Greetings.
I've been playing this game for little time (max. level is 16 on Hunter), and really like the Quests system.
Maybe is what I like the most.
Seems a bit overwhelming, I mean, there's SO much to do and SO much to learn.
What I really don't like, so far, is that most armor and weapons are bound on use.
Well, seems this will be more interesting as I play, so, off I go.

Good hunting!
Glad you are enjoying the game. Just wanted to make sure that armor being bound on use does not mean that you cannot ever unequip it. It just means that once you equip it you cannot then give it to anyone else. All you can do at that point is to vendor it once it has outlived its usefulness. I say this because I have read other people before say that they never equipped bound items because they thought they would be stuck with it from then on.

Hehehe ... well, same folks sure have all bags and vaults filled with all the Bind-on-Acquire items

Nope, I just don't like selling to NPC vendors good stuff I could sell or give to my other characters
Sorry, but it has to work that way for economy balance. Because all equipment is eternally renewable through repairs, it would flood the world with high level and even low level equipment if anyone could give it to anyone when they were done with it. Not saying you're stupid or anything; just explaining how and why ^_^

A little bit... the main reason though is that it makes gold-selling totally uninteresting. By making all the 'top' items BoA, you can't buy them with Gold, so there's hardly reason to sell it. The downside is a somewhat stale economy.

In theory, the excessive binding could also be used to give players a better chance to get decent items (since once you use them they'll be bound, and when you replace them they are worthless). Originally I even thought that was indeed the case, as I even got some set pieces from normal, non-instanced, non-boss monsters. Hasn't happened in a long time, though, so I'm guessing that only happens in the free parts :-)
