    Very nice Hispania, congratulations!

Also a note to Austerius and co. you guys are doing really good, and you have the tactics nailed down (yes, really!) to complete Fire & Frost tier 2, the only thing missing is better gear for individual characters, keep up the good work guys!!

    Aus and Co.

We completed 3 wings at t1 yesterday for the seals to allow people to purchase more armour. T1 is almost a breeze now, such a good group.

Rep jewellery is my biggest failing point, however i'm only on for ~3hrs a night and that is spent in the raids so I just haven't the time to gain the rep. I'll get there, it's just much slower

Very nice guys, well done. Farming for seals and unlocking the armour is an essential step before climbing the Tower of Orthanc on Tier 2, but once the grind is over; the fun can begin.

    Thx!

If you reach 400k-500k on the boss without using the big cooldowns you have it done. Just use fellowship heart, oathbreakers, in harms way + last stand and it should go down. If you need any tip feel free to ask.

Today we wiped in F&F T2 with 15k morale left on the second giant . Hope next week goes down...

Orthanc T1s including Saruman is way too easy, while same time T2 is to hard for most people on Withy because it's hard to have 12 people skilled and geared enough with enough good tactic to make it through.

I feel inclined to agree with that. With the recent nerf of Saruman t1 is almost boring at this point (and yes, there's still no good champ loot). On t2 it's a whole different story though. Once you get some of it down it's easy to do but the disparity between the wings is just insane. Lightning is by far the easiest wing on t2 (not to mention you always do challenge on it), F/F t2 isn't impossible but a lot harder than lightning and Acid is even worse.
i think most of the groups that have beaten a full t1 should be able to beat Lightning t2c without any problems and some might be able to do F/F t2 as well but VERY few if anyone on WW are able to beat acid t2. The difference between the wings is just too large imo... as well as very little good loot in Orthanc as a raid

Congrats JoeSo and those in CRK that did it. Our group is struggling to get enough time as a group just now although I'm hopeful we will complete soon one of the T2 orthanc.

What was your tactic on the final boss? I've been led to believe that a kiting Minnie for the grims is the best way, but we're struggling with that.

    Re: WW Orthanc raid progressions

Well we managed it with two tanks(one kiting fire and one tanking frost) with cappy pulling off grims from frost giant and sending them to kiting tank who challenges them.

Have to say we had a little bit akward class setup but i believe 5 minutes is pretty nice time with only one dps 1st ager and no revealing weakness mark

Feel free to contact me (Christiniel) in game any time, i would be glad to give you some hints.

And question for others: We can say that Hispania and CRK are now even and i personaly expect some progres in rest of T2 wings(for CRK i suggest Shadow(qm due to lack of 1st ages), because Acid is not our cup of tea even on t1)

But what about Anya and co.? Did you guys call it off? I frankly believe youre still a lot above us and who else should clear another wing when not you? It would be shame for Withy ending RoI with not even more then half end game raid completed.

Anyway good luck to all of those who is active in t2 orthanc in upcoming months

    Thanks for the tips! +rep

That was the tactic we have been running originally but now switched the second kiting tank to a kiting mini. Unfortunately that's me and i'm AWFUL at getting the agro and even selecting the target. I will be feeding back your success to the group in the hope they take me out of kiting duties and we go back to the original plan!

No, we didnt call it off. We went through a nasty period of having to replace one spot over and over again, coupled with scheduling conflicts from family and work. Being 12 and only 12 people is a boon as well as a hindrance. Doesnt help that we sit in 3 different time zones.

So, Ladies and Gentlemen, after the demise of DoH/DI and us slacking, the race is still on!

IMO next one to do is acid t2c. Shadow t2 may be easier (I still doubt it), but gives worse loot

Thank you to the 4 that are not normally part of the group, you gave a bit of insight into the tactics where we were perhaps a little off.

Exams are over, holiday is here!!!!! Legends of the Rohirrim sent Saruman screaming like a little girl back to his momma !!

After a 2 and a half hour blitz through the wings a flawless Saruman battle followed . Old man never knew what stormed his tower :P

Some are ready for Rift . I recon by Rohan we will have at least 10 new raid ready players from the new flux of players. 80% have played other mmos before so things go well, had some pretty perfect first time GB, even better than when i was a newb ;-).

Usually our acronim springs confusion :P. LotR = Legends of the rohirrim, LotR = Lord of the rings, LOTRO = Lord of the rings online. Soon well get a citation to court for copyrights infringement LOL.

It was under my post and Lotr is usually traslated as Lord of the rings in this game..

Anyway, I answered behalf of any kin that zrinko was being refering to and I still give my best wishes to anyone who's still trying..

LotR or LOTR no matter how u type it, still will make everyone translate it as game title not a kin title, unless they know what you wanted to say and to whom.

And Haras, all of my kinnies did it before you. Doesnt matter how, even it's better if it was pug, since pug should be harder then kin run, and whoever think differently, have bad kin raid members then and should stick to alliences or do pug's.....Even t2 is now pugable aswell, well ofc never on withy, but thats another matter, maybe u do it first, rohan is close do. Good luck

    Summer Raid Team

The Summer Raid Team, organized by Itwasjustadream, Destino and me successfully cleared all 4 wings on t1 in its 1st week óf existance.

More than 30 characters participated from more than 20 people, respresenting at least 10 kinships of withywindle.

A job well done to everybody who participated and contributed. Alot of new players and alts earned some shiny new armour this last week, me included.

And a big thanks to all the more experienced players, who helped out with leading some part of the way. Leading a raid is about 11 times harder than learning it, especially in a PUG. Fralin did a great job voiceleading the last two wings today.

After the reset, we gonna have a sniff at T2 wings before trying Saruman at t1.

To say it in 6 letters: PUGFTW

    Did you sniff ended well?

You are lucky to have Fralin teaching people like dream how to move in instance but again 30 chars and a week to complete something that 6 men people with basic team work and gear can finish in 1 night is funny. Now when Rohan is close, maybe dream-team (a group of 30 made to do job of a 6+) can try doing Saruman? .....XD

I would rather recomend you guys collect ingame gold and hire someone a-side who will help you, for example you kick dream and 5 of his friends from raid pug and add 1 decent player to replace them, will make pug more reliable, stronger, faster, better (why this sound so familiar)....And sniffing will go better (as planned i would add)

    Cheers!
