problem on crits..
I have a 75 capt and I have 3 rank 6-8 creeps before and switched servers. I have been back playing this sever for maybe 4-5 months. There has really been a lot of complaining on other servers about crits and how it is broken against creeps only..
other PVP forums seem to either have been moved or deleted, but I will not offer any opinions right now so that this one stays up..
This is not a flame, but 26 pages of images taken from chats.

For the last month High Ranking 11-13 freeps and creeps acrross fix the unbalance or we will all quit. finally said fix PVP or we will pull our accounts. This was to Start Feb 10th. i have saw this get 50-100 thick before deleted. Want to know why The wargs got thier new stuff on the 6th? Most creeps and freep saying that all servers are ghost towns of greenies and they new to fix the crit problems or the new wargs traits will not fix anything.
Last Night I tested mikbash with the traits and curruptions that increases my armor numbers total and traited tact resist and I still took over 5k on my Rk 8 warg. I am sure that the freep raid love it lol and the rk that got that crit.

Yes, mits are broken. Yes, they will get fixed. Did we need a new thread for this?
Are you saying you honestly think they told us about Warg updates because they were scared of the PvP strike? That they had no plans to touch the Creeps until you threatened them?

Sadly glorno the mits wont fix the crazy crits. They will help alleviate the problem slightly but freep crits are high right now.

Crits are no higher than they've been in the past (Relative to Creep Morale). In fact, I'd say they are lower in a lot of cases. I could quite literally one shot people on my RK pre RoI. When Moria first released, I could one shot people on my Hunter. With RoI, thats not even thinkable unless its a greenie with 7-8k morale. Are 7-8k crits high? Yes of course. My point is that they've been around for a long, long time.
If there's a problem with crits for creeps, it isn't the high magnitude - its the frequency that they occur. My RK went from a base crit chance of 12-13% pre ROI to upwards of 19-20% (when I trait/gear for it). In fact, all my classes seen at least a 5% crit chance increase from pre RoI to now. Getting hit for insane amounts is nothing new for creeps - but getting hit for those insane amounts every other hit from the 5-6 hunters, 4-5 RK's, 8-9 champs, and 33 minstrels that are out there is.
. It used to be only Rk's and Hunters that could deliver the huge insane crits... now its RK's, Hunters, Champs, Burgs, LM's and of course Minstrels.
Threatening to quit the game or whatever is just childish - Adapt and wait for the changes or just quit, don't go whining on the forums about it...

my mini has like 8k morale and ive been hit for 2k plenty of times. wl's have what 16k morale? does hitting one for 4k mean somethings broken?

It's the magnitude + the frequency + the fact that it's so darn hard to burn through the bubbles of the classes doing the crits too
Hunter - magnitude + frequency - dies fast = ok
Burg - magnitude + frequency - dies eventually = ok
Runekeeper - magnitude + frequency - dies like a slug in salt = fantastic
Minnie - magnitude + never dies = growl

Gents I was not flaming just trying to look for a way to change the game play some. I am a lifetime and have multiple creeps and I love this game from bothsides.. I posted both my Cappy crits out here and how some of the wargs new traights would be OP. this is not just about crits, a lot of the creeps will quit if it continues.
And Glono i do not trust turbine for a good reasons. 100s of high level freeps quit too. If Turbine sold all of your fellowship and class traits for freeps after reach lvl 2 would you trust turbine? How many total playersPVE would be accoss all servers? It took them 9 months to fix the server lines. lol Where is the new PVP zone that they have promised us 2-3 years?
I am just answering his questions I do not trust turbine. lol How do we save the ones we have left before for updte 6.
Make the TP purchases of of creep skills rk skills stop at 6-7. Make Creeps somewhat equal with there roles as freep at maybe rank 9.. Just throughing these out and it could be 10. Remember both sides had 5-6 total classes 4 years so Give the creep good skills at 10-11 and up. Maybe some of them will come back! Most of the high rank skill except the WL are horrible. maybe make the crits go up 1 percent to make up for freeps highers crits.
What I suggest is going to each creeps update 6 and not flaming, but helping them. If you have an LM this was somewhat suppose to be more or less a creeps spider. I have neither but the update is 6 is out for them help them get a playable spider. On the creep rooms maybe even get them a permanant no stun like you have?.
i am going to fo the same for the wl when it comes out. WL where suppose to be capts. They have some nice higher ranked skill are awesome! I can heal 1000-1200 every 15sec with HOH and can still rack a creep for 1900-2300. or red dps i can hit 3900-4500. crits. This something that i will bring to there Update 6 for WL room.
Some characters class skills are OP and they need to ensure they make it no use skill for in the moors like the used to with freeps and later possible creeps new skills. We all know what I am talking about and it is not my captain or glornos Warden! lol Freeps and Creeps think it though this way, which classes are so OP that you would not ever Spar?
Then the creeps morale should be dropped almost the same as freeps at 85.
Get rid of the delving grinds for stuns pots for both sides and sell the ones that work at vender for gold.
I am biased, but lets end with the creeps stuff. BAs are op right now and I have one that I rarely play because of it. The crits links above shows that they need to be dropped DPS is maybe 5-10 percent higher they are suppose to be and most BA are admmiting in that link.
I will post some of this on the PVP general area. I have already posted the crits and on the new warg traits being Op and some that will not work.
WIll you do the same with your Kins and Tribes? Stop the flames or it will not get this fixed.
Then maybe we could get back to arguing who hides more in Tr and Lugs like we have for 4 years! lol,

Why not? Larger mits = less damage = smaller crits.
I think this is the source of your concern that is echoed throughout your post, and not that I blame you for it, but you seem very black and white on the issue. Warg traits OP, BAs OP, Minnies OP, Spiders UP, Creeps UP, etc it's all about being over the top powerful or completely underpowered. That's just not how it works, there are many shades of grey.
WLs aren't Captains, Wargs aren't Burgs, Spiders aren't LMs, Reavers aren't Champs. Again, I realize Creeps aren't in the best place right now. With that said, WLs are as powerful as they have ever been, BAs are great, and we know Wargs and Spiders (at least) are getting good sized updates along with possibly even more: There's some more information coming out in the near future, so keep your eyes peeled for information and Dev Diaries. If you are a PvMP fan of this game, this is the most exciting time in a long time (possibly ever) and the most communicative the Devs have been since I can remember. Also, please show me where we were promised a new zone. I don't believe it's ever happened, even though I always see people referring back to that to show how awful Turbine is. At one point it was something they wanted to do, but it didn't pan out. I would hardly call that "a promise they didn't deliver". This is probably why they normally don't communicate with us very much, we tear them apart over things they never even said!
Bottom line for me is that I don't see anything other than this being one of the most exciting times to be a LOTRO PvP fan. Creep revamps especially and, at the risk of reading too deeply into the previous quite I linked, even more we haven't been told about yet!

Well that's kind of my point, no one can find them ever committing to that. It's always been "we would like to" or "we are looking at". They haven't promised anything in this regard.
I'm more than willing to be proved wrong, it's just like I said I think it's just something people have heard through the grapevine not actually from Turbine. The last I saw an actual Dev say was something along the lines of "we wanted to, but unfortunately it didn't work out". Nowhere near a promise that has wronged our entire community.

The first threads turbine prunes are the ones where they have said they will do something and not delivered. Finding evidence of that can be quite difficult.

Aaron: One of the big things that's important for us is that we're going to give the players a new monster play area. They've been living pretty much in the Ettenmoors so we're giving them a new space to fight over. We still haven't made a final call on the exact details of that. Certainly the area around Isengard and maybe special spaces is an option too. We think it's pretty exciting and we're also going to be expanding the opportunities for monster players to skill up and gain new advancement paths.
Sorry, I was being a little facetious. It seems very reasonable to believe that a new zone was planned, but pulled for some reason, and that kind of thing happens. Cool, thanks for that link Clarysta. Them saying "we still need to figure out the details" says to me that it was never set in stone, and I agree with you it was a pretty stupid thing for them to say "we will be giving a new area" since it was clearly never close to being finished.
Still, it looks like it was said somewhere, thanks for that. I still think the whole lying to us about a new zone thing is a bit over the top, but I won't deny what they said and I can see how some may have latched onto it.

Exactly. They were never meant to be the same when the game first released and I don't see them changing that. Imagine how boring it would be if I went out to the ettenmoors on my champion and all I could find was other champions with exactly the same skill set and gear? The mechanics for freeps and creeps are entirely different and I /salute Turbine for that. Almost any other game has the same classes on both sides, and it just isn't as interesting.

I dis read th new warg skills and mostly I dont it will work. Having an unstealthed warg without having an LM type no stun buff wil just get us killed. lol The burgs re OP Glorno come on! lol They have 5 stun and 40 meter stealth mez without losing stealth. When grouped together they are very op.
So you did think that they had promised a new PVMP area?

No I do not think they ever promised us a new zone. It was something they wanted to do but it didn't work out. This happens in games like this. We can agree to disagree on this because I can tell you feel differently.
I also don't see how anyone currently playing a Warg can look at the proposed changes and not be excited. Instead of focusing on the "OMG WE CAN'T STEALTH IN THIS STANCE" look at what you can do. I feel that Wargs will be quite powerful, but again we can agree to disagree.

I certainly feel powerful on mine. =) Especially if I stay mobile, cause as much chaos as possible, and use all my skills.

I am somewhat excitied on the new flayer may work and I will try with the NPCs first! I could se working in a 1 vs 1 Glorno or small fel vs Fel. I just do not see it working in a situation like last night where we had 15-20 freeps. It is stun, daze, slow, situation with 5 sec pot from delving and your AOE DPS. We asked on the wargs dev 6 thread for 7-10 no stun, but there has been no reply yet and most freeps have agreed with it in the thread.
I do hope it works! Are you excited about your warden changes too?
