In all fairness, they did leave TA lawn. They went to TA Bridge. I mean give credit where it's due for goodness sakes.
They actually left TA altogether when freeps went to fight them in creep NPCs in LC.... but then outnumbering freeps 15-8 or 9 tops, they ran back and hid in LC until alot of us got bored and logged. While I'm sure some freeps and creeps STILL sat at TA waiting for something to happen. ###, our moors suck...

Aeth's small four person group did leave TA only to be Freep zerged elsewhere. They did this repeatedly yet got zerged over and over again so they moved elsewhere but then the Creeps kept staring at the Freeps who, by the way, were cuddled up and RP'ing in EC.
Then what happens? Some Creeps (like Aeth's group and I along with other solo Wargs) leave EC and do other things (PvE/AFK/roam the Moors/et cetera) only to find the Freeps are now turtled up inside TR.
The problem is not one faction or the other... the problem is this game's lack of population control.
Had a nice discussion in OOC about this today, you can't just make blanket statements like Creeps are at fault...there are reasons why people do what they do...arbitrary animosity for one faction in PvP achieves nothing. And quite frankly...if things are bad, take the initiative and change them. Want the Creeps to get out of TA? Roll a Creep and avoid TA. I think a lot of people could benefit from Creeping for a bit - in a lot of ways.
I had 3 in my group: me, Akrom and Healz. lol I love how somehow I am responsible for everything bad that happens in this game. Thanks for the vote of confidence that I have that much influence.
Had some good fights at good grim - and no, I was not going to pop out of my burrow and solo the 8 freeps camping the area - as much as I am sure they would have loved that. We moved around checking keeps and searching for creeps at wh, tr lawn, ta lawn, oc, lugs and found nothing but sb. Then the 5 hunters that were left went to sit in TR and pew pew and we got bored and left for dinner. Your version (Ocalo) is much more amusing though, too bad it reflects only the 5 minutes of pvp I saw you do all night.
The problem with this server is star huggers and zergs constantly farming. All of the roaming groups seem to have left except for a few like Dimlidir/Archwen/Dodinas/cappy (can't remember the name). Its also really entertaining hearing freeps cry about the ta lawn when they constantly flip Lugs so they can camp OC/Rez and Grams every day. It takes two to tango - want the fights to move, start roaming away from the zerg or ring the doorbell at a keep. Its not rocket science.
PS: That's pretty rich Ocalo considering you won't be seen anywhere in the moors without your bubble buddy. I was semi-afk on the lawn and you ran into the zerg trying to kill me. lawl Had some melodrama with Elmo to deal with at the time you were out. (During LC and TA)
PPS.: got a big laugh at Imuta branding and manhealing in a 1v1 with me at slugs the other night. Nice fight, Imuta...or is it Belefor?

I'm curious where exactly you conjured that statement up from? Because I'm pretty sure I just started playing my captain in the moors again a few days ago after not playing it for hmmmm 3- maybe 4 months and have played with Ocalo twice... You making a totally unfounded statement based from grouping with me twice (is that a crime btw?) is pretty ignorant. But I do intend to keep playing my captain and to keep grouping with Ocalo for what it's worth.
I've only seen him out the past two days with a captain - haven't seen him in moors for weeks unless maybe he has been on another toon that I don't know is his. Ask Ocalo about him and Sunny - they used to be inseparable in Moors which is why I wasn't surprised to see him out with a cappy in tow again. Anyway, I didn't realize that was you, Synapse. Makes sense to me now though.

Just doesn't make sense to me to solo on captain for several reasons...most important because I like to play with him, but also because I enjoy supporting rather than trying to dps a square through a circle hole. Captain is way more fun and more challenging than rk. Having a pocket dps is great.
aside: to the burglar behind lugz today, nice 1v1 (and congrats to the creeps who exercised self-control and let it play out) - but you didn't have to decline to join in the roflstomp when I found myself flat-footed and outa gas as you rode up behind the other freeps. All is fair in love and war, baybee!
aside #2: Aethniniel is a map roamer, easily bored by the repetitive and nauseating that constitute PvMP. Fo'sho!
The time I'm referring to was earlier probably about 7 or so. Aeths group was there as were other creeps. TA was a snooze fest as always. So we decided to pull NPCs at LC and see what we could get. Fight ensued, fought for a while then we wiped. Ok so lets go back and try again. Went back and there were only a few creeps there, pulled some NPCs etc, creeps show up again in numbers so we back off to try and engage them without NPCs all over us. Few little skirmishes happen in the field with both sides pulling back and pushing, 15 creeps on track to our 9 or 10 freeps. Creeps turtled in LC. So instead of it being staring at TA, we were staring at LC. After a point we weren't even going to push up to LC because why continue to engage creeps in their NPCs when they already outnumber us and those NPCs do hit damn hard. As Namorah said, Freeps lost staring contest 2,000,001. But hey right at least its a victory for the other side right?

Yes both sides are at fault for #### PvP. Both sides won't move the fight and there is seemingly no right way to do it because if you raid up and take the map, people accuse you of zerging. If you try to ninja, people give you #### for avoiding actual PvP and just PvEing. So instead, what do we have? Well what you see now. One person rolling their creep and avoiding/telling others to avoid TA isn't going to make a difference because as long as both sides continue to show up there, thats where the fight will be. Both sides need to lose their love infatuations with that part of the map.
WTB no NPCs in the moors.

I think I was at that LC fight briefly... showed up, got zerg'd, got rez'd, got zerg'd. Decided it was time to go back and camp GV. I always seem to be about 5s ahead of the creep zerg which usually means zero heals and being focus fired on. Same sh!t different day.
@Ames - again, sorry about ganking you the way I did that 1st time.. I was testing out a new theory and i'd say it worked ;p But the 2 or 3 1v1's after that were greatly appreciated... especially the last one! Nothing better then when both characters die after a good fight

It was alot longer than 15 minutes as it made up the majority of my time out there which I think started before you were out (could be wrong, I don't pay attention). I can't speak about the rest of the night because I ended up logging to go do stuff. Like I said, both sides are not blameless and alot of the reason I ended up logging was because I'd push up to do something thinking I had backup and find myself alone. I was just as irritated turning and seeing all the freeps rushing to EC. Some of it was a tactical decision since you did have numbers over our group there (as most freeps were sitting at TA still) so freeps were trying to draw people out. It was not MY intention to run back to NPCs but to get creeps to come out. Unfortunately 1 person versus 15 with no backup just isn't a smart move so I pulled back as well. I was hoping for a little more open field stuff near buffalo beach area.
The fact that it turned into yet another staring contest is what irritated me with both sides playing like ####. It was a nice little skirmish with some potential to be a fun fight, but then both sides revert to what they know best. Sad. Can't control what other people do though so eh. The only reason I mentioned you were there was because Patch said your group of 4 got zerged over and over again so I was clarifying which fight I was referring to.
Elmo also did push up and was also killed for doing so after the freeps bailed again as soon as creeps started to push. He was also pulling NPCs so that the other freeps could try and get kills but alot of freeps would follow us out the door as well. Couldn't lose the damn aggro til you hit xr and as I said those NPCs hit hard.
Fact remains, both sides are at fault for the ###### PvP we have. I spend just as much time calling out freeps as I do creeps. Only thing is, you can't see me call out freeps because I do it in OOC and not here. People would get more fights and kills slowly backing up and continuing to fight then they do turning tail and running only to end up dying anyways. Who cares if you die.

Charging head first with the intent to get at least one kill in the middle of a creep ball (and have freeps stare at you from the bridge as you die) is the only fun thing left to do! ^5 Ames!

I mean, it is up to us to get that sort of thing started, right? Or will people not do it because one side or the other is too OP?
Obviously Turbine has failed all of us to some degree so it's up to us to make the best of what we have. Both sides accusing each other of this or that (or trying to belittle a person because they can't add properly ;p) will never solve anything; see politics.
Most of you have been here (The Moors) way longer then I... surely you can dig into your collective memory-banks and figure out someway to bring back a bit of the old. Or is the current situation/coding that bad that we can't even make an attempt of it?
The situation where no one coordinates and/or can agree on anything (or to disagree for that matter) has been the ritual for this server for as long as I've had a toon here (will be 2 years in may).
Nevertheless, it would be neat if people could put aside complaining long enough before during and after to do it.
Oh and by the way, Thragguk, thank you for the fights. Yeah your plan DEFINITELY worked. But we had some fun fights. And yeah Syn, thats pretty much it
I'd be willing to do a big open field fight, I tried organizing one way back in the day but that was years ago and there was little interest. Maybe we could try something like this again, I'd be up for it. We could definitely make an attempt at it. Its a matter of organization etc. Itd be fun if we could get willing creep participants.

YES! So tired of pew pew fights where I've got nothing to do but rename my pets and send them in.
We actually had a few good fights with TT there, got wipped but was a lot of fun. Lets all drop the stars, you get less ren/inf and no one else cares how many stars you have but the other side.
For the love of all that is holy and good stop the OC - Rez fight. We are all to blame. If things are out numbered put down a camp fire and lets 1v1 each other or move it somewhere where there is ground in between.
Creeps, stop being snobs and work with each other. We lost some creep leaders and I think your main problem right now is organization and working together. Last week we were doing the grams flip flop, I just ran around solo to the back of your mass and picked off everything in the back without retaliation. No creeps even supported the ones in the back who were only 12feet away!!
Same with freeps work together, anticipate and learn the behaviors of the people around you. If a heavy pushes then he has the FF, it's safe to move in. Hunters move in even if you can pew from range, make it look like a push. We don't have to group to act like one. Don't form superfluous raids, only raid when you have too, or when it is in keeping with good pvp.
Thragguk - your one of my favorite creeps out there, keep up the good work and teach the others what good and fun pvp is like.
How I hate one-sided accusations. I am not specifically pointing out anybody here, but seriously people, when are we going to realize that more often than not, our complaint threads could just as easily be directed towards ourselves.
As I speak the only action in the moors is a group of 6 or 7 freeps who refuse to leave the general vicinity of south bridge, which would make sense if they weren't facing 2 or 3 solo creeps.
Then I get a 1v1 with Dolenski (nice!), who proceeds to kill me after I stop moving at 9k because my keys locked up. Some things never change in the moors, glad to know that there are constants.

Are you really calling Ocalo out for his 2 man group when in fact you wont solo and tend to have 2 Healers for yourself? You seriously need to look in the mirror before making that statement and one other thing Ocalo has been out alot the last few days you'd actually have to leave your hiding spot to see this.

I unlike yourself dont have a pocket WL/Defiler so I unlike yourself die alot and retreat when i can unlike yourself your long gone.
Secondly you werent there from the start when we fought in the creeps npc(orcs,spiders) and were outnumbered but hey you know all.
I'll gladly push and take a death but i wont go out of my way to give anything to creeps who always run,fight only when CDs are up or go out of my way to get zerged by them.

Yup, it sucks. I just play to hang out with my friends and have fun. When it ceases to be fun anymore I'll know its time to move on. If people should be calling anyone out, its Turbine.
