Thread: We need Westfold bows with physical mitigation

Yes, I'm looking at you Bow of Theodred and birchwood crossbows.

Two outputs for the Theodred bow and birchwood crossbow and both have threat reduction and no physical mitigation.

Westfold crafted bows are unsuitable for a guardian. We need one output with physical mitigation and no threat reduction.

Agreed. Guards (and champs) aren't using the bows to do sustained dps, they're like pieces of jewelry that should augment stats, like the Loth and MW bows give additional mitigation and/or crit rating. We know hunters aren't using these bows, make them relevant to the classes that do use them.

I Hear this everytime a kinnie hits level cap and needs a bow.

The entire problem is that the bows are tailored for Hunters. They're pretty good hunter DPS bows, but noone uses anything but an LI beyond 50 pretty much. They need to reduce the DPS in exchange for Physical Mastery, Critical, or Mitigations.
