How well would the specs of this do.

Im going to be getting my brothers old labtop later this year. and i was wondering how well it could run Lotro let alone at all.
Below are the specs of it

    Inspiron E1505
Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T7200 at 2.0 GHz per core.
15.4" Ultrasharp WSXGA+ display with TrueLife
1GB DDR2 667MHz RAM in dual channel mode
    ATI X1400 256MB graphics card
    120GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive
8X DVD +/- dual layer recorder
    9-cell lithium-ion battery
the ramm can be upgraded to 2 gigs which i would think would help it run somewhat better but what im worried might not make the cut is the processor and the Graphics card.

The onboard graphics processor will run the game. It will look like garbage, but it will run. You won't be able to do better than Low graphics with that card, but it'll be okay.

However, with only a gig of ram, you'll be extremely laggy... I've heard of lotro using up to 2 gigs, which requires close to 3 so that your computer has a gig left for simple running tasks.

You probably will not be able to play the game on that system.

Depends on what you mean by play... It'll turn on, but who knows how much you'll be able to do

Exactly what I meant. Logging in to the game and loading a screen is far different from being able to actually travel, fight, quest, etc.
