Per patch notes this was fixed in U6.
In terms of NEW bugs this thread indicates that the SS/SB power reduction legacy is not working properly when Swift Blade is traited for.

So anyway just more confirmation in No Stance TH WILL push power as it indicates, its only when in a stance that it fails to do so.

Added in. Excellent.

Good job guys! I've been away from the game for about a month taking care of other stuff, but I just hit another pass. Carry on and keep it up, and thanks for being awesome!

Re: The Post-RoI Champ's Questions and Clarifications Thread
Also not sure if you noticed but back on Pg 7 of the thread I re-checked Merc Strikes post U5.2 (but pre U6). It still doesn't return any pips and it looks like the relative damage per pip has changed a little bit but still mostly useful at 1 or 2 pips and less useful at more than that.
I am going to try (after I finish working on rep in the new region) to go through and actually parse the damage instead of just checking the tooltip.

Re: The Post-RoI Champ's Questions and Clarifications Thread
Since at least Update 5 (perhaps going back to RoI), Red Haze hasn't worked properly. It gives 2 pips immediately, then does nothing for its duration. While getting 2 pips at once definitely has its uses, I think I'd get more utility out of it (and would spam it less, using less power) if it was WAI.

I do remember that there was talk about RH not giving pips over time but just the pips up front only, I don't think it was ever added to the thread because nobody really went and double checked things. I can't right now since I'm on vacation away from any computer which can actually run the game but I suspect either the bug exists because I do remember seeing this behavior but I can't confirm if it applies across the board or if its just fervour specific since I haven't really played any glory, ardour or no-stance in the week or so before I went on vacation.
Side note but I've /bug'd everything still yellow on the list my last two sessions but who knows when we will get a response on these things. Obviously the devs are checking in every now and then (Rock in particular seems to be lurking about) so hopefully we can get some sort of response.

Re: The Post-RoI Champ's Questions and Clarifications Thread
Recently returned to the game and leveling my champ, just one question what legacies should I be wanting on my rune for Raiding? Obv its gunna be a 65 first age, atm Im rolling with IIRC: Bracing Attack Heal, Ebbing Ire, Strikes Line power Cost, Swift Strike Power Cost, Rend Pulses and Some Ardour Parry and evade ####, which I want to swap out for either Dire need or something else.

I don't have time to raid or dig into the game as much as I usually do, so I'm still questing through the rep quests and non-repeatables, so I'll mark this down and try to remember to test it myself, shouldn't be out of my way.

Cheers in advance.
While we appreciate your interest in the class, this thread was specifically designed for feedback from devs or players regarding fixes or bugs to the class in the interest of bettering the game for all the players involved. If you're looking for questions about how to construct your Champion, or ideas of which direction or strength to lean in or on, I'd request starting a new thread. You'll get more information there, and faster, than this one, which again, is dedicated to being focused on exposing and fixing bugs and answering questions.

Well then can I suggest renaming the thread.

Indeed this thread has an ambiguous title, although the topic isn't very ambiguous if you read the original post. On the other hand, this thread should be able to answer your question: What are optimal legacies post Isen on our Champ runes?

Re: The Post-RoI Champ's Questions and Clarifications Thread
Went and did some additional work on Red Haze, on use it grants 2 pips to the user and does not at any further point add pips. This is the case in all three stances (and in no stance). The only thing I haven't been able to narrow down is if it does in fact return pips when in continuous combat and in stance which will be the next thing I look in to.
Anyway Red Haze definitely not WAI (or at least not working as per tooltip).

Re: The Post-RoI Champ's Questions and Clarifications Thread
Dont know if it's already mentioned in this threat somewhere but anyhow. In regards to
"Sudden Defense activates the bubble at the end of the animation "
there seems to be a similar and probably related problem with Hedge. The Hedge effect is applied at the end of the animation (instead of "immediate") which can result in you being disarmed AFTER activating Hedge (and thus having the debuff AND the hedge cooldown).
Re: The Post-RoI Champ's Questions and Clarifications Thread
Hadn't seen the Hedge issue before but I'm going to look out for it now...
also looks like nothing is getting touched for U6.1 so here's hoping for 6.2 or 7.0 though hope continues to fade that the list gets addressed.

Re: The Post-RoI Champ's Questions and Clarifications Thread
There was a stealth fix in 6.1 that returned the functionality of the Swift Strike/Swift Blade power reduction legacy for traited Swift Blade. I really love that trait as it ups my DPS in AoE situations by a huge amount, but unfortunately I had to tank the Foundry run I went on last night and didn't get to test it out since getting all of my new jewelry and offhand axe.
Too bad there were no other stealth fixes that I know of
Re: The Post-RoI Champ's Questions and Clarifications Thread
I can confirm the swift blade/swift strike legacy is now fixed for swift blade. And, I'm now glad I was too lazy to ever replace that particular legacy on my ardour/glory rune - swift to anger is a must have for me when traiting for AoE.

I... do not know why I never added this. I notice this all the time and it drives me bananas. I guess I learned to live with it way too much. Nice! Will add, thanks.

Added. Truth be told I don't have the gameplay time I'd need to keep updating this list with my own testing to confirm, so I'll have to be taking your guys's word for it. I appreciate your dedication, and keep it up, and thanks everyone!
i just hope a dev actually sees this -_-

Re: The Post-RoI Champ's Questions and Clarifications Thread
Reminiscing on the old Mirkwood bug thread really makes me wish that this thread would get the same level of attention from developers. If I recall correctly, every single point made by Bobion in the old thread was directly addressed at some point or other by a developer. Regardless, +rep for this outstanding collaboration.
Re: The Post-RoI Champ's Questions and Clarifications Thread
Updated with info from this thread (thanks Ulvric and posters!). I don't have the ability atm, so is anyone able to confirm if the following Swift Strike/Blade bugs are also still in existence or have returned from the grave so I can update and add to the list? Thanks a bunch!
Swift Blade is not receiving bonuses from Combat Acuity.
Swift Blade, when the capstone for the Deadly Storm trait line is equipped and activated, is the only AoE that does not gain the +10% AoE damage.
Swift Blade, when in Ardour, does not receive bonuses from the 4 set bonus for Deadly Storm - That is to say, the +15% damage and -15% power costs do not impact Swift Blade (and possibly the threat, but I haven't tested to know for sure). Is this intended?
Additionally, anyone know if the "Red Haze" fix in U7 applies only to Fervour/Glory, or also to Ardour's traited version as below?
When equipped with Swift to Anger, Red Haze while in Ardour does not give pips over time like the regular, non-Ardour, non-Swift to Anger Red Haze does.
If a good Champ or three could confirm these, that'd be appreciated by myself and others who still care about this thread, I'm sure. I'm unable to really devote time to play the game right now. Thanks again to whoever is awesome!

I can only confirm that it is now working as intended in both Fervour and Glory...I don't think the Ardour traited version was ever suppossed to (IIRC the tooltip indicates 1 fervour pip per kill and that's it).
*Just double checked and the tooltip states: "Red Haze activates when you enter Ardour and rewards 1 Fervour for a target defeat; Red Haze is permanent while in Ardour."
So basically in F/G its pips up front plus pips over time while in Ardour it is 1 pip/kill...period. Not sure if its as big a benefit as originally planned but it certainly appears to be WAI.

That's what I've always believed as well, but I don't personally recall ever seeing a statement from a dev or a diary or whatever clearly indicating that this was intended, so I put it on just for sake of consistency and that nagging "just in case" OCD part of my brain.
Re: The Post-RoI Champ's Questions and Clarifications Thread
In the very small realm of "good things" from U7, I'm happy to report that Red Haze (in Fervour, anyway) appears to now grant the old over-time pips that have been broken since RoI but *also* grants two pips right away like it had been doing.

This is the skill granting one pip as it's supposed to, and additionally beginning the "one every 15s timer" and granting one there. One at 0s, one at 15s, and one just for hitting the skill. But good, thank you, I'll update it!
EDIT: Anyone know if Controlled Burn's pips-over-time is working correctly, while we're at it?

Actually your "just in case" moment made me go back and look at Orion's updates and I found this gem:
Swift to Anger (moves to Deadly Storm from Berserker) Swift Strike generates additional Fervour on critical hits. When in Ardour, Swift Strike becomes Swift Blade targeting 3 targets in a 90 degree angle in front of the champion and Red Haze is turned on with ardour granting an addition fervour pip every 15 seconds and 1 on every enemy defeat.
emphasis mine
The only further mention of Red Haze in the RoI progression was from the patch notes (and God those are still a mess to go through since they seem to assume everyone read the blog ) and Red Haze/Swift to Anger is mentioned twice:
Skill: Red Haze: This skill will no longer remain permanently active after used. If traited, the bonus will apply in Ardour, though there is no icon.
Trait: Swift to Anger: Now correctly alters “Red Haze” while in Ardour. There is even a handy icon visible to show you that the effect is there...and working...and stuff.
I now have the need to go back and check some more in Ardour...I'm wondering if its definitely not WAI (or at least not WAIndicated) or possibly combat gated. Anyway I'm gonna keep /bug reporting things (and I'm REALLY banging hard on the True Heroics thing). I also want to see if they've played with Merciful Strikes again, will let folks know.

You, sir, are a genius. Nice find. So it IS supposed to grant pips every 15s in ADDITION to the pips on kill - at least since we heard last. The recent change seems to imply that that's not intended, but if so, we were not informed. Ever. This is the type of stuff I want to clear up with this thread, so fantastic find. I'll add that right away.
Regarding True Heroics, what specifically are you referring to? There've been a few TH bugs and whackiness. And this all still isn't with Controlled Burn's pips thingy in mind.

I did that testing with TH and the stance jumping but I want to see if there are some combat related issues with the power push. There were a couple mentions (in the Exalted Combatant thread) of folks seeing the text issue that I noted as being related to TH...so I'm wondering if part of the issue with TH's functionality might be combat related. If other folks are seeing Exalted Combatant power heals [which are really TH power heals] while in comabt and in stance (and that's what it sounded like in the thread) I'd like to see if I can reproduce it. Basically I'm wanna go back and play with TH a bit more I've just gotta go bribe some kinnies in to standing around for 20-30 minutes of IC/OOC time doing nothing important so I have nice clean combat logs to look at
That and re-checking Merciful to see if they are ever going to make it worthwhile in terms of dmg/pip at the 3-5 pip range. So anyway hope to have results on those soonish.

Oh look a new patch....with nothing for champ fixes aside from acknowledging that the SB issue is in fact not WAI.

Looks like they patched SS/SB again, so time to go testing it some more to see if its well and truly fixed or if they've kicked the can down the road again.
"We can deny our heritage and our history, but we cannot escape responsibility for the result...but we cannot defend freedom abroad by deserting it at home. " - E R Murrow
It's "fixed" now. The skill is getting the benefit of both the AoE power reduction legacy and the Swift Strike/Swift Blade power reduction legacy, as it should, and it now has the very short duration of its former awesome self.
Hilariously, though, it has both its old animation and a sped-up version of the Blade-wall animation at the same time. Kinda looks cool/silly, and the skill functions as intended, so I'm not gonna complain.
