So yeah, I have a 75 warden, 65 burg and a 60 runekeeper that I've played nearly completely solo due to really strange and obscure play times, and now that I've been playing a bit in normal person hours I want to be a more normal mmo player and play with other people. Atm I'm only playing the warden and RK.
Main problem for me is, after just playing solo, I don't know the group-raid encounters, and my main being a warden, I'm way too scared to ask in glff or lff because, who wants to group a tank that doesn't know all the instances and encounters? I'm not a complete moron, and I guess I'm really here to just ask if any casual-ish people want a warden to run school/library or some 6 person instances that won't mind telling any important info about whatever boss or mobs are about to get pulled.
Maybe I should have just called the thread noob lff, so yeah, I'm mostly on Escara and Eskara, if anyone wants a noob then message away~
No need to be afraid of asking, they can not see you behind your schreen anyway but, well, yea where you are getting at but remember those who yell the most in LFF/GLFF probably are the ones knowing least. You could seek out some of the casual kinships.
Many of casual players/kins do not mind telling what happens/going to happen and how to deal with it and you do not have to be main tank but can take it easy as a dps or backup healing.
No need to worry really, only the fools will yell at you if you simply tell you do not know the instance from start and those you do not want to play with anyway
Ive played since beta and have seen a lot of top level players yagging along but inspecting them you notice severe lacks in their knowledge about their char and playing with them sometimes does the same but still they go on and on. Let them.
The point of all this is you have to come forward and drop the shyness, they can not reach you or see you.
If they are morons, dump them and move on to others who are more friendly.

I have also been playing since beta, have several lvl75s and the remainder are 30-65. But I am in the same situation.
Yes, there is an element of shyness, but there is a much stronger desire not to be verbally abused by other players. I play LotRO for entertainment after all. But I find that too many people sit by and watch while what you call a moron offloads their anger onto a less experienced player for botching an instance.
I'd suggest joining a kin and seeing what the people are like while doing a bit of PVE (which you know you can do) and then, when you know them and they know you, explain your predicament and then let them teach you the various instances and raids.
