I have been playing in the moors fairly regularly for about 9 months now - whether that's new or not, I'll let you decide. And I'm not making any far reaching judgment on Kalioth, I am just saying what happened yesterday and how he played, which in my opinion, was a fresh change from what is too often the case with this zone.
BTW - I made an error in my prior post. Meverdiel was running into group of freeps (I mistyped creeps) and fighting to the last.

A WL running to a group of you, probably getting bubbled and spam healed, is the same thing as a Cappy hitting LS and running in the middle of Creeps while getting bubbled and spam healed. You were getting farmed, you are just too new to know it.

At least it's pvmp. In fact Rhnyin and I have had the same conversation recently about Kalioth. I disliked him long before most people even knew who he was because he used to reset An and steal him on me over and over when he first created his WL. But at least he fights, unlike the tiring wargs and BAs waiting at stab or even in TA all day and night waiting for someone to pull npcs. Blah, blah, pot/kettle, saved you the effort.

Maybe he can set up more epic TR door farms........errrr epic fights with grima again too. Milt, try another game, you'd be suprised what it does for your blood pressure and general well-being, speaking for myself. I just can't take the moors or this game in general. I've been checking the new zone on my champ, the questing is just mind numbingly boring.

Tried SWTOR, bleh, talk about a mindless grind. You're right about lotro though. I ask myself daily why I bother. It's just habit at this point. That and I can't bring myself to watch the cr@p they call television these days. Wife goes to bed early and I'm pretty bored after the kid goes to bed so, whatever. Most of the time I spend in lotro now used to be spent arguing with people in Usenet, so I guess I'm just waiting for the next big thing in trolling entertainment.
Whoever that kalioth from riddermark guy is, it's not me..... And I dont need to be spam healed to do what I do TYVM, I only get spam heals from "1 Def" if I am about to go into a full raid.

This is either the usual Kalioth stupidity or audacity at work.
Pretty hard to say Kalioth/Meverdiel was the one farming people when he was dying half the time he pushed. Freeps had the #s in that fight, and while it wasn't overwhelming, it was clearly in our favor. I may not be a moors Vet either, and frequently see Meverdiel playing lamely (duoing tank speced with a Defiler, when theres NO grouped freeps and creeps have numbers for ex.), but he started more action and pushed more (and died more) than anyone in the freep raid during the fight that night.
These forums are kinda like a retirement home, back in the day son we would blah blah blah. Credit is due when it is earned. I see Mev enter battles with little chance of winning and pull it off which is pretty decent. He talks the talk most he time which sorta makes you want to slap him but overall he has improved the moors which is what he promised.
What I find amazing is that the old guys managed to play as long as they did on a ity bity map that really has no real purpose. So ./salute to you guys.
Vets, I blame you guys for leaving. Now people think theyre supposed to target bubbled WL's tank-traited the entire time while a defilers in range to actually heal him :X I mean c'mon!
Also, Rpg's in general are grind-to-win. Im surprised you guys didnt realize that.

Grishgashr: Volo? Hes no way not a troll, Spidey may be but no one really pays attention to him

You can't beat ToR for trolling entertainment. Besides being able to say pretty much ANYTHING you want, you can also ./say and ./yell to the other faction. And its loaded with epeen stroking, 20 something WoWtards!!!! Its troll heaven!!! I doubt one beta weekend was enough to show ToR's full potenial, most classes don't even get really fun until 30-40. I still love my Tankasin, without a doubt the most enjoyable class I've ever played....and its not even OP.

Exact same thing grima did on his Cappy. You are exactly correct. New Freeps stupidly target failioth instead of his healer or all the BA's dotting them up. Its called proximity tanking, how soon they forget.

Kalioth from Riddermark is the REAL Kalioth, I don't know who you are. And noob, it only takes 1 Defiler to spam heal a WL to keep them alive. Sheesh, kids these days.

I was with Kal at OC yesterday. Between the two of us pushing into them, we absorbed 90% of their damage output, instead of them just ignoring us and hitting the unprotected targets in the rear. Amusingly, one RK was up front being healbotted by another acting as their tank.. Creeps latched on to him despite solo squshies being in range on the flanks.. lawl

I think it's the least grindy of anything besides valor rank and even that's not nearly as bad a grind as the renown/infamy system in this game. Actually, it's probably going to be it's downfall, since most players have already completed just about everything the game currently offers.

So its gotten to the point where new Creep and new Freeps are just mirror images in stupidity?
