That's what I love about raid locks for a thread like this...seems like nothing is happening and then BAM
Update time with lots of progress! Love it.
Oh, also really cool to see some videos here and there, hope people are just posting them for their awesomeness and not thinking they are required to RE: the initial post (videos only necessary RE: Saruman). Really cool to hear people actually talking in their videos too. Nothing wrong with the musical ones (and I thank the European servers for introducing me to Two Steps From Hell - aka "dramatic music" genre), but always cool to hear how people approach their communication methods.
Been looking at Fire / Frost a bit...you know, it almost looks like you need 3 tanks. 2 for giant each (1 to kite) and another for a 'grim holder' for challenge. Calculating just how long the fight SHOULD take given people's output, get enough spare grims for the 2nd giant, take down first by normal methods and any spare grims are picked up and kited, with the non-shadows being cherry picked out VIA champ challenge or the like.
Assuming everything goes well all the time...maybe, just MAYBE you could get the first down using the kited giant's grims...hopefully have enough DPS for the bubbles (if most raid is able to focus on one giant), THEN have spare grims with which to repeat the process on the last.
...but by damn that looks stupid just re-reading it again.

Is there a way to do Acid HM reliably or is the not getting hit by geysers part pure luck? I mean people seem to get hit even if constantly running and jumping.
Many philosophical problems are caused by such things as the simple inability to shut up.

I would like to know this as well. In fact, can someone PM me if they have done this without the 500000 burgs. I would like to discuss details with him/her on it.
I know many just say load up the dps and go but I do not want to tell half the friends/pugs I raid with to sit because we want to go super burn mode on the boss.
We did it with 1 or 2 geysir phases, feel free to pm me with questions.

as far as i can tell ya, theres no save way / save spot, to evade the geysirs...
they seem to spawn randomly... ya can see them prematurely tho, as theres always sum bubbles before spawn...
sum switched to walk mode, just to make the jumpin easier... for we jumped round the middle of the room, a wee towards the place ya first fall down... raid jumped a tight circle round there... been just fine...

Why not just briefly describe here in two or three sentences?
cause he ask for a pm.
.... but here for you:
Hey,
okay first about adds:
We bring the troll down to 5-10k that is really fast with one champ and one ranged on them. A Guardian trys to catch all other Adds with help of the Captains. Wenn the troll at 15k the ranged swap to the pulk of the dragons and avanc and aoe them down, after some AOE's we give the kill commando and everyone go all-out. That works fine. I see other tactics like let a guardian get all and aoe all of them down, that seems to work too very well.
second about the geysir's
i think there are some "safe spots" we found one on the right of the boss. Jump between this hills in small circles. The Geysirs will be spawn on the sides of you, but never ender you. I will try to take a screenshot if i don't forget it. Just look for that hills right near the boss
edit: i will steal a screenshot:
In the middle between that people, that is the safespot ^^

It isn't hard to avoid them just jumping normally anyway, you just need to react quickly.
we do normal jumping, just found a spot we you will never get a geysir under you... i think there are some similiar spots in the room.

Movement is key in this boss fight...as others have said before, people may find it useful to switch to walk mode (standard key is INSERT key) so their jumping range is about half es big as in running mode.
