Thread: Bring your Team to the Moors !

Hello everyone,

Now that Servers are down i take the time to write down an Idea that i had for some Time now.. All credit goes to Kalyna,i kind of stole your concept.


Withywindle is a small Server,and we dont have big Numbers coming to the Moors daily,and not everyone likes 1v1 fights.


My Idea is that Players that are interested in good,fun and fair Fights, team up with some Friends in either 4 or 6 Man Teams and sign up for Fights,or challenge specific other Teams if they wish..


I dont want to make this too tecnical with Rules so here the few to start with :

No Racial Skills
No Store consumables aka Store Brand,Potions and such
No Potions - *creeps are allowed to use Power Potions only due to small power Pools and almost non existent icpr*
Not more then 2 of each Class in the grp
And no coming back from Spawn
Last and most important Rule : Have Respect - No flaming,no calling out,and fight with Honor.
*More might get added after we had some fights,due to the current imbalance of the Sides*


We wont do this Daily,for now i thought of maybe 1-2 times a Week just to add some diversity and challenge to our Moors Fights,so everyone that doesnt like this Kind of Fights shouldnt be offended and can still play like always,i ask however to respect the Fights we have and not to gank them while they are going on

I think that isnt too much to ask from mature Players

If you have some Friends and want to try this out,make a post here,let me know wich Days would be nice,or any suggestions that you might have.

Since not many actually read the Forums,or the PvMP part i will announce it ingame aswell,and see if Ppl actually are up for this Kind of PvP..

Well i think DOH can bring a few good 6 men teams in ettens , tho we also need the cooperation of our creep fellows.
I think organised fights would be more fun then camping oc/ec or just do mindless gankings on the map.

I will put together a KR team, anyone is free to challenge us. I assume we're ready at the end of the week.

Let me have a chat to Cell and the rest of the kin, chances are good Hands of Tulkas will represent.

Cillion, if you do 6 v 6 the advantages of freeps are usually tones down, since if a class goes god move creeps just switch target so i think in theory at least, in 6 v 6 all goes. Or maybe just make 7 creeps vs 6 freeps. Play with the possibilities.

As far as LotR group we may not be able to pull a full 6 at the moment due to the fact we are busy with ToO at the most interesting hours of the day. But if any of us pops by (either on creep of freep) im sure well find a spot in the action . Just decide on a day and hour and we will spread the info in the event rooster so anyone interested will know .

If guildlaunch is free to use maybe we could make a page for ettens on withy where we could use the raid programer to schedule things so we concentrate our numbers more wisely. What do you think about this ideea? :-?

I do have a proposal for the rules;

Allow creeps to use DoF resistance/evade/etc. pots. They give minimal buffs but at least they slightly counter the insane advantages freeps get by Do not fall to X, cappy buffs, mini aura's and what not.

And allow the use of power pots by creeps. Our ICPR is non-existant and there's no way I'll last through 6 freeps, let alone other classes/lower ranks.

DoF Pots, DP buffs,class buffs etc are allowed,since both sides have some kind of buffs,food etc...

Good idea with Power Potions,i think no one will complain about that since creeps power regen and power pools arent that massive as freep ones.. Will edit it asap.


Will talk to a few Ppl ingame tomorrow,and see if we can find some Days and a decent Time for this... Still need more Ppl,tell your Kin/Tribe about it and lets have some Fun

KhaosRogues is able to represent with a team nearly every evening. Since freeps are not that active in PvMP and may have trouble putting up a group, you can challenge us here, in-game or through teamspeak. Contact Dodar/Curuornn, give a time & numbers and we will see if we can make it.
