Thread: How do I learn / obtain "Westfold tailor crafting ability"

Hi

Playing for the first time and just got my lazy hunter to the tailor guild for the first time. I noticed a lot of recipes require the Westfold tailor crafting ability. I`ve tried googling but all I get are wiki item posts requiring the skill, and tried searching forums to no avail.

Could some one please give me the heads up on this please?

Once you have proficiency on the first level of supreme tailoring, westfold will open up.

That's exactly what I was going to say. LOL

Also, if you want to be able to make the top tier guild pattern / recipes you will need the Finished Leather Recipe which is purchased from the Dunlending Quartermaster in Galtrev. You will need to be friend with the Dunlendings to read this recipe which may create a problem for you if you are too low a level to quest in this region. The other option is to either purchase Finished Leather from the auction house or have another character make them for you until you get leveled up.

I was thinking perhaps I hadn't stumbled onto the vendor or something, or it was a rep thing.

Note: the finished leather recipe is a Forrester recipe, not a tailor recipe.
