I just started playing again after my 4-5 month break
& Noticed quite a few changes like uhm..
Changed Strong Draw to more damage instead of less focus
15 seconds off Needful Haste
Agility has melee damage instead of might
Stances obviously
Not really anything major, I was just wondering if endgame
ROI hunters were just as good as lvl 65 ones in SOM
Like if getting 65to75 will be worth it or if I should start giving my burglar some intention lol
Hunters are mostly just fine nowadays. The class does indeed have a few issues, but it is still probably able to put out the best single-target dps in game. Some of the changes you mentioned actually helped hunters a lot in my opinion...for example the needful haste change allows us to keep it up 50% of the time now whereas pre-RoI it was much less. The strong draw change won't even be noticed if you go for the Faron set at end-game, the 5-set bonus is basically the old trait, and it allows you do unleash an obscene amount of focus shots for as long as your power bar allows it lol.
I don't do PVMP myself so I can't comment much, but I have heard of a lot of hunters struggling in the moors. However, I have also heard of many hunters who say that they are doing better in the moors than ever before now lol, so it probably boils down to player gear/skill in large part.
That said, I noticed you have a burg, and I'm not going to lie...they're pretty crazy right now too lol. So take your pick, either class is able to do it's job effectively.

For PvE and raiding, they are ezmode as always. If you can stand still, avoid aggro, smash buttons aimlessly, you can be quite effective, especially if you can gear yourself to sit over 2k agility, which is fairly easy. Throw in a sprinkle of ICPR and you will be quite effective. You'll die much more quickly than in previous expansions, however.
For PvP, the curve is steeper. If you're a bad hunter, PvP is wretchedly bad despite the creep tears flooding the hoardale and forums. If you're an average hunter, you'll get along in PvP, but you won't be able to solo a whole lot. If you can handle your business and have fairly decent gear, PvP can be fun still. You have to pick and choose your fights though, as creeps can drop you in a flash if you misstep. Despite all that, when I play my warg and I see any hunter, I feel confident that I can beat them 95%+. You'll still find wargs who cry though, but they generally are bad players who just don't know how to play the class regardless of their rank or how many skills they purchased.
Hunters are very situational in moors, often you'll see them get eaten by a couple of wargs, other times they can cause complete havok with Rain of Arrow spam or turn a creep inside out just with Penetrating Shots.

Bad hunters will, yes, good ones though, as ever, know how to deal with threat while putting out good DPS.
As ever, GOOD hunters are awesome in group content, bad ones continue to cause tanks and healers nightmares .. or are allowed to die in the [vain] hope they'll learn.
End game hunters do what they do best, DPS a lot :P The moment i hit 75 my offense was about 56-60%, nowadays with good gear etc i'm way over 100% in precision, about 110% in groups, critting 1/4th of the time and never get a block/parry/evade with 18% finesse. :P It's awesome!

And you also have 8k unbuffed morale right? :P
I'd really like to know your gear as I can get each stat that high seperately but all at the same time.... I wouldn't know how.
Screenies please!
I can get to 100% ranged offence (PM) with S:S but in S:P (which i always use) I'm around 90%. I believe crit rating should be as high as possible because a crit just gives so much more DPS. Crit before PM.
Also, we should not underestimate the AoE abilities of hunters. I just levelled a 75 hand weapon and put the aoe legacy on. That is pretty neat AoE damage in raid skirmishes and foundry e.g. and with the 3 piece bonus of the Faron set you could just AoE as long as your focus and power allow it. If I hit a group of 5 there is always at least 1 that crits.

Here you go, still need faron gloves and the skirmish boots, and some other stuff (and 1st ager that comes soon )
Solid damage build but I bet that is not the morale pool you do Too with
Hehe true, for ToO it depends on which wing and then i slot some of the crafted bracelets that give vit/morale/crit, another ring, and a lvl75 crafted earring with vit+morale. I have about 10k-11k morale with buffs then. Just for wings where i need this survivability.
