Saruman T2 (no challenge - we were the unfortunate victims of an inopportune dorf tossing).

Strong Belwas kill Saruman. Belwas let Saruman cut him once though.

The mighty Saruman falls to the blow of the Avorthalier Raid on T2 CM.

House of Elders on Gladden completed Saruman T2C tonight - we've now cleared all challenges in Orthanc (still have to work on scheduling to get the title though!).

Congratz Apex on both kills. It was sad to see some hate come from another player, bringing about arrogance how they could have done it better. I thought this thread was all about progression to move on from arrogance and hate, However I guess not.

Anyway good luck next week for the CM clear hope you guys get it.

Dear God Quantar, you swore that your worn symbol would not go to someone in a raiding kin and 3 days later poof(!) your symbol receiver is in a raiding kin, what a coinky-dink.

Really sucks to have people in this thread constantly boasting. Really brings down the name of their kin. Hope this thread will be just about raid progression and not about bragging rights.

Quantar should not have made any comments in regards to his feelings on Apex in this thread. Specifically not for that. Was hoping to catch him on and have him delete his post(s). Ramble On apologises for derailing the thread.

However, since we now have members of a certain Kinship trashing my own Kin when they're well aware why Q is upset with Apex, I would like to clear some things up:

Apex's leader and officers are all from a certain other server, and prior to joining our server had completed Lightning T2C. They joined our server by joining some of the top raiding kinships on our server, learning their strats, telling the members of those Kinships that they didn't know how to play, and that they could do a lot better of a job on their exit. For the record, Ramble On is very open about their strategies as plenty of Kins can attest to, however joining our Kin to learn our strats, waste our time, and follow that up by insulting our entire kin is not something enjoyable. Fifi in particular had a nice go at Vanguard and how 'unimpressive' they are. Fifi is the same person who consistently joins T2 Pugs and bails without notice if there are a couple of wipes.

This is why Q made comments. We were told our Captains don't know how to trait, among many other things. So Q had a go at them. Should he have? No. However the reasons he made comments wasn't him 'bragging', it was because the Kin that said they were so much better than anyone else failed to back that up.

So, since Off-Peak decided to join in here and trash my own Kin I feel the need to clear up exactly why they are doing so, and despite being another Kin Apex trashed (and specifically trashing Apex to me many a time), why they are going after Ramble On and Quantar.

Once upon a time Ramble On and Off-Peak were quite close as Kins go, regularly ran together, had mutual respect. Drama inside Off-Peak (backstabbing, loot whoring, exploiting) turned myself off them and so our friendship died off. A shame. Now, why Off-Peak has venom for Ramble On now is because Quantar made an unspecific post a month or so ago, not realising who he was calling out about a certain member of Off-Peak exploiting and bragging about it in GLFF.

Off-Peak did not like their exploiting habits being aired to the public since it calls into question their integrity. Maybe they should just not exploit content regularly, and then their integrity won't be called into question. They had posts on their own forums bragging about their own exploiting (in particular, they would abuse the Burg 4 yellow macro tricks exploit). Obviously that is bothersome to a Leader of a Kin that has a very harsh rule against exploiting a video game.

I apologise for derailing the thread further. I was going to attempt to fix it, but since Off-Peak decided to trash my Kin and I have remained silent for a long time I felt the need to clear things up.

Grats to the members of Apex on FF T2C and Saruman T2C. I do not have respect for those who trash other kins and fail to back it up, but that is not Apex as a whole.

There are several mistakes with your post Myk however as I stated this is a raid progression thread and do not wish to continue to add fuel to the fire, as this thread has already had numerous pages of similar discussion in the past. Perhaps people discussing this in game would be better

No there are not any mistakes. It is just stuff you would rather not have aired. I understand. I am happy to end this, but I have been quiet for a long time and you guys just decided to knowingly trash my Kinship despite knowing Q's intentions were different to how you portrayed them. It is a shame, since we were once rather close, but I will not take my post down unless posts trashing my Kinship are taken down. Let it be the end of it.

Q made an ill-advised post. You guys decided to rail him for it despite knowing the reasons of his sensitivity regarding Apex. Anything from here on is on you. I am just correcting things.

I always had a ton of respect for you guys as players, and once upon a time we were friendly - despite your continued exploitive habits. Oh well. =/

I'm somewhat new to Elendilmir, but when I transferred here looking for a new raiding kin the resounding advice was, "stay clear of Ramble on", and every time anyone from Ramble On posts on these forums I am constantly reminded of what great advice that was.

My first post saying gratz to Apex, I really meant that, I am happy for them.

The 2nd post, that does not even have Apex name in it. It had Fifi. And many people don't even know who Fifi is. So I dont know what you guys are all getting so upset about and where I was trashing Apex..

I had to swap to my laptop at short notice due to connection problems (hence the complete mess of a UI), but it worked out OK in the end.

Congrats to everyone's completion! For the record, OP, please forgive the 3 Elendilmir kinships for causing drama on this thread.

The past is the past, Apex and all of their members do not claim to be better than any of these kinships, and we apologize for any past hate towards your kinships. Lets put these things behind us and move on.
