Open Letter to Turbine
I would like to share my thoughts about actual pvmp balance in the Ettenmoors.
Many words have been said what is wrong, by people lot more experinced in this topic than me ( „The reasons for my retirement” by Gromlog, many posts by Harmonizer – both from my server), so I will focus on something different.
To make long story short – I stop playing (and, what is more important – stop paying, and buying anything in the lotro store. I think Turbine have earned from me about 100$ so far). At least stop playing to the nearest update (not patch), if there will be some serious changes in pvmp I will come back (with money), if not – well.
What is more, I strongly encurage every creep, and seriously orientated freep pvmp player, to do the same. Why freep also you can ask ? Well in my oppinion so big unbalnce is, in long term, destroying freeps pvmp fun also, becouse with who You will be fighting ? With a few low ranked creeps, trying new options in lotro ? How long it will be fun ? Ettens are going to be very silent indeed.
Now the most important part :
Sending a letter with official complaintment to Warner Bros and Turbine Inc.
Here I am adding few links :

and ofcourse my favourite :
opening ticket in the game
Additionaly PM to Developers (Kelsen Orion) by this forum.
Letter can be written as below :
„To Turbine Inc. ( being part of Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc) CEO/President
I would like to submit official complaint about Lord of The Rings Online, game mantained by Turbine Inc. Part of the game regarding player versus player activity is almost unplayable. Balance between two fractions available in this game is, in practice, not existing. As a result many players interested in player versus player activity (including myself), are leaving LOTRO, and ceasing subscriptions.
I have no idea if the developers resposible for this part of the game are unable to maintain it correctly because of Turbine politics (neglecting this aspect of the game), or because their own incompetence. Many complaints (from several players) adressed on the official LOTRO forum, or in the game, were ignored for a long time, also including plain bugs – not only balance issues.
I am looking forward to some serious actions, and/or response in this matter.
Your sincerly /Your real name, phone and country/.”
Do I think that this latter will make miracle ?
No, but I have to do something before leaving this game, and have at least slight hope that it will work, if not – well I have tryied my best (Guild Wars II awaits). I am leaving (for now), and I am encuraging everyone to do the same (and signing this topic).
With regards – Papamidnight (wl) and Wulver (warg) from Laurelin.

I also have dropped my sub. Many people say PvP is simply an Addon, but LOTS of creeps have payed money or even have a sub. Turbine may realise something when they're profit's going down.

Re: Open Letter to Turbine
My experienced guess is that Orion was very disgruntled with the Creeps after his time as the Creep Dev and this is why he selected the Lootboxes as the method for our new appearances
Kelsan is now his new apprentice and probably has to answer to Orion before making any Creep changes
I would expect a lot of sufferingMy name is Purebloodnakh, Chieftain of Saruman's Armies of the North, General of the Warg Legions, loyal servant to the true Lord, Sauron. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next.

turbine focuses on profit, since pve has players dishing out more $, they stay with what pve has to complain about. monster play is non existent.

Re: Open Letter to Turbine
Go over turbines head, its clear the simply dont care at this point. Write letters to the tolkien estate encouraging them to pull the license for lotro.

I will not purchase any TP points until something is done about this. As a lifetimer who happily purchases TP when I want some things, this will mean NO revenue from me in the future.

The main reasons why I am not happy as a paying customer are:
* The content provided to me is extremely flawed (Draigoch, Orthanc e.t.c) and has not undergone beta-testing before release;
it makes me feel like I am paying money to Turbine to be their beta-tester.
* The client crash-rate upon entering Galtrev/Orthanc/Fangorn is 99.9%.
* The PvMP is completely unbalanced and there are no improvements being made to it.
* The feeling of being slapped in the face for actually supporting the game developers (and their in-game support) with a monthly fee.
* Being greeted with advertisement (buy this!, buy that!) in every single UI window even though I am a paying customer.
* I am not able to purchase quest-packs/skirmishes as I am already a VIP-customer, which actually motivates me to stop paying for a subscription, so that I can buy (own) them, instead of (renting) them.
****************************** *************
Ever since I started playing LOTRO, I have been fascinated with the captivating landscape, the immersive environment, the captivating story-lines and the Tolkien dream come to life, but as of late (read: Rise of Isengard expansion and onwards) I am extremely disappointment in the low quality of content provided and that there is next to no quality assurance going into new material prior to release.
Comparing the older instances such as Fornost, Carn-Dûm, The Rift of Nurz Ghashu or even Barad-Gúlaran (all which made you say 'Wooow!!!') against the new Rise of Isengard (where you say 'meh!') just makes me sad, very sad, in seeing how little love and care Turbine puts into creating new contents for us. It seems they have no passion for the game itself any longer and that is how it translates onto us players; we loose ours too.
We are no longer players to them, we are nothing but statistics for the stock-market exchange.

Re: Open Letter to Turbine
Strongly support this for both PVMP and PVE, both sections of this game are disgustingly flawed due to nothing short of INCOMPETENCE AND LAZINESS on the part of Turbine.
Should also post this in a more dev-read section to make sure that they read it.Last edited by Squelcher; Jan 19 2012 at 11:45 AM.

Please, don't forget, if you cancel your sub, just do their survey and say you want PvMP improving, and hope they still check it. We may one day get our point across!
