Discussion: looking for a tribe / PvMP group

I just started LOTRO yesterday, been playing ddo for a few years and just got tired of it. One of the main reasons i chose LOTRO was because I was intersted in the PvMP system. I leveled my freep up to level 10 and immediately went into monster play. I started with the reaver but ended up buying warg. So now i'm a rank 1 warg, just got the enhanced stealth skill.

Obviously at this rank I cant solo anything and I'm having trouble finding a spot in any groups. I'm looking for a tribe or a group that will let me join with them so I can get into some action and learn. I have ears and mic, just need a little guidance and a chance.

I saw you earlier. Welcome to creep side.

You won't get into many groups, what I would recommend is that you quest. Getting your maps as a warg is vital, as you will be asked to scout. When your rank 4 (and you get shadow damage, yay!) you should be able to damage freeps slightly better. As long as you follow instructions and play decently you should have no trouble of getting into warg packs. And on tribes, I hear hounds of dol Goldur are a warg tribe.

Oh, and please don't pounce burgs.

I would quest a bit as Stevo said. There's nothing you can really kill in the first couple ranks. Also, I strongly urge you not to rely on warg packs- they really don't make you into a decent player by any means.

Congrats on joining us on the Brandywine Creepside! I also came to LoTRO from DDO (CLAW->Thelanis) and there is a lot to relearn.

Thanks for the invite. Gave it a shot for last few days and its just not a a good match for me, thank you for the opportunity though.

Hounds of Dol Guldur isnt recruiting right now unfortunatly so the only way to get in is if u know someone whos already in or if u talk to Budgrinder himself. sorry :/
