Thread: Santa Claus is coming to town!

Hullo, boys and girls of Riddermark! It's been over a year since our humble little server was created. Some of you have done great deeds in Middle-earth. Some of you are still nooblets! Regardless of how much or how little you've accomplished so far... I know when you are sleeping, and I know when you're online. I know if you've been bad or good, so don't spam OOC goodness sake! ♫ /strumslute

Santa Claus and his lovely wife, Mrs. Claus*, are coming to a town near you on Sunday, December 4.

• 4:00 p.m. (EST) - Bree, outside the Prancing Pony
• 4:30 p.m. - Esteldin, crafting hall
• 4:45 p.m. - Rivendell, the Last Homely House
• 5:00 p.m. - Moria, the Twenty-first Hall
• 5:15 p.m. - Galtrev, marketplace

Come join us for carols, fireworks, freshly baked goodies, and presents-with-a-chance-of-coal for all levels! Casual role-playing is encouraged but not necessary. The same goes for sitting on my lap.

*Well... everyone knows Santa isn't real. However, Fling and his wife Kittiette are the next best thing!

Though that isn't to say Santa doesn't care about the poor souls brainwashed by the forces of Angmar. You'll see me with my bagpipes and stash of yuletide carols at Gramsfoot on Sunday as well.

But since you mentioned bagpipes, I'm assuming you mean you'll be there on your freep. Well, I'll be there on my creep. Watch out Thandilburz doesn't give a #### about Santa, it's just another meaty leg to chew on. However, I will be in Bree on one of my toons to greet you.

this sounds like a really fun event. its funny because my kin was planning on an xmas concert in a couple of weeks. its nice to see the server in the spirit

Special thanks for the individuals who volunteered their time and talents to providing yuletide music, a few much-needed ports, and shiny disco circles.

Mrs. Claus and I ended up giving out all of our presents (and believe me, we had a lot).

As one astute participant pointed out, Elrond briefly allowed us to use his house for the party even though we employ his elves to mass-produce toys.


Santa brings a little Yuletide cheer to the so-called foes of the free peoples. Though they couldn't hear my music with their ears, they heard it with their hearts! Or something.

For those of you who missed the event, Santa will likely make another appearance closer to the 25th or during the winter festival. In the meantime, be good and stop spreading rumours that I've been kissing your mothers! (Mrs. Claus is irritated enough that an elf maiden sat in my lap in Galtrev.)

We really had such an awesome time with this event! Even if Kittiette was a little pissed over the pretty girls sitting Mr. Claus's lap. We'll post here again with new dates/times for our 2nd event here shortly!
