The Sad state of PvMP...BG...where the heck is my Tribe?
Hey all you Bad Guys members, where are you? I know I stopped playing for a while but I'm back and the freeps are schooling the creeps. There is no organization amongst creeps, it's pitiful! Six, Body, Burning, etc...we need you!!!

I've heard that RIFT has improved quite a bit since I last played, how are you finding it?

I'm really enjoying the game. I, personally, think it's one of the best MMOs to be released in a while. There is an attraction for any player and I appreciate that they invest into PvP development as well as PvE.
Not to mention, the dynamic nature of PvE is what has really kind of blown me away.
And while with any PvP system, there are going to be constant checks and balances, Trion has really listened to the community and made routine notes and followed through with implementing them.

Wish the same could be said about Bioware.
From the beginning, it seemed like Bio Ware was designing Star Wars to make money and not designing Star Wars to make one of the best MMOs to be offered.
It's like old LoTRO and new LoTRO. Old LoTRO wanted to offer one of the best MMOs on the market. New LoTRO is designed to make as much money as an MMO on the market.
Anyhow, if any of you guys are going to check out RIFT, let me know. I have 10 more levels till cap but enjoying the hell out of it so far.

I might pick rift back up then if its worth it, I know i enjoyed myself while leveling up which hasn't happened since way back when at the start of lotro. Between rifts, pvp, and quests it they really make the leveling process fun since you have multiple avenues to pursue, though i lost steam at the cap, I don't know how it is now, but i imagine getting back into pvp would be a pain with ranks/gear differences.

1.7 Was released a week or so ago and they have made an effort to correct that:
* In the ongoing effort to more appropriately match up characters of different ranks, and give a smoother entry to high-level PvP, we will be revamping the existing Prestige system in 1.7.
* The Prestige system has expanded from 8 ranks to 40 - existing ranks will be converted to the appropriate rank on the updated scale.
* Bolstering is now enabled for level 50 Warfronts. Players entering a level 50 Warfront below Rank 13 will have their stats boosted to be more effective for both rank-appropriate and mixed-rank Warfronts.
* Removed Rank requirements from all PvP armor sets. You still need to purchase sets sequentially, but the limiting factor is now total Favor gained rather than rank.
