Has anyone else noticed that the Purge 10s immunity does not always work? Most often it is the Burning Embers slow that ignores it but also some times Hunter slows.
It's kinda frustrating to give up so much morale only to limp to an even faster death.
...and whilst we are at it the long "immediate" bubble could really do with a fix to be more... immediate....
This thread got buried and the issue has not been addressed.
The OP is correct - Purge does not provide immunity to slows as it claims in the tooltip.
It does appear to remove at least 1 active slow effect but any slows applied after the purge skill has been used are definitely being applied - Turbine please fix this!
I have been slowed whilst Purge is still active by;
I know what the problem is and it has been around since purge was changed at RoI. It is possibly, but not necessarily, a bug.
When you activate purge a buff appears over you for about .8 of a second before the main buff appears, during this time, it seems possible for slows to get through, especially ranged slows like burning embers or hunter slows.

Its very similar I think to the effect where reavers can get mezzed just prior to charging and be mezzed while in charge and unable to move unless they pot it. Roots can also very rarely go through the same way. I've never had a fear that did the same, but I think it is likely possible.
Its the same way with WL bubble, MT, hips, etc. Some induction skills can apply or bypass another skill if they were just quick enough beforehand. I was 1v1ing this BA the other day, who clearly stopped moving to call me out. As he was nearly dead, I saw the WL coming in to bubble him. The BA popped MT, the bubble went up, and my swift bow was just just barely prior to both and it went through for the KB. I clearly saw both buffs and just /sighed. Then when the induction went through, I was happy until I saw the 8 other creeps charging me.
Same thing happens when I'm on my warg. Hips.... wait......wait..... bunch of induction skills go through, dead.
There's tons of little quirky bugs that show up every now and then if you watch for them.

Where you get this wrong is that purge is specifically supposed to REMOVE slows, such that any slows applied before it takes effect should be removed. What seems to be happening is that the immunity to slows is applied slightly after the purge actually removes slows... which is wonky and should be fixed.
There are also certain slows which seem to go right through the slow protection of reaver resilience and possibly purge (anthem of the wizards among others).
I encourage you all to bug things that do not seem to be functioning properly.

No you're interpreting what I was saying incorrectly. I think you are just trying to disagree or nitpick to somehow find a way that I am incorrect. I am not directly comparing these different scenarios.
All I'm saying is: There are a number of skills that are not working as intended. Am I wrong? That is where the similarity ends. This is another to put on the ever-growing list.
just throwing this out there, i have been slowed half-way through reavers resilience slow immunity. so theres no way that its applied before the slow immunity actually activtes(its supposed to cure slows too btw)

Anthem of wizards goes right through resilience. Minstrels lol.
