Noooooooo!!! Toggle skills that are mandatory on are bad! They don't make good game-play at all.

I'd rather have a +30% buff that is applied to the Rune-Keeper when dropping the rock. The problem is that with the rock you have additional game-play. If the rock is killed you loose the bonus. The rock can tank etc... Simply giving +30% to RW for a minute comes dangerously close to the old CV: "We need to drop the rock once a minute to get the best pay-off from RW".

Perhaps tie that bonus to some kind of "bubble" effect. While the Rune-Keeper has the bubble you get +30% to RW. Pop the bubble and the bonus is gone. Having the RW bubble would prevent other bubbles from applying (WoE/EoE/Mini bubble) and the amount should be equal to the morale on the rune-stone (~1.5k). Dropping a new rock does not refresh an existing RW bubble and you don't get the RW bubble if you have another bubble active.

Or better yet... Fix the rock! Make it float in thin air if you must!

my heal bug is worse then ever now. I dont know if you "fixed" it. Yet the situation is happening more times to me then before. I spent a lot of money on turbine points for the update that I cant even play. I have crashed 3 times yesterday and was not able to reconnect for an extended amount of time. I am losing patience. Also it has been happening for a month for me. Is there a person who you can contact that can reboot your characters connection? I get blown off when i bug report it on another toon and all bug reports to support.turbine are usually a generic copy paste suggestion from the faq list.

Just wanted to revive this old sob, cause I'm now enjoying a nice, calm evening of "Cleaning up old connection..."

AFE + RW this time.
Note to self: Never have two healing RKs in the same group.

I hope I don't get the bug again. I thought maybe they fixed the "wl bug" with U6 and that is what caused this mass sever lag/hiccups

Just wanted to note...got the bug again today during normal heal rotation in raid. Skill lock immediately spread to half the raid. THIS HASN'T BEEN FIXED!

I thought this thing had been fixed but I got the bug tonight healing draigoch and it spread to the other rk.

My raid group got this bug about 2 weeks ago when we were killing the last Saruman clone in phase 5. Very annoying! There were 3 rks and no minstrel in the raid. 1 rk and 1 cappy were healing in each group. During phase 5 the 3rd rk stop dpsing and help healing the group and that group got this bug when one of them start using rousing word and both rk, the cappy and one hunter couldn't use any skill including the ring skills all locked up so phase 5 restarted after we kill the last clone. All fates entwined were not activated by all rk so the problem must be caused by rousing word skill. We waited for one hour but no GM responded. Devs fix the bug please.

It's an aura bug. Rousing Words is an aura with an 8 second duration. Any class with an aura skill (Warleaders, Hunters, Captains, for example) are subject to this bug. I hadn't seen any reports in a while; I'm surprised that it's come back up again.

I've received this bug couple times in the last two weeks. It happens more frequently for me when there are 2 healing RKs in the same raid.

Edit: When I made it back in game I was informed that the other RK, captain, all the hunters, and the champ had the exact same issues for not being able to use skills and when crashing client to get back in were stuck at cleaning up old connection screen.

Tonight during Draigoch (Evernight server, 22:04 GMT+1) I encountered the bug.

Used All Fates Entwined and Rousing Words, then shortly after (at least, I think, was a bit of a hectic raid)
I could not use any of my skills. Another DPS RK in my group had the same problem.

I tried to relog once, then the second time I got past the cleanup, third time the game finally logged in.
When I got back into the raid (even after the system kicking me from it) 2 members still had my AFE buff on them, permanently.

First time for me to have encountered the bug, would rather never see it again

Had this happen in a t1 lightning run with me and a kinmate. we had 2 rk healers in one group (dunno why..) both had AFE up and seemed to hit RW at pretty much the same time, also bugged with all the current buffs we had on ourselves (heals, DNF to storm, etc) so we could move around and got a bunch of absorbs, the raid still managed to beat the boss because for everyone RW, T3 writs,2 rk stones, and AFE bugged on the whole fellowship which after we all looted and left the raid the heals were still on everyone. mainly bugged on the other rk though, he spent the next 15-30m clearing up connection and i got to run around with about ~400 HPS.

Just happened to me in the second phase of Saruman healing. I wasn't using AFE and I can't remember if i was using rousing words when it froze. I was just stuck unable to cast a skill. We had a second RK healer and he bugged out too. Not only is it irritating that it bugs out but why does it have to take so long to clean up the old connection.

On RK glitch #3 for the day. Go me!

One thing to note: The captain in my group had connection problems before we started the raid. (Had problems logging in). He was stuck in Last Stand, not a bad state to be in :P

Had a weird bug yesterday.

Fire traited and have MF CD leg maxed, = No CD on MF. Correct stone equipped yet i was getting a 10s CD on MF, relogged then it worked no problem

A captain and I (minstrel) had this one last week. Someone leeroy'd one of the pulls in ToO Lightning. I was the last to die after feigning death and the mobs ignored me for a little bit afterward. I started leaving instance and halfway through they got me. After being rezzed I noticed someone's dread removal skill didn't get me or the captain. I also saw we both missed each of our groups token pops despite being in range. We figured we were bugged so we restarted clients. It was easily 15+ minutes at the cleaning old connection screen. Both of us had the problem. When I finally got back in I didn't even feel like playing, so we finished that wing and I logged to go read instead. Pretty frustrating.
