I just have to give credit to the devs for allowing my beastly blades of sexiness to draw freep blood again! I feel like my old self again! I can kill an npc in less than 8 seconds and I can actually survive an attack from freeps with no skillz! Props to the devs! This has been a long time coming. I did bolster my arsenal with 2 purchased skills. Dying Rage and Thrash are just what I needed to level the playing field. I have ZERO regrets and now look forward to ranking up to 9 and beyond again. You guys have rekindled my love for pvp. Any freep that would wish to take away the creep dps boost is a raid baby and needs to stick to Cleansing the Hoardale as their main source of RP. Feel free to add your noticable differences and experiences to this thread in honor of our rebirth.

What does double flops have to do with anything? It doesn't deny anything just delays the inevitable or stops reaver blender from occuring at the start of a fight.

Dying rage- A skill that only opens up with you have like 2-3k morale left. If you know anything about freep dps you know thats about .0000001 second before its gone.

DR allows me to get that kill when I am outnumbered and my quarry is near death/freep uses cd's. I am going to die either way. I may as well get my inf for my troubles. It allows me to bypass the Rv1. If I have a few tenthousand more inf points and got it the old fashioned way would we even be having this conversation? I will gladly use it to deny kills to dirty freeps as well. It is exactly what I needed to even out the playing field. I am sure you will be using it when you rank up/buy it.

I did buy it, i dunno why your acting like i hurt your feelings or something. In a 1v1 i can see dying rage used, but in a raid vs raid its literally useless.

all i can say is kelsen is a genius. The update and now dps patch has been fantastic and really boosted my love for pvmp as well. I really feel that all the time and effort I have put into my creep is now worth it. The fact that creeps can stand up as almost equals to freeps is amazing to me and really changed the whole game. Yesterday I managed to roam the map solo on my BA and wreak havoc on freeps questing and on freeps roaming solo and duo. The field is now pretty much even and i love it!

Indeed, dying rage is very limited. You can only enable it at what, 3.5k morale? While it does give you +100% parry chance, if you are being attack by ranged or tactical and there is more than 1 freep attacking you, you're pretty much dead before you get much off.

Add to that, it's on a 10minute cooldown. If anyone is considering getting it from the turbine store, I would suggest getting a more useful skill. Eg. Blade Toss if you're a lower ranked reaver.

As a light armoured squishy, I think the new DPS for Reavers and BAs is a bit too high, especially given the amount of HP that Creeps have.


But, I guess I'll have more valuable input when I get all my 75 gear in place.

I should buy DR for my defiler so I can run out of the freeps' renown range when they zerg me.

The small group you were in last night managed to drop my 14k morale reaver before i manged to drop yours by 2k. If you wanna talk about dps...come creepside.

I'm glad you're enjoying it on your creep now. Sounds like you wouldn't hack it on your freep(s) since freeps get nothing out of ranking.

i wouldnt (and cant) hack it on my freeps cause i hate freepside. And there is benefits to ranking freepside, cloaks, armor, jewelery, horses, etc

afaik, the 20-30% creep damage 'correction' in the patch was too base damage.

I havn't been in the moors much on my freep on RM. Too much drama to have a known freep and a creep on the same server. Both sides look at you and treat you differently. From my experience freepside in the moors on another server I have come to treat every creep I am fighting as a R15 opponent. A lot of R1+ creeps have purchased all of their good skills from the lotro store. I get killed more, but I still feel the creeps were in desperate need of the equality boost in dps. I can imagine there was the same reaction when women and minorities were finally able to vote in western societies. Don't worry freeps! You will adjust and adapt your tactics to our dps soon enough. I have already seen a lot of my adversaries adapt and overcome in our encounters. I hope you still come out to play as the vets really have no reason to be out there other than for the thrill of combat. Grind your maps, maggots!
