Hi every one, most of you guys know me in the deed hunters so if you see this hey . umm any how my questions and thoughts today are about the war horses as we all have heard about from the news. So that being said what are you thoughs? where can you get a horse? when? where and how? how much money will it cost? or is it a quest? or maybe a deed? or perhaps a kin standing with the riders before you may buy one. those are my questions, so see you guys in game later! bye\
Re: thoughs of the when and wheres of the war horses
My thoughts are it will be a novelty and not even an essential, where lots of grinding for little reward will be involved and of course you will be able to spend real money via the store pimping them out.
Guessing how naff Turbine are at converting ideas into reality, it will no doubt be only in special skirmish/instance things and not in open world. Im defo praying they wont be able to be used in ettenmoors or I will be submitting my idea for wargs/spiders in rollerboots and orcs/uruks on scooters.
Re: thoughs of the when and wheres of the war horses
right it is possible that it could mean tp and money but it also could be a trainable like at the farm guy that gives you your first horse, and i do agree that if the horses are let in the moores that would be awful. oh btw i got my first ranking!
Re: thoughs of the when and wheres of the war horses
I think its waaaaaay to early to think about where to get the horse from, the expansion is still 8-10 months away. But if I remember correctly Turbine has said somewhere that the horse was absolutely neccessary to have in Rohan because of the warg-packs.
So if I had to make a guess on where to get it : A Hengstacer Farm type thing with a little instance to learn how to use the horse.
Re: thoughs of the when and wheres of the war horses
Now that just conjures up a wonderful image of an Elders's raid, travelling the plains of Rohan in their twelve bright red mobility scooters with their shields and instruments stored in the baskets at the front (pies, in the case of hobbits).
Naturally they'd be in a 'V' formation, tank at the front, imagining themselves as fighter pilots....
