Thread: Cooking Quest Issue

So Ive Switched Back and forth a few times between crafts, I went back to cooking and at T3 I'm not getting the quest to advance any further. So naturally my craft xp is frozen Jewel Underhill has no available quests for me.

Memory Fault. Isn't Jewel an Expert Cook? I thought you had to go to one of the Novice Cooks to get the Superior Oven quest.

Yes, a novice cook should give the quest to talk to Jewel. However, I have the same problem as the OP, having already been in the cook's guild with this alt. Now I can't find anyone to give this quest. I have tried the Novices in MD and also in Bree.

Oh. I think I know what the problem is. Turbine had this problem before with crafting. The quest must not be repeatable. You need to write a bug report. It may take a long time before Turbine fixes it.

Turbine deleted all the old crafting quests for getting access to superior crafting facilities. Turbine might have missed this aspect when creating the new quests.

Really hoping they change them to repeatables soon or something though, since I'm having the same problem with cooking on my main and I'm a bit shy about opening tickets... :F

This issue should have been fixed quite some time ago.

If you've done the Superior Facility quests before, have changed Vocations and find that you need to do them again and cannot, please bug this (use /bug or Submit a Bug through the ingame Help menu). This means there is something on your character that is not resetting correctly.

Try to be as detailed as possible in your bug, and never feel shy about filing bugs! Without bug reports we don't know what's wrong with the game or what needs fixing!

Just a quick follow-up: the quest already got fixed for me, it had been reset I assume. It's wonderful this only took one proper businessday, to me that's very fast. Thanks Turbine (and whoever it was that reset it )! ^-^<3

You should count yourself lucky. I've had a bug report in for a few days for this exact same issue and GM's have refused to reset the quest for me. Whatta bummer

this bug is still with us *sighs*
changed back to cook and now stuck on tier 1 expert and cannot progress
sent in a bug report now just have to sit and wait...surprised this bug is still floating around

didnt wait long about an hour before the clouds parted and a voice rang out from the heavens! A nice GM fixed me up quickly!
