Hi all. Just got the full set and was 1st on my server to get the item to make the neck.
Below is a pic of my char with the neck,3 and 5 set bonus of the thamen set
How do you get 10k block rating? O_o or is the missing power the proof you just used some HoTs for block rating?
They've got to be buffs. I don't think it's possible to have a nice rounded set up like he does and have 10k block rating on top of that. Besides... you can see him in combat with the target dummy on the bottom left of the screen. :P
Well, I have ~5k block unbuffed
He's using the gems or runes with block, might and partial block+parry mitigation on both LIs, that's another 1.2k block
He has 250 more might than me, thats another 1k block
He's most likely using Shield Mastery since he has the mitigation buff from it, that's another 2.5k block
He probably has Balance of Man trait (my Wrd is an Elf -_-) for another 260 block.
That combined should give 10k, so it's quite possible to get.

No doubt buffed... which is not what they were asking. He he. Shield Mastery is a buff... so you cannot include that in your numbers if they are asking for unbuffed. Unbuffed would include things such as relics... just not from 'buffs'. My Warden has 6,459 Block unbuffed. 10k is very achievable with buffs.

who started this thread up? anyway yes the pic was very old before 6.1 but it was nice to see me before and after. This is me now and nothing hasnt really changed. You grind hard for stangard rep and the only big difference is the boost from the update rather than gear etc
I know your Warden and know your setup is working out for you, but I dont like the rather low inc healing rating :/
I might have an advantage though as I still use the LI gems with +520 tact miti, 1500 inc healing and 102 icpr, they are awesome imo.
I also went for the 20fate, 510 tact mastery and 510 crit crafted relics for extra heals and crits on heals, 60 vitality isnt much of a loss imo compared to 2-5% extra outgoing heal and 2-5% extra crit.
At 5,275 my incoming healing is 20%. The cap for man is 30% and other races is 25%. I would think of my inc healing as average than low and yes those t9 relics are good and sadly i decon them by accident. That being said they are no longer in the game and there are not allot of options for increasing inc healing. I can increase it by 6%(rounding it up) via relics and an extra 1% via gear. A total of 7% and the trade off is less parry and evade are the noticeable ones. Currently my setup is working great for me and it got me thinking how good is inc healing now with the state of the warden?
Incoming healing increases the morale which is healed. We can say its not really needed for 3/6mans t2 since we can solo some of its bosses and if aggro is not an issue due to our self heals. When it comes to 12mans we can solo draigoch, skirmishes are easy which leaves us to Orthanc t2. While its a must have for orthanc there are some attacks that will 1shot or soon kill you if you are not fully healed or you are slow to react but we can counter these attacks with NS and DC even if its only once. Its just my view but inc healing is not as important as it was since 6.1.

Good points. My incomming heal ratings isn't capped but it is good enough. I think it is just shy of 20% but I have had no problems this far. By the sounds of it I am in the same boat though. I can get more incomming heal rating but I would be sacrificing too much for an extra what, 5% heals? I'd rather stick with my current build and avoid the attacks all together hehe.
Very nice build by the way! The most complete Warden set up that I have seen to date. Kudos.

None of the pieces here are Thamen, except maybe some cosmetics... But don't know how it shows in gear window.

The only change I'd propose for your setup would be to swap to the Draigoch helmet - 122 vita, 1300 inc healing and finesse. Obviously it's a matter of preference, but I'd take some inc healing over a bit of might and morale.
I agree that for everything but ToO T2 this discussion is completely over the top, they're easy for both guards and wardens if their gear is decent.
I've tanked Saruman T2 twice now, and I'm certain that my extra incoming healing works out nicely as I have plenty of time to build heals and BPE through gambits.
