Thread: The Iron Axes are seeking North American folk!

Well, to clarify, you don't have to be North American, because that's not how we roll, but we're interested in recruiting folk playing peak North American hours (EST evenings, etc.). Plus, it seems most of the EU'ers on during our evenings (all 30-50 of you logged onto globallff - you know who you are) are in kinships already.

The Iron Axes are a mixed race (though somewhat dwarf-centric) casual/medium RP kinship that's extremely active every night (and during the days for a number of members). Most of the officers/founders are based on the East Coast, and we've all permanently relocated here on this awesome server. We're seeking to consolidate all you stray NA'ers who've come to the server and are looking for folk to quest with, RP, deed, whatever - or anyone one looking to move to that server permanently and are worried about not finding people to do things with. All skill levels (game, RP) are welcome.

Update: we've gone fully international, as we have a core group of EU'ers on during their time, the NA'ers on during our time, and a few vagrant Aussies... *ducks a flying Vegemite jar*

With a recent merger into out little group, the Axes have taken on a band of... (gulp)... Australians. Oddly enough, our hours mesh well enough...

They're not that rowdy * rubs a sore spot on his head where struck by a flying lute*, so if there are any kin-less Aussies or Kiwis out there looking for a group, drop a line to myself, Oaric, or Aeglon.... Or the other IA officers mentioned above.

Good gravy we've gone fully international. We now have a growing EU contingent, with an EU officer to boot - so flood Idoneah with tells if you're interested in the Axes. All races, classes, and experience levels welcome.

Good luck with the recruitment. I have joined this group of merry men a few times in the (uk) early hours. Lots of fun to be had, so i would recomend joining them if you are floating about kinless.

Great! When you're on, look for Dinkum/Taralom/Angarwald, or if none of those guys, Tippsie - they're our resident Aussies, or the folk mentioned above - khazgur, mathfield, or myself.. oh yeah, Ellsa. Need to update the OP methinks...

I an now just downloading the game i use to play along time ago not on this server or anything i am looking to start fresh and when i started playing i got myself a lifetime membership. I am looking for a fun and good mature rp kinship that is not heavy which yours is casual if you can get back to me on here or let me know what steps i need to take into joining you kinship that would be great thanks!

Joining up with us is a pretty casual thing, nothing too crazy - check out our page in my sig and take a look at the guidelines page linked in the front there. If they sound fair to you, and if you think we might be a kin you'd be interested in, just drop me or any IA officer a line (myself, Ellsa, Mathfield, Khazgur, Tarhir, Dinkum, or Angarwald to name a few). Also, check out our background/storyline to make sure its something you might like and would be conducive to your RP style.

I did see on your other post that you're west coaster - While we do have a few PST'ers (though their activity is spotty sometimes), I should mention that many of the US folk are EST (though we do have a number of CST people playing actively) and most of the events I organize are done so in the EST evenings (typically 10 pm est).

Also, in regards to your other post as well, another thing to keep in mind is that the majority of events on this server are GMT-based, as the overwhelming bulk of the server's population are EU folk. So, taking 8 pm GMT as a average time for events, that's 4 pm here, and 1pm out by you - so if you're a day player, that's fine, if not, then it might be a bit tough finding active events.

I would like to join your kinship...like you saw in my post from early i am on the west coast. So the events i will most likely be able to attend which i saw on your website is the 10pm as long as the 10pm events are set up EST then it will be 7pm here and i can do that no problem. Also to fill you in i am in College right now my spring term is ending here at the end of this week and i have finals the next week.

Next week after my finals though i will be taking a Vacation to Missouri i will bringing my laptop because its just seeing family i havent seen for almost a year. So i will be on during the time i am out there, but if you want to get me started lets say April 2nd then i am good to go after that point.

Since you guys are a Casual rp group i think i will be able to fit in just fine if you want to send me a private message through here and let me know what you need done from my part and i will try to get that stuff done for you ASAP.....thanks and i hope to hear from you soon.

I've noticed a lot of kinless folk running around Bree-land and points west lately during our EST evenings - Just wanted to let anyone out there know that the IA are always looking to bring people together during North American hours. We're casual-medium rp, mixed, fun, and like pie, bawdy jokes, and ale.

I am a founder, beta-tester, and life-time membership player who has not played seriously in around 2 years. I want to get back into the game and begin to dabble in a little role-play, and seeing as how I am North American and rolling a Dwarf, this seemed like a good match.

The Iron Axes *cheers* are recruiting and looking for able bodied, mentally unbalanced folk (slightly nuts will do...in a pinch)
As Oaric has pointed out quite a few times (im surprised he hasnt been barred for bumping) We are "mostly" North American kin...with a few lost Europeans and two YES TWO Aussies....oh come on we arent that bad!!
We are seeking more (preferably aussies and or kiwis however i guess if your an American/European we'll let you in....if we must *sighs*)

If you like your RP light to medium, packed with humour, and respect for Tolkiens world (even the dark crunchy bits) then look no further!
We do have a serious side...oaccasionally, mostly though we are here to have fun, meet really interesting and WEIRD people, have a few laughs and eat many many Pies!!
