Order of Elendil is a goal oriented kinship, comprised of mature players who share the common goal of maximizing character development and achievements. Although we are not hardcore, our focus is raiding and we fully believe in maximizing character development, raid often and enjoy challenging game content. We tend to slide more towards the business side of the scale when comparing our style to other kinships.
We are a moderately sized, very active kinship. We have experienced raid leaders in all raiding zones and are completing two Draigoch raids weekly. We have a number of ranked PvMP Freeps/Creeps, and a creep tribe by the name of Elendil's Bane. We are a very well established rank 10 kinship, with top tier kindred craftsmen in all vocations. Order of Elendil was formed in 2007, with some of our kinship elders participating in LOTRO closed beta programs.
Although we are goal oriented and we like to play/raid/kill everything, we understand that real life comes first and recognize that all players in the kinship have families, jobs, school and other responsibilities which keep them from playing 24/7/365.
OE is actively recruiting members (see recruitment needs below). Our recruiting process is highly selective due to our focus on end-game content. Each application is reviewed on a case by case basis and measured against the current needs of the kinship. We are only recruiting members with multiple 75th lvl characters which have experience raiding in Draigoch/OD/BG. We are looking for mature players who play their characters very well and wish to face the toughest challenges Middle-earth has to offer. If you take raiding seriously but still believe RL should come first, submit an application. You just might have found a new home.

We are a mature, well organized raiding group with a few vacancies to fill. We have immediate openings for a Burglar, Captain, Guardian, Hunter, Minstrel and Rune-keeper.
We are best described as the raiding kinship for the thirty-something of age and actively raid twice per week. Our raid nights are Friday and Tuesday, starting promptly at 9pm Central.

Minstrel postition has been filled! We are still interested in recruiting the following classes in order of priority: Captain, Guardian, Burglar, Rune-keeper, Hunter.
OE is completing two Draigoch raids weekly, Foundry T2 CM, Fangorn's Edge T2 CM, Dargnakh T2 CM, Pits of Isengard T2 CM and is currently working on finalizing the Tower of Orthanc. The new content is fun and exciting so now is a great time to jump onboard!

We have filled our Captain and Hunter positions. We are currently seeking a Guardian, Rune-keeper and Burglar.
OE has finished all of Tier 1 Tower of Orthanc minus Saruman. We've only had one crack at him and we made it to phase 3 on our first attempt. We will begin T2 runs this Friday!

We're still looking to fill a couple spots in our raid group. I think it is important to point out that OE does not double up on our classes and make you sit, meaning that once you are recruited, you will fill that key spot in the raid. We are currently seeking a primary Burglar and Rune-keeper. We also need a secondary Guardian for the raid.
We are not currently seeking any other classes, however we would consider an application for Minstrel and Warden.

As Rake mentioned, we are looking to add a couple people to our raid roster. Our needs have been updated on our website and the OP at the top.
Since our last update, OE has defeated Saruman and cleared all Tower of Orthanc bosses on Tier 1. We are working on T2/T2CM and have need to fill some key spots in our raid group.

We are still looking for 2 - 3 quality raiders. Our raid times are Friday's and Tuesday's from 9:00 PM CST to midnight. The average age of our members is about 30. All of us have jobs and RLs but still take raiding very seriously. If you believe you are in the top tier of your chosen profession but don't want to be expected to raid 10+ hours a week, take a serious look at joining our small, elite band. We have defeated every raid at level that Turbine has thrown at us. We have been raiding together since beta in 2007 and will still be raiding for years to come or until Turbine turns out the lights on Elendilmir.
I would like to make a special plea to any minstrels or RKs who have grown restless from inactivity in their current homes. We have one incredibly solid and consistent Minstrel in our kinship. We have two additonal Minstrels who are exceptional but have sporadic availability. We are looking to add one (or even two) healers that are masters at their class and who want to raid consistently twice a week. We are very excited to announce that Tuesday we finally defeated the Lightning Boss in the Tower of Orthanc on T2C. We have a great raiding team but are still looking for one Captain to complete our group.
