Thread: So when, exactly (or so) is U6 coming???

I noticed in today's Turbine announcements that Update 6 would be coming sometime in the spring, and that it would include an entirely new cap-level region. So it sounds like March is straight out and April sounds iffy. The odds of delays to get the new region right are high, and I undersand the reason for such possible delays, but a real fix to the Warden class is tied to that update. Any further indication on when we might expect it?

It should be in March. Since F2P Turbine has released an update every 3 months, and since the last one was December... well, there ya go.

Sapience (or was it Patience) said in one post that the January update was 5.1, there would be a 5.2 (more bug fixes) and then Update 6. Based on comments that they are trying to hit some kind of release once a month or so, I'm going to be optimistic and assume 5.2 comes out in Feb amd U6 comes out in March.

It would be Sapience, Patience left Turbine a while back.

According to the release, RoR is Fall of 2012 (http://www.lotro.com/news/pressrelea...iders-of-rohan).

I belive U6 isn't related to RoR, atleast I hope so...

No RoR is not U6.

RoR will be U7 where they re-break the warden after they fix it in U6.

eh...if we're getting open world soldiers then its not gonna matter, level an herbalist and /faceroll mode activate

We still may not be superior pure tanks to guards, but with ranged DPS boost, melee DPS stance, and open world herbalist to make up for our ###### mits, we may end up becoming more like single-target champs with much better threat management.

All classes will be helped by the open world soldiers. This won't be any particular help to the Warden.

It's how they've been doing it pretty much since F2P came out, an Update every 3 months.

Ok, thanks... you are likely correct but it is speculation.

But again, when exactly (or so) is U6 coming? All that is said by Turbine is sometime in "spring". That could be as early as the last week of March. Or it could be mid-June.

Again, if they follow their pattern it'll be March. We know that they're releasing a 5.2 (blue name verified), and then they're releasing 6. That would match up with a 5.2 for February and a 6 for March.

Can you share a link please? *cries along with all of the dots and symbols*

I wouldn't get too excited about open-world soldiers. I highly doubt they'll be allowed in dungeons, raids, etc. So they're quite literally "open-world", or "landscape" soldiers. And correct me if I'm wrong, but Wardens don't really need any help on open-world landscape encounters.

They'll be a fun toy, maybe help with some rare signature elites, but solving Warden problems they will not.
