Thread: OMG new raid on Monday! Lore Breakers are recruiting!!

I guess with every other kin on the server, the announcement of a new raid has taken us all a little by surprise! While we are confident in our strength in depth to deliver quality raiding to our members, we are a little short of a couple of classes, namely:

• Lore masters.
• Rune-keepers.

In terms of raiding, we are fairly well covered on other classes, but raiding isn’t the be-all-and-end-all so if you are a casual player who is just looking for a change and you feel Lorebreakers might be a kin that will suit you as an individual, then feel free to speak to one of our officers.

We are looking for enthusiastic players with a positive, friendly attitude. Ability is obviously desirable, but not a pre-requisite so don’t feel you have to perform to a certain standard as the emphasis is very much on teamwork.

Lorebreakers are one of the most established and well respected kins on Eldar. We pride ourselves on both our capacity to engage end-game content, but also that we like to take the scenic route and enjoy all the aspects middle earth has to offer. You can expect to find a friendly, mature environment, a good mix of casual and end-game focused players and a relaxed atmosphere.

Don't look at it like that.. We all know it's easier to boast about past glories compared to creating new glory to shine in! Live in the now and not in the past

Alot of the new members wont know our full history but you are correct we were once a very strong PVP kin and farmed creeps for fun:P

Yes Lore Breakers has changed, this is the nature of MMOs though. Players come and go, and with each phase comes different expectations. I am sure we are not the only kin that has noticed this. Whilst a few years ago we were known mostly for PvP, we are now known for raiding. It's neither a negative or a positive change, just a change, but one that has kept us up to date with the wants of our kin members.
In my opinion Lore Breakers is one of the most open, welcoming kins out there and we strive to make it a home for every one of its members.

Sorry I didnt mean as a dig at your kin (which I myself has been apart of for a little while) just think its sad that history is lost like that.

I guess like a lot of kins out there, we have lost a few members to SW:TOR, and therefore we are once again open to recruitment for all classes. What we offer:

• Strong infrastructure - a website (www.lorebreakers.com), raid-planner, vent, etc, etc.

• A warm, welcoming atmosphere. We cater for all players of any level or ability and will do our best to help you fufill your goals in the game, whatever they may be!

• Regular raiding. We raid most evenings. We are currently mainly running a couple of Draig runs a week, and 3-4 nights on the Tower, however we also still do OD, Hele, etc occasionally, and on request.

• Social events! We organise regular social events and games for our members with some great prizes. Forthcoming events include a treasure hunt where the prizes include 3 Draig scales and a Worn Symbol!

• Longevity – we are one of the longest, if not the longest, and firmly established kins on Eldar.

Given the current environment, we are prepared to consider applications both on an individual basis and from groups or kins who are looking for a fresh challenge or a new home to help them get the very best they can out of LotRo.

Sill looking to swell our ranks, and especially a couple of extra raiders. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a willingness to integrate and add value to a sucessful team. We are running weekly Draig and ToO runs, and having downed Saruman t1 are looking to progress in t2.

We are in the market for a Burglar who is looking for a regular raiding slot .

We could still use 1-2 extra people to strengthen our raiding team. We are ok for Minstrels and Champs atm, but can probably accomodate any other classes with a regular raiding spot, especially a Burg!
