Thread: Gilrain lottery: edition V

Hey all,

The winner of the last lottery asked me to organize another one, so here you go Wyn!
I lost the previous posts (since they're on CM forums), so I'm typing this out again. I'll explain the rules and make sure your precious gold is handled with the greatest care.

The idea:

There will be 100 (one hundred) numbers in total. Each player (player, not account, not character) can buy up to 5 (five) numbers for 1 (one) gold each. On the 19th of january, which is next thursday, there will be a roll to determine the winner at 8 GMT.


The rules:

• The maximum amount of numbers you can buy is 5 per person. Do not let other people buy numbers for you and don't use two different characters either.

• I will sell you your numbers according to when you posted in this thread. Say number 1-45 are sold already. Two players buy another 5 numbers each, so player 1 will get 46-50 and player 2 will get 51-55. Letting everyone pick their numbers would be chaotic and inconvenient, so it's a chronological method I'll use.

• To participate, you must do three things.

1. Send 1-5 gold to NOXGRIM, depending on how many numbers you buy.
2. Post in this forum announcing you will take the next x numbers.
3. Wait to be added to the list and cross your fingers.

• The prize will be x gold if the roll is on the announced date, x being the number of total numbers bought.

• The prize will be 100 gold if the lottery is sold out. If this happens, the roll will happen with various people of the list that are online and randoms. I will let someone else do the /roll within hours if the lottery being sold out.

• I will screenshot the roll and will ask others to do the same. The winner will be mailed the money shortly after the roll.

I've done 3 editions so far, which all went flawless. I will stick to my word and I'll follow the rules above. I will not spend your money on a private kinhouse *shifty eyes* If you do not agree with the method or don't trust me with your money, then do not join in. There are many oldschool players on Gilrain who can confirm the previous editions went smooth.


I will not edit the first post. The rules will remain unchanged and by participating, I assume you agree to them.

Additions to post 1:

• Something I forgot to add in the previous post. Make sure I know which forum account is linked to which character. I need your main's name for list.
• If we reach 100 numbers before thursday, I will add an acorn to the reward. This means I'll be your slave for an hour, basically :P. Keep in mind I'm still leveling.

• To creeps: You will have to join in on freep, but I am able to give you 50g of the prize money on creep and 50g on freep, if you wish.
