Thread: 1v1 and how you have seen them end

Over these years of 1v1 fights in the moors, there have been some very interesting ways these fights have ended. Tell me the ways you have seen a 1v1 end in the moors before

So, I'm a level 75 sword-n-board guardian. I head to the Moors and conveniently win 4 1v1s in a row. Along came the 5th, a Rank 6 Reaver. He proceeds to put a bleed and slow on me and run away, turning back to swing another bleed/slow only when the original was running out. Despite all 60% tactical mitigation and 15.5k HP unbuffed, I bled to death. His HP stood at around 400HP at the time of my passing.

Now I make sure he's the target of my Bash/Shield Smash! That 3s stun always buys time for the cavalry to come charging in!

I've seen everything from winning a 1v1 I thought I could not possibly win, to lagging out, having my opponent log off, server die, Lotroclient crash, get blown up by an incoming raid, have a creep raid blow up my target unawares, opponent blow immunity then sprint to nearest NPC's, miserably lose a 1v1 I thought I had a good chance at, been two-shotted, had freeps/creeps nearby cheer wether I win or lose, been ruded, had a gaggle of burgs suddenly appear midfight and start dancing, defeated my opponent to have nearby freeps corpsejump him, been corpsejumped slapped and laughed at, had freeps line up and breathe fire for me, fireworks, freeps fight me with flowers, had a line of naked freeps jump through the fight, and have sat watching other 1v1's only to be set on fire and ganked by others.

TL/DR seen a few fun things!

hahahah yea one thing the moors is good at is you never know what will happen ive had fights where i couldnt believe it and others where i had to log out and calm down lol

hmmm.. mine usually end in me releasing to the nearest rez circle...

My favorite to this day was against a certain pickle wielding defiler. Started up the Lugz hill where we Tangoed for what seemed like forever, when I proceeded to fall off the cliff down to the stone trolls. Well he must have been thinking of the good of all, not wanting that pickle of his to cause an earthquake when it hit from so far up, but he didn't follow. I hopped on my horse and rode off. I ran in to him again right away at the norbogs between TA and TR. This time I wasn't as ready. I believe it was the Lombada he was dancing this time and he was leading! Anyway, any fight that starts on one side of the map and ends on the other is worthy of note. See you out there!

I saw one end with a Mighty Blow.

As a rule I do not engage in a 1 vs 1. Why? because I lack the control of my digits to win at one. The few times I do attack a freep alone it most times ends with me being blown up by his buddies. The only freeps I will pounce when on my own are those I have respect for. If I pounce you, then run in circles around you run, the raid coming.
