I'm glad to see all of these fixes coming in and it's nice to see the feedback from Sapience and Celestrata (thanks you two!). At least it shows that somebody is listening and both are a step in the right direction. As for the other issue, I'll reserve my comments for the Store Feedback thread...
I don't know about that one specifically, but I do know that the issue with the German combat log only displaying string table errors has been fixed.
No, I mean the translation of the minstrel tooltips, not the combat log. Can you ask for this? I mean it's as important as the combat log! If I've to switch to english only to read what effect a specific skill has!?
Turbine: We are working on translation issues. We do care about the problems! It sometimes takes a bit to get these issues fixed.

He already said: "I don't know about that one specifically, but I do know that the issue with the German combat log only displaying string table errors has been fixed."
Auf Deutsch (sinngemäß): "Darüber weiß ich nichts Genaues, aber ich weiß, dass das Problem mit der deutschen Kampflog mit seinen string table errors gefixed wurde."
On tuesday you'll see it in the patch.
Any fix on the into bugged quests for man and hobbit race?
Not wanting to derail this thread, but I created a new character for Man and Hobbit in the last couple weeks, and did not experience a bug, I got all the goodies that I normally get. Don't know what's causing the bug you experience, but it's not universal.
Will the pillars at both bridges at TA be unaccseable to freeps on their horses, which to be honest would be impossible in real life as the weight of the horse would mean the momentum would mean the horse with metal shoes would just carry on sliding off the edge and fall off.

are the issues update 5 brought being fixed? slower run speed than before U5, attack speed and skill application are very slow on reaver, if not with this patch I hope you are looking into fixing this.

Don't count on it rugba, they don't care. Just as you've seen, they consider the fix making fireworks tradable more important the the mitigation fix.

Drama much?
What would you have them do? have all the staff stand around until the one guy working on the project that you deem "most important" gets done? Or should 100 people be standing around one desk working on the same fix?
It's just like any other business, while one is in the back making the burgers someone else is taking the orders and yet another is filling up the napkin holders.......now napkin holders aren't as important as the burger, it still has to be done and there is no sense in having an employee doing nothing or standing around watching the cook make burgers.
Besides, who said they didn't fix that before they fixed the fireworks?
Can we get a yes to fixing Tracking an Old Goat as well please?
I understand your point, but so far as I know that deed/quest chain isn't "broken" from Turbine's perspective.
From a player perspective it doesn't so much need a "fix" (though expanding the "hot spots" might be considered to be one) as it needs an alternate path to completion.
So...all in all, I wouldn't look to a patch to "fix" the problems with Tracking an Old Goat. I would look--at the earliest--at Update 6.
(Note that I am not in any way arguing that this deed/quest chain *doesn't* need changes, just that the changes that are needed don't fall within the normal parameters of a patch.)
I think they ought to fix Tracking an Old Goat just to be nice. I've heard more than one completionist say they're leaving the game cause this is the only deed left on their log. As a semi-completionist, I can feel some of their pain.
I'd love to rage-quit over it myself, cause I think it would be fun, but alas, I still have other deeds on my log. Mostly cause no one on Gladden knows how to pug Helegrod... LOL
Spiders in V1Pre-B13: 8-legged menace. B13: 8-legged bait. B14: 8-legged trap... no more! B15/MoM: 8-legged *splat!* Spiders in V2B7: We cope. B8: FotM? B9: 8-legged menace. Spiders in V3B3: Mourning for my hatchlings.
I haven't seen any information about armor in the store. Link please? thanks!
The thread was quickly buried in the Lotro Store Feedback forum. Players and the MMO sites consider this big news, but Turbine does not want it discussed in the General Discussion forums.
You choose why:
a) they just want nice and tidy forums to benefit all of the readers, or
b) it benefits ($$) Turbine if fewer people read the thread (and the uproar over this decision), and there is no discussion of this major policy change in the General Discussion forum.

Okay... How do you think it could be "fixed" that entails repairs to broken coding? Anything beyond that is a developement effort, not a fix. Expanding the hot spots would aid those that haven't done it yet, but would do nothing for those who are stuck with an incomplete deed...and that would be a "fix". Setting up an alternate way to complete the deed is what you want, but that isn't a "fix" as the code isn't "broken" in any meaningful way (annoying as all git out, opaque in the mechanics, but not "broken").

No clue about coding, honestly. By fixed, I guess I meant something changed so those that are stuck with the deed for whatever reason (and an awful lot of peeps seem to be in this boat) can get rid of it. Like, say, make it so a scroll or something showed up in peoples' bags that when they right clicked it, the deed would complete. I just assume there's some computer magic that can be made to finish off the deed, but perhaps that is a wrong assumption.
Maybe even make the quest guy available to others besides just the original whistle-user, but that prolly wouldn't help everyone.
Course, if they'd just make it so that deeds could be cancelled like quests, all the irate people that don't want to have an uncompleteable deed on their logs could get rid of it. Been asking for this little deed log gem for years now...
There are a lot of fixes going in on the next patch. Too many to really list here, so I'll leave it to the patch notes to take care of it. But some of the highlights are fixes for master looter, correcting "enable movement assistance," and making fireworks tradeable once more.
