Explorer, any class recommended to ease the gathering ?
I am about to star my self an Explorer, I have many Character started and what slows them down is indeed the profession/crafting.
First, I cant gather fast enough to raise my crafting properly so it follow my lvl (Weapon/armor wise)
Second, since my crafting does not lvl fast enought, my weapon and armor are always out leveled !!
So, creating that gatherer will help reduce that lvl difference between my crafting and character lvl but, are there any class recommended for faster/better gathering ?

Your warden will make the best gatherer probably. That speed boost makes running around gathering fairly-near-by nodes a snap. You have some ports to places that can get you anywhere you need to be in quick order.
Pretending that something didn't happen, doesn't make it so.

While I agree Warden would be better than a lot of classes my vote goes to a Hunter. For the reasons Caerfinon as well as being able to track rare elites for assorted shards & mithril flakes. The ports & Find The Path run increase are also helpful as heck.
I've spent a lot of time on my main just collecting resources from all over the place to level up crafting alts, doing it on any class that doesn't have lots of ports would annoy me
Re: Explorer, any class recommended to ease the gathering ?
My explorer is a hunter, the travel ports, speed and tracking ability make a hunter pretty much ideal for explorer. Warden would do a good job too though they lack the tracking ability, if you prefer a more melee type character.
Re: Explorer, any class recommended to ease the gathering ?
Hunter has the advantage of more ports (though this advantage is really minimal), the "always on" run buff. Tracking, while useful, isn't terribly important for gather hides, since one tends to go to areas with concentrations of the right mobs. Also good are the stun/root/fear skills (chase the mob away from the node, gather it, and LEAVE).
Warden has the advantage of high survivability if you must fight. Even faster run buff, so long as you're not going to be in combat. Ranged attacks can be almost as good distance as Hunter with the right LI legendary.
Re: Explorer, any class recommended to ease the gathering ?
Ok so, I do like my Warden but, he his 41 and quite advance in his own profession so, I would not remaster him but start from new. I have a full family started to cover all class, profession and guilds. None of them are higher than lvl 10 but most of them have already learned recipies.
So, I got 2 slot left and was thinking of using on for an Hunter explorer... I will go to general discution for leveling plan question but, before I proceed, any last minute advices ?

Let me throw in a vote for Loremaster. I can't argue the benefits of speed, porting, etc., but nevertheless...
When a node is guarded or near an NPC of any sort, all the crowd control makes it so easy to gather. Mez multiple mobs. Send your pet to occupy any remaining mobs. You can simply avoid combat totally if you simply want to gather. Just can't beat it imho!
