Any good loot for champs yet? Had a look through the list and found nothing worth doing T2 for in terms of jewels.

There was Aradhrin, Gongloch and Celchol that seemed nice but the first isn't that much better than the Foundry ring, the second isn't much better than the Wrath Unleashed and the last is barely an improvement on the Pits cloak. Nothing I'd grind T2 for.

There is, of course, Belegmegil and Tirithathol, the offhands, but who dual wields anymore?

That's because ToO is anti champ :P All you need is a tank, healers, cpt and hunters :P

The loot from ToO t2 isn't amazing but there's some nice jewellery upgrades for most classes.

There's a really nice off-hand axe from Shadow T2 that has might/morale on it (Methathol, or something like that). If you search the Lorebook, you can find some nice Might-based jewelry that one can safely assume drops from Saruman T2. The Agi/Will folks are certainly getting the good drops from the early bosses, though.

I, for one, dual wield since beta and there is absolutely no logical reason against dual wielding. Just play whatever you feel more comfortable with.

Is it? I can't see a single fight in there that is anti champ (if you take loot out of consideration). Why would a Hunter or RK be in advantage if you are looking to fill a DPS slot? Of course a Champ doesn't fill the CC or healer's role, but then again, how many RKs get to be off-tanks, let alone main tanks?

On top of that, Champs aren't the ones getting one- or two-shot in boss fights - that's the province of RKs, Hunters, and Burgs. Orthanc doesn't feel the slightest bit anti-Champ to me. At least there's no zero ICPR fight in Orthanc.

Once again items were changed.

So please post any Orthanc-loot that was changed by update 6. I already got 3 of them from another thread, but there are probably more.

I guess i'll make a new section for roots of fangorn as well, since the loot is on pair with orthanc loot, so feel free to post screens from there as well.

Lorebook hasn't been updated yet, so the items there aren't correct if they have been changed in-game.

Offhands are about the only thing worthwhile I have seen

They might have got the items before Update 6.

Yeah sorry m8 they changed so not that awesome anymore

Can't be more than a 10% nerf. All the other gear had minor decrements. And even @ 90% of those stats that'd be the best caster ring in the game hands down.

the new versions of those are already in the lootlist, so check it out yourself. They are still pretty strong, the ring wasn't really nerfed, it was changed. Nerfed for healers, buffed for tactic dps.

It finally dropped today. They nerfed it into oblivion. All the morale is gone and replaced with useless Will! More of an RK ring now than a Minstrel one...maybe if it had finesse...

added a bit saruman t2 cm and qm loot today. i hope to get more pieces from other kins the next few days, since there will be more t2 kills now.

i wont add fornost loot, the drops there are just not good enough for the effort.

PS: the shield from bukot t2 was changed, they replaced agility with fate and tactical mastery. now it's probably the best minstrel shield out there, so check it out

Bah, I just noticed that Sidhrin seems bugged (Bukot T1)


It is missing a full slice of stats (as per http://forums.lotro.com/showthread.p...-Budgets-(RoI) )

It should have 7, but only has 6 (64 vitality is two slices of 32). At the moment, it is only of purple quality. Cant /bug it or check in-game right now (servers being down) if there´s a hidden +stat and just the tooltip bugged.

Turbs, give it two parry slices, make it a Warden dream^^! Stuff the incessant block rating on tank jewels. Block is easy enough to get.

Edit: Ah well, just checked and bugged it, no hidden bonus, Sidhrin indeed seems a purple ring in teal camouflage Lets hope it gets fixed before Christmas.
