I am losing my mind.

I wish people would post what creature dropped the sigil and if it was greater or lesser. That way we can know if slugs drop them or not. I mean can you get a greater sigil from a slug, or any sigil at all from one?

Really does depend.

I have a tribe mate that got a sigil from a worm first time around, second time they got the box drop from a worm it was full of shattered blades.

It shouldn't matter. All mobs drop boxes and keys. What is in the box is not determines by what dropped it. I got my first sigil (greater) from a slug, my second (greater) from an ufron.

Got a key farming Man camp near goldie ramp. Someone else on my server also got a key their the same night so might be a hot spot.

I have farmed slugs, bears, dwarves and worms for more then a week, and all I have to show for it is a nice stack of spicy toad biscuits.

it doesn't matter what you kill the box drops from every mob with a random chance neither does it affect what will be in the box, you could farm dwarfs for a week and not get anything while someone else kills 5 dwarfs and gets a box with a sigil.

I'm at 80g now, started at about 2-3g. I am now a zombie. Got three keys though, woo. Buddy of mine farmed for probably 3 hours, got a box off of an eagle, I gave him one of my keys, got a standard sigil. I believe he's the first reaver on ark with skin. I'm pretty livid about how this sh*t works.

I have a quick question about the boxes. Do mobs that don't usually drop loot such as the mine foreman in dwarf camp still have a chance to drop boxes or keys? Thanks for any replies.

Technically we have another reaver skin... but no reaver to wear it

So yesterday I got a box off of an Eagle while in a raid waiting for Golloval to respawn, first box I've actually won, buy a key from the store and get a Greater Sigil, a key, and some footmen badges! It really does seem sometimes the better way is not to farm but just get it whenever you do. (I think I want the Fungus skin but I'm waiting till someone gets a regular sigil so i can trade with them for it )

Thank God, after a week of farming and who knows what thousands of mobs killed, finally managed to get a sigil from slugs, and even a lesser one that I prefered

*patiently waits for compilation of defiler skins* Til then, I'll keep farming. I've been farming every night for the last week with no luck on boxes. Damn my bad luck!

3rd box full of pitiful low budget quest items, very sad. Farmed 3.5k dulls to get this last one, only to get nothing but trash.

Killed more hobbits, elves and dwarves than I care to count and ZERO lootboxes!!!

There is nothing to fix, i am kinda glad they skins are hard to acquire, they would kind of lose their luster if everyone was running around with them.

Being rare and difficult to acquire is good, but a line has to be drawn somewhere.

The issue now is that any F2P Newb can log in for the first time on a Freaver and the first Quest NPC can drop a Sigil

However the Rank 13 Creep who has been farming for 2 weeks still has nothing

The Rank 0 Creeps appearance is now more impressive/intimidating than the Rank 13

They really need make rank a factor in all this...not just pure luck

As rare as the boxes are the Sigil should be 100% for each box

The Greater can be more rare, and players can maybe barter 2-3 normal Sigils for 1 Greater

Wrong. While yes, they should be hard to acquire, it should be through PVMP means that they are acquired. Not through mindless farming of NPCs.
