Come out to the Abandoned Graveyard (26.3S, 52.2W) outside of Bree-town for some fun and prizes! The festivities will be Saturday, November 5th, 1p-4p ET.
There will be fireworks, food and drink, a costume contest and live entertainment.
If you'd like to participate, just show up and enjoy some time with your fellow Silverlode players!
Bands or musicians of any kind are invited to play. If you'd like to participate as band or musician, please contact either Hortensia or Taliesin for more details.

Re: Silverlode Celebration! - November 5th 1p-4p ET
I would like to reiterate that we desperately need bands and performers for this thing, so anyone who is interested in entertaining the masses PLEASE let us know!
Re: Silverlode Celebration! - November 5th 1p-4p ET
I would suggest checking with Chastine about entertainment. Don't Tempt Me Frodo is good with music.
It would also be neat to see the folks (formerly or currently) with Fat Smokin' Hobbits out. Saw them on the stable in Bree once. Good show.
Are you planning on doing a GLFF or several regional reminders the day of? (I'm interested, terrible memory for these things).
Good luck, sounds like a lot of fun
Elendilmir: ~*~Ryssawyn~*~ (RK)
Acheros (LM) Snozzberries Defiler of great taste.

Cool to know we have such a reputation for music and good times! Don't Tempt Me Frodo has answered the call. I'm rallying the troops now, and we're bolstering our .abc files with more spooky tunes for your amusement.
I might also check our coffers, I'm pretty sure we still have a ton of food and drink left over from our kin opening.

Fantastic! Can't wait to hear what you guys have planned.

As the leader of the (to the best of our knowledge, anyway) oldest still-active kinship on the server, I just wanted to say I think this is a great idea - it's wonderful to see that so many people still have so much enthusiasm for LoTRO. I have notified my members, so don't be surprised if you see some of us there. Also, I *THINK* I may still have the collection of fireworks launchers from the summer festival if they would be of any use. I hope to see everyone there!

Anyone who wants to do fireworks is more than welcome to set them off! I have a ton of them floating around right now as well, so we'll be lighting up the sky.
Re: Silverlode Celebration! - November 5th 1p-4p ET
A big, big thank you to everyone who turned out today and made the party go so well!
A big thank you to Taliesin and whomever at Clan of Dereth she shanghaid into participating.
Extra big thanks to everybody at Don't Tempt Me Frodo who put on a fantastic show to us.
Thank you to Mayflower for a generous donation of enough beverages to make sure no one could see straight as well as for hosting a riddle contest and a Monster Play raid afterward.
And thank you to Leolamay for her donation of so many fireworks that we were able to keep them going near constantly.
Re: Silverlode Celebration! - November 5th 1p-4p ET
Thanks to everyone who came out yesterday and participated not only by turning up, but by donating fireworks, food and drink! Huge thanks to Hortensia and Legion of Shadows who brainstormed this whole thing with me and CoD.
Special thanks to Don't Tempt Me Frodo for providing top-notch entertainment. Sorry I was so good as guessing the songs. Hehe!
I can't wait to do something like this again. Maybe a year end celebration is in order?

P.S> Hi, Tal!
Hallo! It was great to have you guys out at the event yesterday. It was so much fun seeing people beat each other silly with just their fists. haha.
I'll have to check to see when CoD was founded, we might give you a run for your money.
Re: Silverlode Celebration! - November 5th 1p-4p ET
That was an absolutely fantastic event, and I really hope to be part of others in the future.
We have an open offer standing; if anyone needs a band for. Well, anything! Please feel free to send me or any of my officers (preference to Mirineth, Falillith, or Junes) a tell or some ingame mail. We're very nearly always available for an event, especially if it's on a weekend.
Congrats to Hortensia and Taliesin for hosting such a spectacular event. We had an amazing time.
Re: Silverlode Celebration! - November 5th 1p-4p ET
Guys, grats on the great job with this - I would LOVE to see this become a regular (monthly? seasonal?) event. I would like to organize a few of these myself, but unfortunately we just don't have nearly enough active members anymore to make a success of it. Please do not hesitate to ask if Dragons Watch can help out in any way in the future!
~ Wil
P.S> Mayflower was quite pleased to be able to help!
