Thread: PLEASE HELP W/COOK GUILD:unable to buy feast of harvestmath recipe

When I go to Bess Holewood to purchase the "Feast of Harvestmath recipe" and I put the cursor over it to buy, it says in white " requires: artisan of the guild standing." Then in red it says " requires" supreme cook mastery." Then in white again " requires: supreme cook crafting." So obviously the problem is the supreme cook MASTERY requirement, but i dont understand that cause I have completed all the tiers with the cook crafting, and have max rep with the guild.

It has been broke since Rise of Isengard (Update 4) launched in September 2010. Turbine claimed that it is fixed in Update 5 but it is not.

The problem is that you are not a Supreme Master, you are are a Westfold Master. You needed to buy and learn the recipe after achieving Mastery of Tier 6 before your character is stripped of Supreme Mastery by achieving Westfold Mastery.

One my friends is having job problems in real life because of similar issue. He been applying for Bachelor degree positions. He got both a Bachelor and Master degree. There are not making Master reqs. He is automatically kicked out the running because he is over qualified. A lot of places pay extra for advanced degrees. It is against their policy to give a Master the lower Bachelor offer. So they do not consider Master or Doctor candidates for a Bachelor position to save dollars.

You will have to wait for an update to the Game. Hopefully, it will be part of Update 5, Pstch 1. We will not have to wait another three months for Update 6 to go live.

I have commented on this issue in another thread. It was fixed with U4 Patch 1 - unfortunately it was broken again with update 5.

It will be corrected with U5 Patch 1.
