Thread: Who do you miss most?

There are many people who have came and gone from the moors, some liked, some hated.

How about a shortlist of who you miss most? Top three, maybe a little explanation as to why
I'll start
1. Krisnok, rift gear, nothing else needs to be said
2. Alzeria, she actually would group with me
3. Rogerthedumpster, he had a cool name even though I never met him

1. Basterni, while he's not really gone, he's not here, I miss his dead corpse, I don't use rez half as much anymore.
2. Signs, I didn't have to try to make him pm me with hate and death threats, I miss it.

3.AcidAcidAcidAcid, I miss him when he is away, I know he is cheating on me with WoW... What a noob.

The one i miss is the hunter Wolfpack. I remember how he use to stealth up outside of a keep and one shot alot of Creeps.(this is going back to SoA times).

I miss the fun that used to be found in the moors.

I haven't been around as long as some but I miss a lot of people on both sides.

Auth Daug Noss my old kin running in the moors with them freepside with Shadoow leading in particular.

Also early morning keep takes lead by a saucy Blacksparrow.

Late night groups especially with The Plague.

Any group anytime with the old Pwny/Resevoir Dawgz/Agony/etc. that Gakarat led.Best times I ever had in this game and most of my favorite people were on Landroval creepside.

Freepside: Jimmycake and Trinstar. Jimmycake was certainly one of the best raid leader i met and Trinstar was funny to listen to when she was drunk


Creepside: Grasswalker and Warginator. Grasswalker always took the time to lead raid of greenies, being very patient with them, showing the ropes. Warginator was funny to watch and never took the game too seriously.


Im blaming Turbine lack of support with the PvP aspect in their game. With a new area/game mechanisms/objectives/rewards, i think most of those people would still be around.

Who (what) do you miss most?

-Staying up all night watching Lugz a couple years ago(freeps had Lugz for like 2 weeks straight)
-A reaver named Pepsican
-The Arachnaphobia spider crew(all named Arachnaphobia)
-Karkel and Grizlark, death duo
-Hotspots
-I swear there was a drake in the TA courtyard at some point, can anyone confirm that?
-The purple freeple eater, I didnt know at the time what people were talking about when I heard this, but it didnt sound good!
-Jimmycake raids, my first bite of the Moors
-2 freep raids VS 2 creep raids with NO lag

I didnt know the players that I mentioned personally, but fun times, although I think a former kin mate may have been one of those spiders- Betawulf anyone?

Anyway, enough reminiscing

My skills. They've been greyed out for a few years now.

Jimmycake's a good one, he was a good player, good raid leader. Used to play some songs with that guy in Bree after the PvP died for the night, good times.

I'm going to say Feluirond though, unless he's still around under another name. When I started really pvping freepside there would often be just me and him in a raid trying to keep up with the healing. Until I realized that half the time he wasn't healing, he was towards the front shouting at creeps and causing mayhem. This was before minnies could really inflict heavy damage like they can now, but you could definitely get some kills and you could definitely induce some ill-advised creep charges. I of course immediately adopted the playstyle and never looked back. The trick was to know when you could move forward and when you had to whack-a-mole the green bars. The raid leaders would yell at you a bit (would you want your healers charging the creeps? Maybe today, but not back then) but fun was fun. He was good at it.

+1 Pouncy! Although there are individuals I really miss, what I really miss is the playground we used to have, not this garbage we've had to deal with the last few years.

Grup doesn't exist because the character name doesn't have that second c, just Grupchuk hehe

Our champ soloing nights were a lot of fun back in the day. I'll never forget when Wulf, Luc and I were in vent together and poor Luc was just getting demolished by a warg pack while Wulf and I were randomly getting great fights.

Finally we decide to individually head over to where the warg pack was as Luc is being ganked again and managed to defeat them all, thanks to Luc doing a ton of damage to the pack before retreating and we simply finished them off.

At the end of it Wulfhen just did his low, soft laugh for several seconds then said, 'Poor Luc', who had just gotten back to the scene and hadn't gotten any Renown despite doing a lot of damage.

I remember that well. Those times were the height of Landy Champs in my book. Lee leading some of the best raids since the early early days in the moors with Essence, Wulf beating me on the renown/day more often than not, you putting down the bug and proving yourself as one of the best freeps I've known. And a slew of other really really solid Champ players who knew if you're not dying you're doing it wrong. Yeah...good times.

I think those people on my list (both PvMP and PvE-side) know who they are. It's far longer than I would have it be. But stuff happens. I wish them all well.

Same. PvP champs like you, Wulf, Leekae and Saelraen really made me want to play one. We had a really solid community for a long time (not that you guys don't now, I'm just not a part of it anymore so I can't comment either way) and I had a ton of fun on this server. Stuff does happen unfortunately, but I think we all had fun while it lasted.

OMG, I totally forgot about that. Those were classic, but I still remember the melt down Stick had in the forums, when we kept killing him (he was a mini) in the un-walled in EC. We tore him up and then took out his group and he kept /AFKing messages to us about being noobs for killing the healer first and it spilled into the forums...lol.

I miss the trolls that dont activate as advertised. Do we get turbine pt compensation?

I miss Sharpshift - and I really hope he's ok. And Padfeet hasn't been on her warg in ages - both great people sorely missed.

Creepside: GET IN MY BELLY! (I'm blanking on his spider's name at the moment, how terrible of me!) But it was fun when he'd come lead raids on freepside.

well the one creep I miss the most would have to be Chieff.. it was unknown kings that welcomed me to the moors and pulled me in with them when I first started creep side.

freep side I have a couple which would be jimmycake.. was basically him and budhorn and matium that showed me the moors, can remember jimmycake, budhorn and I being on till like 3am est time kicking butt and having fun.. also gotta add alzeria to one I miss most as well.. alz and I ran together every night she was on landy till I went creep side and decided to start nomming freeps to the best of my ability.

There's a ton, but I have to name....... ~Desu!
