an idea when you outnumber the opposing side that will promote action
Put your backs away from npcs....... this goes for both sides
Or even try swapping to the other side for 20minutes to help tilt the momentum and then swap back. I understand perma freeps or perma creeps wont do this. Just offering it as a suggestion.
Im just sick of this attitude on windy noone tries to fix anything they just want to blame it on turbine.
Lets grow a pairas a server before more vets leave.

I feel ya Nug ... and i can already tell that if people start responding to this post people will blame freeps and others will blame creeps, and some will just plain blame turbine *if you blame turbine why do you play anyways?*, I cant enjoy creep/freepside with this stuff going on, if im creepside i here it in the tribe grps ... if im freepside I hear it from friends, stars dont matter anymore ... lately ive seen freeps stay in ec or on stab when they outnumber creeps by a few sometimes 2 to 1 *dont blame ryu and lush* ... sorry about the juggleing

This server is going to die off as is. There are obvious times of...awful action...because of numbers and whatnot. BUT. I just had to rage log, because of what was happening in the moors two minutes ago. Freeps outnumbered creeps, and were pushing OC. Fair enough. The heals were ridiculous. The group of 9 that I was attempting to lead, couldn't do anything. It's whatever. I don't blame the freeps. My point is...that there aren't any vet creeps left. The average rank of a creep is like rank 4 or 5 on our server. That raid had an average of rank 8.5, and yet...we couldn't dent the freeps. The lack of following, and inability to coordinate attacks/switch targets...was embarassing. This server is doomed, because the creep-side of action will always be sub-par at best.
The fact that I do more damage, and die less when grouped with Lush alone...just goes to show, that duo action caters high ranks like me, much more than raiding does....at least on Windfola. And because of that simple fact alone...RvR fights will RARELY occur, and will cause the moors to turn into a one sided zerg, almost every single night. It's depressing. I have the knowledge, I have the experience, we had the right class setup, but we couldn't do anything tonight against those freeps. It's not the freeps fault. If blame was to be put on anyone, it belongs to VVV, who singlehandedly doomed our server to a low-ranked creep playerbase since 2007.
History is a funny thing.
If I can grab Lush and Zuluk and run through a keep, plowing and destroying everything in my path, over and over again, for minutes on end, I will. It's a hell of a lot more fun then trying to get a raid to do it. As the entire LoTR story line shows....stealth can be much better than brute force. Guess i'll keep to the trio/duo'ing I'm so enjoying, and ignore the raiding when it's necessary.
Been toying around with the idea of leaving the server myself. Not sure on that. Don't know if I want to stick around with this game as hard-core as I do now, or not. Juggling with the idea. Haha. *shrug*
Re: an idea when you outnumber the opposing side that will promote action
I did try to do just what you said...yesterday. Freeps had creeps pushed back into OC hard so I logged off my burg and logged my WL. Mapped to OC, started out-of-group healing and sat there for 20 minutes to see if the creeps would group up and push back. Not a single invite or anything so I figured my WL was pointless and logged off. I'd gladly play creep more often if creeps grouped up more

Start a group then, more folks need to step up instead of logging on for a few then logging back over and saying they dont group. Did you try to start and lead a group? If not then your just as bad as the ones that didnt invite you. Not trying to bash but it is what it is after these past years of some of us leading creepside until we are just plain sick of the game.

Meanwhile, I've been freeping a lot on BW and it's a blast :P We'll have 35 freeps on and have the ON buff, it's great. Raid v Raid happens at intervals throughout the day as well as small group stuff. High pop server is just where it's at.

I think you missed my point, I was responding to what Nugg said about swapping over to try and balance numbers. There were definitely creeps in groups..GROUPS!!!! I fail to see why creeps won't mass group to maximize focus fire/healing to provide a better fight. Some people like to solo or stay in small groups, that's fine it's what they prefer but it still puts more strain on creepside in general.

The same is true of freepside as far as the lack of grouping/out of group coordination and cooperation goes. The only difference is that the creep community is generally more inexperienced and freepside is generally more easymode. So I guess in general, PvP on Windfola is generally in a general sort of sense pretty terrible.

Is everyone on BW trying to have sex with you like everyone in the Righteous is?
Re: an idea when you outnumber the opposing side that will promote action
Just to stop this whole 'Windy has no ranked creeps' thing, there are hours each night when the few freeps out are getting camped to death by up to 18 creeps including warg packs of 6+ ganking anything that moves, with the majority of creeps out in that 18 being blue ranks or green. So there are plenty of ranked creeps out there, they just aren't coming out when the freeps are out in numbers, they are often easymoding creep side and farming when it's safe. Then logging when the freeps start to get their act together.
I've been out there a fair bit at those hours lately and we've been trying to push into ranked creeps in NPC's while outnumbered.

You sound new here. Freeps are the easymoders atm. Try playing Creepside and come back here with your nonsense.

you hit the nail on the head Nug.
people reading this post need to take account for this example and spread this to others, because people follow.

Been there, play creep side. Am I super ranked, no, have I pushed a defiler up to moderate ranks, yes.
I wasn't talking about individual class balance being easymode. I was saying that only logging onto your creeps when there are half a dozen freeps out, and 18+ creeps is playing on easymode. As some people seem to have been playing their creeps like that lately. When numbers get close to even, I've been typically seeing half the creeps suddenly vanish, leaving the remainder to get heavily rolled for the next 10 minutes till they all log also. But as long as they have 3-1 or better odds, they'll sit there and camp EC/TR revive etc.
In other words, doing exactly what they all complain freeps do the rest of the time. And these are blue & green ranked creeps, so their not some newbie freever who has no real clue.
The ranked creeps are still out there, they just aren't coming out most of the time.

Ehhhhh, kinda actually but it goes both ways. Rez camps are about as irresistible to hunters and ba's as Cons' accent. Nothing much is gonna change there. Pvp is conducive to stupidity all around, so w.e.

You do seem a bit ignorant of the facts. A majority of the ranked creeps don't play freepside. Like, at all. Most don't even have level 65 freep toons, let alone 75s they can bring out to help the action. Finally, I can name many people that play both sides, and few of them will agree with you (for instance, Ara above). And I'm talking people with ranked creeps as well as freeps, here.

From what I've seen, it's exactly the opposite. Some freeps only seem to come out at the oddest of times. I'm not saying there are no easymoders creepside, that only freeps easymode, 'cause then I'd be contradicting my biggest complaint against this server. But to suggest, as you seem to be doing, that a majority of creeps (18+ vs. 6?) are easymoders...
I can't count the number of times I've seen Ryu, Lush, Webbie etc. come out and WHOOSH! Freeps are nowhere to be found. Yeah yeah, I've heard all the "Those guys ruin the action" bulls--t. So what about Lush (who, BTW, is on almost all day) ruins the action? The fact that she's a good healer? And the fact that Ryu and Web, two of the highest ranked players on the server, are actually good at their classes? Well in that case, I think having Glass, Cons, Bru, Karr, Rain etc. out is detrimental to the server's longevity. I say boot all the good players, so that everyone feels safe and secure and can farm each other (or not, considering everyone would suck then).

Mate, ask anyone. A huge percentage of the ranked (i.e. R7+) population creepside has either transferred out of the server or gone on a TOR-break. Freepside has been hit, too, but not to as great an extent. I see so many familiar names on GLFF that seem to be PvE'ing like mad, which is a bit bemusing seeing as U5 came out more than a month ago, and I'd hoped they'd be done gearing up and what not. Ours not to reason why, I guess.

Thats not my experience... at all. Everyone I know who creeps also freeps 8P.
Re: an idea when you outnumber the opposing side that will promote action
Well I don't have a rank 9 yet alone 10 creep, yet I consider myself experienced... maybe y'all just know more cuz you have 1 or 2 ranked creeps? I'm sorry you are unable to experience being a freep.

I have just one rank 9 BA, and no level 75 freeps, but then I've only been playing the game a year.
And maybe I should clarify. I meant that many (if not most) of the ranked creeps don't have active level 75 freeps on the same server that they can flip to to help the action. And I know nearly everyone that plays freepside actively has at least one creep, but few have logged them in more than once or twice in the time I've played. Which brings us back to what Nugg said, no?
