I think the only possible reason would be that the hunter turret was too busy trying their wee little hearts out to kill me. But this is funny considering we were pushing them earlier in TA all the way into the CG room with practically equal numbers. But oh well, this is nothing out of the ordinary. Anyone who adamantly insists that the average freep outweights the average creep hasn't frequented out of peak hour Windfola PvP in the last couple of weeks.

We've also had more than a dozen creeps sitting in OC while the Viat group of 6 sits outside. It happens on both sides as, inevitably, there are people on both sides who can't play or need to "grow a pair". Get used to it.
Take off your creep goggles bro.

Never said it didnt happen the other way either. Was just mentioning a particular scene that happened today.

I don't think freeps grouped up until the keep flipping. And my Naegling hunter turret was 3 hunters deep. I think it's kind of counterproductive to push OC, push OC, camp rez. Then people scatter and renown/infamy dies. I've been holed up in OC and it's not really fun, I assume (apparently incorrectly) that others find that not fun.
Gonna be honest and say that dub defiler, dub WL combo is a tough nut to crack. My group out there at that time didn't have any healers, let alone a shield wall, let alone 4 healers and two bubblers. So we if we push OC, creeps get bubbled, no or few kills are made and we have 20 NPCs on freeps while the BAs pick off fat kids. Just sounds like a losing proposition.
And I'm glad I could be a trampoline for you Naegling. Seems like an unnecessary move, I don't get it. Guess I'd thought of you more as a friend? I guessed wrong.

To be fair. I only corpse jump bros. If it's someone I have a problem with, I want them to retreat asap so I can kill them again.
And yeah. The 4 healer thing would cause a bit of trepidation unless the freeps were all grouped, had someone to hold npc's, and had solid focus fire. But once again, wasn't there.

Well, it was an awesome push Naegling had, I pulled him through about 8 or 10 npcs, including the CG. Then he killed me and jumped. Maybe it was a stress relief. Either way, I guess I should be flattered. Flattened? Both.

True, other creeps perhaps. But this here was the craziest group of 6 we could muster, with not one person having qualms about pulling frigging GV if they had to. Seeing as we pushed repeatedly (and then stopped only when they simply refused to leave their TA/WTAB blankie behind), IMO the respectful thing to do would have been be sportsmanlike and push back. Next time you see us, remember this: we can take it, and we won't run.
LOL Creep goggles, Ciro? It's anything but. Naeg said what he did 'cause the fact is he has a pair.
Oh, and I love how everyone's standard, almost programmed response to "grow a pair" accusations is, "But peeps on your side do it too!" So what, you're no better than those guys?

True, we had four healers. But they were also the kind, like I said, to push forward and neither give nor expect quarter. We aren't asking that they zerg through OC and pull every NPC in there. But the furthest they came was, what, base of WTAB on the OC side? And that wasn't more than a couple times after we'd pushed, lost a couple, and then pulled back across the bridge.
And if they didn't pull NPCs, just imagine, 6v13! Healers or no healers, they could well have put down at least half of us, and I mean if they were really, really disorganized.
There are way too many cowards and staring contests in this game. A death in-game, what does it mean? Does it reduce your expected lifespan IRL by twenty years? Or maybe your soul will be turned over to the devil? Stop giving so much of a ####, people, everything will be better if you do. And if you do find yourself face to face with your Savior/Satan way before your time, you can say I made you do it.
Edit: In reference to RW's post on OC camps not being fun, we agree wholeheartedly. But I think we demonstrated time and again that we weren't afraid to push, ergo there wouldn't have been a camp. Just a few skirmishes in front of OC, *not inside*, with a couple Ongburz Trackers and Archers to give us backup if need be. Or, hell, you could've even killed off the ones that might have been a hassle! But making us pull a keep coming after you was overkill on your part, don't you think?

I saw one mini a guard and a lm who could drop tar to kite the nova through. There was also a couple champs to interrupt our healers.
Edit: @shap yea..... You pushed just a bit too far and I was smart enough to follow.....

man gone for like 7 months and here i am thinking maybe the windfola drama hath died down. looks no different than ever way to go windfola, doing my drama filled heart proud. maybe i will start again on windy o.O and btw CirdalvalSilnuviel is correct dying in teh moors means absolutley nothing. trust me i was once an r7 reaver very close to 2000 deaths. though i was a noob. theres my 2 cents. may the drama fest continue

Creep goggles just as I have a somewhat smaller pair of freep goggles on atm. It tends to happen on whichever side you're currently playing.
And I totally agree on your point of one side doing it so the other side thinks it's okay. That's what I always find so silly about the random keep flipping or rez camping. It's always 'You guys did it, so I can do it too.' Where does it stop? WHERREEEE?!!?
What I was trying to say is that since both sides do it so often, a thread for every one isn't entirely necessary.

You can still think that way, if you want to Maybe a corpse jump was unneccesary but getting pulled through a keep on my own only to be finished off by another freep merited some form of drastic action!

If i started one for everytime this happened...... there would be lots.... i thought today's situation was ridiculous, even moreso than usual so i made an inquiry about it.

Can elves even have a pair? Not sure on the elf anatomy thing, but I'm the only >6800 out there who will run solo into the WL platoon with Shap poking holes in me just to punch one of you in the face . . . when I need the focus
To be honest it is great fun leading a creep parade on a tour of the TA digs . . now if Turbine would just put a pub in the CG room, we could all stop to have a quick quaff of the good stuff and laugh at all the silliness.
