Especially now since the lootbox drop rate is decreased, maybe people will finally walk through the gates of Orthanc again.
Really shocking to see the ratio of First Age weapons found from lootboxes versus First Age weapons earned from raiding.

Set Sail For Fail completed ToO Lightning T1 (impressive right? ) with the help of Hargorin (Edhel Annon), Latica (Sentinels of Hope), Orton and Swiftarm (... forgot the kin...) and perhaps others (yes, 11 people and their kins is hard to remember). Amongst the group were some veterans and quite a few first timers, I believe. Yippy! Lets get more people raiding, shall we?

As I said, I don't have pic, but you'll have proof when I'm running around with that nice helm and the lovely heavy shield

Last night on a late run set up by the Portuguese Empire the old man was beaten.

That old man is a wizard and we are only elf, men, sturdy dwarfs and some odd adventerous hobbits!

And i am wondering howmany of those 10 groups got a cloak clasp?

I know from Austerius and Co that out of 3 runs we only got 1 cloak clasp.

And congratulations to all groups who completed a wing or saruman himself!

No clasp or WSoEK on last night's run

WSotEK only drops on t2, as far as clasps go we've managed to get two of them, one before the update and one after

Thanks to the guys that helped us do this for the first time on a late Wednesday night try: Vento, Heimwall, Snogo, Dahmer, Oddzy and Hellhunt

I completed Acid, Shadow and Fire&Frost for now but always with a PUG.

Big thanks to those vets, that take newbies in their group to show them how its done.

Yup, the pugging thing is picking up steam, which can only be good. Sadly, pugging is often so excruciatingly slow due to lack of DPS. And that lack of DPS isnt even because of equipment difference, but mainly because people need much time acquiring targets, positioning themselves and then blasting away.

Now, if Turbine hadnt made that stupid Draigoch so reliant on Burglars, we´d see a lot more of those pugged as well.

So whats the deal with T2 progress on Withy? Seriously its been almost 4 months since release and only 3 kins/groups managed to do it?(and unfortunately only 2 wings) Idk how other kins do, but for Czech Royal Knights i can say we try really hard in Lighting, almost immediately after our first Saruman kill we started our approach on t2, we managed trash quite quickly but now we struggle so much on Kalbak

We started with single tank tactic, but it showed up that for us 2 tanks are more suitable. We managed Lighting chain nicely, don't have problems with electricity nor dps...but somehow we cant beat him up. Theres always some terrible tiny mistake which leads to fail. Out best attempt so far is i believe 300k of Kalbak's morale, when Lighting shalter killed us(with tank down atm).

I just want to know how other Kinships do and where they find the biggest problem out there?

And for Anya and co. and DI, how are you guys doin in Acid/Shadow? Ive heard there were some tries already but with no success

P.S.: For kins who didnt try yet or struggle at trash, theres nice video guide for whole wing in "Gameplay-> Skirmishes and instances" part of the forum

Well we had about 5 attempts on Acid t2 and although we manage to do the trash without whipes we struggle with the adds on the boss... we just can t find a tactic that would work for us. Our best try was the boss down to 150k morale.

If you want info on how to do the boss on lighting you can contact me in game TheKid/Alkaya but you r going to have to do it with one tank :P

We (austerius & co) are working on F/F T2, trash is going pretty well nowadays only we lack the bit of luck at the bosses (for example, 1 boss to 200k morale and then main tank DC's (we still love you farboo!), I am sure we will get them down very soon .

We'll get there snake. The frequent DC's of all players means we get less chances to attempt the boss. It's not all about the boss though, it's fun to watch any raid when it's going well, everyone working together is quite rare, especially for inter-kin raid. I look forward to the next attempt.... Tonight?
