I, (your name here), confess that I am godmoding Free Person. I fully acknowledge that I am overpowered above and beyond my opponent in PVP. I understand that my victories on the battlefield in 1 versus 1 or group situations are attributed to the godmode status of character and has very little (or nothing) to do with my personal skill. I also petition Turbine to create more balance in PVMP by buffing my opponents (Monster Players aka Creeps) to comparable levels of DPS, CC, and defensive skills.

I thought you were supposed to be unkillable on warg in u5, or in general.

I, XXXXX, confess that i am a godmoding freep person. I take pride in 1 shotting the squishiest of creeps at every given opportunity. I will only join battles where I can see that freeps clearly outnumber creeps, giving me a 0% chance of death. I hope turbine doesnt change this balance, else i will quit!

I can beat most Freeps 1v1 on my Warg.

There are some who enjoy beating others, while there are others who enjoy beating themselves~

So it can be done. Skill can prevail even now, and trust me phantom has it. Now without denying mitigations, or some points of adjustment, I ask to those who cannot do the same...why? And should we balance to supplement skill?

Adjustments need to be made, but I utterly deny the overall failure of creeps.

It was before the update, so no outnumbered buff bonus. Both kills were from my warg who was 2k rating at the time, killing freeps who were 2k rating.

Just FYI: Your infamy/renown gained is based off of your opponent's and your own rating. To calculate the base amount of renown/infamy, you simply take your opponent's rating, and chop off the last number. 1900 rating = 190 renown/infamy. 1500 = 150, 1450 = 145, etc. etc. Now, to factor in your own rating, for every 100 rating you are above 1000, you get an extra 1% added to the base, before the dp, relic, outnumbered buff, etc are factored in. So if you're at 1500 rating and you kill someone that is also at 1500, you get 150 plus an extra 5%, so you would get 158 as a base, and then factor in any gain buffs.

If you're 2k rating, the renown/infamy you gain is automatically increased by 10%, and this is before the other buffs multiply it. So in the case of Atoo: 2k rating = 200 infamy, plus the 10% for my 2k rating, which brings the base total to 220 infamy. At the time, creeps had the 5% infamy buff from relics and keeps, and I also had the 10% store dp buff. So 220 x 1.15 = 253.

In the case of Josephues: He had 2k rating also, and so did I during the kill, so we once again start off with 220 infamy. This time, however, the relic buff wasn't up, although I did have the dp buff. So it was only 220 x 1.1 = 242.

With the new outnumbered buff, if it effects gains in the same manner as the other buffs, and not at a different point in the calculations, it should be possible to get 220 x 1.35 = 297 renown/infamy if you're 2k rating and kill an opponent with 2k rating while the dp, relic, and outnumbered infamy/renown gain buffs are all active.

EDIT: Also, these were on my warg, so no pvp set bonus. I guess if you actually wear two of those pieces on a freep, you could potentially get 220 x 1.45 = 319 renown.

What classes were the Freeps?

Was this during the Warg CJ-lock Book ?

Hard to imagine 2 players both with 2K ratings meeting up by random chance...must have been pre-arranged

One fight was just before RoI against Josephues a guard, and the other fight was after RoI against Atoo an LM. The fights were pre-arranged, but they did not occur at CM.

they were both pre-arranged "spars" most likely among friends/kinmates/brothers/whatever

A real-world scenario would result in the losing Star Hugger running to NPCs or HIPSing (if Burg)

The only way to get 5 stars is by avoiding death at all costs.

What?! They actually let you 1v1 them? BS. I deserved to have 2k HRD so long ago, if only I wasn't so nice and killed Seredir that one day in that 1v1... or if Slotho didnt hips from me with me starting at half hp only to kill me outta hips lolz.

It isn't that surprising, they don't lose rating if they die to a guy with 5 stars.

I, (insert name), publically declare that I am a godmoder. I choose the godmode side of PVP due to the fact I have no skill and would be destroyed in 5 moves or less on the other side. I do not want a challenge in PVP but I do want to ezmode my way to victory. So I can feel good about myself. And if I do ever lose a battle then I will flee to the NPCs for help. I hope to add a 297 infamy SS to my collection, however it will likely be a long while given all the factors required to obtain it. First step will be getting back to 2k rating on my warg. Played after some drinks the other night and made some bad choices targeting a member of a raid, all of which switched target to me and blew menup resulting in two deaths.

As far as the speculative assumptions being made: Haters gonna hate.
