25 Regenerative Food (Tier 8)
30 Power Potions (Tier 7A)

Was quite lucky I'd say, got 4 Revival tomes.

Loot box level 50-59 I got off an orc in Moria.
1 Burnt Orange Wall Paint

Yeah... that's it. About as bad as just 1 dye.
Granted the key was free (anniversary key) and the box was too (looted from a box I killed), but still I don't like getting such a sad prize.

I know they can't all be big winners, but 1 wall paint...? seriously...?

I'll just destroy all future boxes. Free keys or not, this is disappointing.

yesterday i opened a lootbox lvl 70~75 and got another lootbox inside =D
and the other lootbos gave to me tokens 5% OOC run speed =P

did they lowered de drop of lootboxes?

Last night when I opened a loot box on my level 50 champ it had a Tome of Vitality 2 in it. It also had some experience accelerator items in it, (forgot which ones to be honest).
I was very happy about the Tome of Vitality.

Box inside a box thats an old bug so seems boxes been bugged once again for sure

have 5 keys and no 70-75 boxes....finally got 1 just doin daily river q's for golden token and luckily it had the symbol....its weird that keys seem to drop more often than boxes as you would think since u can buy keys but not boxes ofc maybe thats just my xp so far

I was pretty happy since I sold the Tombs for 40g each.

currently have a level 70 and 2 level 40 boxes but not found any keys during taking a cappy from level 48-75 plus all the killing sprees i've been on with my other alt's. not buying any more keys so i'll kepp hold untill i find one :/

very Good! Finally word gets to the uneducated and helpless. Hope its not far till F2P gets proscribed finally! At some point the authoritys will have to step in to prevent the poor and aged spending all there money for overprized mounts and expansions not-woth-the-name-they-are-bearing.

Just asked in PM ppl got horse/symbol from old boxes which was found before U7 and they had in vault. Does any1 found symbol in newdroped boxes?

Here I am again, after a long absence... no LootBoxes (or Keys) found for a very long time.

Then, all of a sudden: I picked up both a Level 70-75 LootBox and a Sturdy Steel Key, within two days of each other, both in the Great River Region (the LootBox from a random landscape Orc in Haldirith and the Key from another random landscape Orc in The Wailing Hills).

And the contents of the LootBox were:

-- You have acquired [3 Tomes of Continuing Resilience]. (Reduced Item-wear, no Item-wear on Defeat, Duration 1 hour);
-- You have acquired a [Cryptic Heritage Rune of Learning]. (50,200 IXP).

And that's all, folks!

I highly doubt that dev quote was accurate.

Why you ask?

Because I took the risk and bought 5 boxes and saved 2 I had found BEFORE U7 and opened 7 the day it went live. 2 1st ages, out of 7 boxes.

I haven't found a single box since U7 OR been able to afford the stupid high prices they go for on the AH now.

All this leads me too a sad conclusion. That greed is conquering all when it comes to the loot-box loot tables. I say this because after update 6.1 we had a very good chance at actually getting you moneys worth from a store purchased key. In the form of Stat Tomes, Jewellery, etc.

This has ceased. Now it's mostly trashy consumables. Sure you still have a small chance of the other items. But now I hardly ever see or hear of them dropping.

I find this really really sad.

I have opened two lvl 75 loot boxes, one was ok, the other was pure garbage.

Pre-U7:
50 morale pots. I think the label said Tier 7A or something. Kinda meh but useful.

Post-U7:
I got two Legendary Titles: Troll-Bane and Mountain Master. BOTH of which are available from a lvl 57 quest in Eregion. Really? From a lvl 75 loot box? Not very useable either. I think the only giants I've seen at lvl 75 are in an Orthanc wing. Trolls are a bit more common but still. I won't be changing my current title for just for a little extra damage in LL dailies. Worst part is they're bound so I can't even give it to an alt.

The keys and loot boxes were from the landscape. Not something I'll ever spend TP on.

Since the lootboxes started i opened over 15 boxes and the best things i got where about 2 keys and 1 stat tome and 1 mount.

Have finished Saruman on t1 a couple of times and never seen a clasp or a symbol ( yes they dont drop on T1...) funny.

Well my first toon too hit 60 in a while did so last night. And she had the honour of opening 13 Lvl 60 loot-boxes I had stashed...

And the results speak for themselves: We have had a stealth nerf of the loot table.
I say this because pre U7 I was running an average of a jewellery piece and/or a stat tome every 3-4 boxes or so.
Not so any more. And although this sample is very small. It is concentrated. Every box on all my toons from lvl 10-75 have not seen any decent jewellery or stat tome drops since U7...

Results:

13 boxes opened:
Drops per box -
1 x Tome of Vitality IV.
1 x Elegant Erring Of The Hart.
7 x Weapon Title Scrolls. All vendored..
7 x Heritage runes: 1x 50k, 1 x 80k, 2 x 125k, 3x 251k.
2 x Stack of T7 Regenerative Foods (35 in each stack).
1 x Scrolls of Lessor Craft Lore (3 in stack).
2 x Tomes of Swiftness (+5% OOC run speed)(5 in each stack).
1x Pesky Door mouse housing item (Bound).
1 x Morale Potions T7 (25 in stack).
2 x Revival Tomes (2 in each stack).
2 x Hope Tokens (1 Hope)(2 in each stack).
1 x Housing Theme Music - Caras Galadhrim.
1 x Dread Removal Token (2 in stack).

So apart from the Tome and Heritage runes. The rest is trash. The Erring is bound and not suited for a hunter.
Mainly though I'm pointing out that I believe the loot tables have been adjusted downwards from what they were.
I would have happily paid 100tp for a shot at a stat tome or a nice bit of jewellery. But with these odds now.

Opened around 20 boxes, only significant thing was 1 tome of agility III. ~500 gold gone, ~2k tp gone. F__k the lootboxes.

In my opinion there should be some guarantee to get the mount if you've opened more than 15 of these stupideous things. What an epic fail. I can't believe I wasted so much effort into this, all because of that stupid mount, which I haven't even gotten out of it.

I got a lvl20-29 lootbox and a key in a lottery yesterday, opened it and found 4 tomes that give +142 power for an hour (i think) and a red skeleton horse.

Ive opened 141(!) boxes just for that horse and still cant get it. Got 2 symbols on way and i cant believe what mount is more rare than 1 age symbol which is top game raid content. Rohan in less than 2 months and if i want to continue i cant lvl up coz boxes got max lvl 75 They should remove max lvl requirement of them at least. Also loot quality of boxes dropped down slightly after last patch.

Does low lvl boxes drop horse too?????

I'm back too stashing any and all loot boxes I get. I've done this twice now. Both times with good results. Once I get wind that the loot has all gone to garbage I wait until I hear it's good again. Re: my post further up the page

Yes, they do. My burglar got one from a 20-29 box a while back.

Still broken, actually. For several updates now.

I had two 30-39 loot boxes that I never opened because I never bought the key. Now I have a 40-49 box but am still undecided about buying a key. Is it worth it to buy it on the store or should I keep playing and hope the key drops as loot? If so, where do I have the best chance of looting it?
