I have been doing some moria stuff on my RK, and whenever I was soloing the small fellowship quests, I kept running out of power. I brushed this of thinking 'those were long fights, it's bound to happen' but whenever I would fight just 2 moria defenders my power would be depleted. At one point I was doing a quest, and in the quest you are supposed to kill a 5K Wight-hand ork..I found him and also found a 2K Bat-woman by him..I did my HoT's And engaged...Killing the Bat-woman first to get her out of the fight, then I turned some punishment on the Ork...I got him to 3.5K and used a power portion..about 1.5K I used self moto...Any fight more than 2 people I lose Power completely! Is there something I should stack to fix this?
I have 3028moral and 2210 power and I am 52...Ever since the RoI update whenever I heal I lose power 2 times as fast... Shocking words I used as a basic heavy hitter..now it sucks power...any help with power?
Certh,
Certh,
Certainty of death, *small* chance of success... What are we waiting for?
I believe power costs on a number of skills were increased with RoI. Try to get -Battle attuned power cost legacy on your dps weapon which will help. Also watch out for fear debuffs that reduce a lot of fate and will, these are a real pain when it comes to managing power so try to use a fear pot to get rid of these when you can. Perhaps also try eating some regen food before longer battles.

Very good advice, will help immensely with power issues. If you see a pink debuff on you be sure to remove with a fear pot as soon as possible. You should start getting used to travelling around with all 4 debuff removal pots as well and some good food.
also watch out for epic conclusion if you are using that...it increases power cost by 50% (?) for 10 or so seconds.
I think you get sustaining bolt at 30, so traiting 4 deep you should get "charged" every now and again , which makes that skill free.
You also mentioned shocking words...stay away from that then and look at your power costs of your skills and use a cheap rotation.
Cold skills are pretty power hungry so stay away from them.
Food helps too especially indense areas where you may get chain attacked.
Ever since I L30ish, I've had more power than morale, currently sitting at around 2.9k power and 2.6k morale at L54. Coupled with more fate than will, an LM buddy, and -battle-attuned power cost legacy, I barely run out of power.

Certh,
Some fine tips, mine is watch ceaseless argument over use, its power cost has increased and you might be spamming it to build attunement (I know I have plenty of times). Take a look at the rifflers and chisels for your level, admittedly Im not schooled in the variances but might be some that affect power. The only other thing I have is something Im sure you thought of, on multiple pulls you can often use the stone to pull one of the mobs and sometimes you’ll get lucky and it will survive after you have burnt one down, use that time to not engage and get a second or two of power increase. Same concept but with stuns (armor of the storm is decent here) if power is decreasing stun them, and manage pot cool downs with it.
Little micro managing at the end there but might by you some power.
Try to get your hands on a Rifler of Fire. As far as I recall it is the only rifler that gives +ICPR but you'll be giving up some other benefits when using it. I'll normally switch out when I notice I'm heading towards 1/3 of my power pool on longer trash mob fights.
I remember going through this on my RK once I hit Moria or so. I probably spent most of 50-60 with my blue bar on permanent "depleted" status, and when I ran skirmishes with my LM friend, I drove him absolutely nuts with my near-constant power demands. Looking back on it, I can't say exactly what made that time so difficult. I was stacking Will and Fate as much as I could on my gear. I used -Power Cost legacies on my runestones faithfully. I avoided Fire (which, at the time, was actually *more* expensive than Lightning, though I'm not sure how that's working now).
Eventually this problem did go away, and I know I wasn't having trouble anymore by level 60 or so. I think the solution, for me, was a combination of two things. A) getting slightly better gear through quest rewards, crafting, reputation, and Moria instance runs, and B) finding a more power-efficient rotation. Like I said, I was using Lightning at the time, and pretty much shortened my rotation to Fiery Ridicule (to open), Ceaseless Argument, Scribe's Spark, and Shocking Words. I found that actually killed things just as fast as some of the more-expensive abilities I'd been using before. If I was lucky enough to get both the buffs up for an Epic Conclusion, I might toss that in too, but ONLY if both buffs were up, and then only if my power looked good or I was near the end of the fight. Otherwise it is just not worth it.
Nowadays, I'm not sure if this rotation would still be as power efficient as before. I'm pretty much just using Fire now, and it's working out great. But if you're still in Moria, some of the improved Fire skills won't be available to you, and might not make that as feasible.
Another idea would be to use a legacy that returns extra power from Self-Motivation. I was popping that on cooldown for awhile there, and the increase in power return from the legacy did help.
At level 40, I had like 900 morale and like 3200 power. (didnt die, =3)
at about 50, i had around 2200 morale and 4400 power. (still dont die often)
at 60, 2800-3400 morale (of not better with moira gear) and 4500 power+
I ussally stack on Will and Fate (itlest into 500's if you can) At your level there plenty of gear that offers Vit/will/fate pretty often.
With right virtues and high will and fate, you can pretty much have near infinite power reserves.
Like couple people mention'd, watch out using EC, the extra power cost can add up fast.
Also don't forget to have food (both fate or will) and a in-com food regen source running. they can make a huge differnce.
