Cannot connect to game. Sometimes this is happening when I go to log in other times it happens when the game is trying to load and it will state "Cannot connect to game server". In either case it becomes painfully slow. When I started playing LOTRO I never had this problem. Other things that are happening: Is that the game sometime freezes when I'm going down the road on a horse I got at the stable. It did that to me about an hour & a half ago, I was riding my horse I stopped to check my quests, then when I closed the quest box I couldn't go anywhere, then after waiting a couple of minutes it disconnected me. It took almost an hour to get back on because the log on screen wouldn't load the game? Do I need to reinstall LOTRO? If not could someone please help.
Also another problem the LOTRO store is not working, lately when I click on it it comes up blank?
The first thing I would recommend is to display the latency icon in the alert bar. I believe this is turned on via the game's Options.
This icon will be highlighted green if fine, a yellow-green if somewhat slow and red if you loose connection. Hovering the mouse over the icon will give specific numbers. By comparing the latency values when you notice issues in-game, it might help to determine if you're having trouble communicating with the servers or if it is another issue.
There are any number of other possible problems that could be causing an issue. You might be better off in the Troubleshooting / Support Forum instead. I believe that Forum has several stickied posts listing info needed and/or ways to correct problems.
