I play on withywindle but made a player on snowbourn. The population on snowbourn seems a 3 times larger than withy. Im quite sure as the others that the server cant handle the high poluation so good. The only thing there is to do is upgrade from turbines side. Or allow free transfers from snowbourn to withywindle :-)

I don't think this is the case - we didn't have the lag before update 6. I doubt if the population has changed significantly since then - if anything it's likely to have gone down as people are put off by these problems.

lol, "while it wasn't mentioned in release notes" is another way to say "we don't want to officially talk about this or get any more negative PR."

Lag/hitching is still as bad as ever, so I guess that's 0-3 on the attempt to "fix" the issue. But hey, maybe now, after 4 months, you finally have the tools to "maybe" be able to find out what the issue even is, and then "maybe" fix it...

Sigh.

Could be good news. Have to wait and see, but not holding my breath, I think it's a pretty knotted complicated problem to sort out.

Keep the threads going and the pressure on It's up to Turbine alone to analyse and fix this quite unacceptable issue that they are well aware of.

Agree, its most notable during 12 man raids, specifically in the ToO.

Yesterday night game was pretty unplayable in the Ettenmoors i had more than 7 second of skill lag, the blue volcano icon was always active and this made me angry till i logged out, thx Turbine 4 make us enjoing the lag experience ...

At 28-9-2012 at 22.30 h local Amsterdam time the snowbourn server died. Judging by the comments worldwide just before I lost the server connection dozens of other people suffered lagspikes, rubberbanding and gamefreezes. This is UNACCEPTABLE turbine! Below par! One of the oldest and most densely populated servers deserves better. Moving the server away from Europe didnt help at all for the performance of its European player base but this just ends gameplay and fun altogether. Get your act together!

what is going on? (i play for like a good 1 month (maybe 1,5 month) just windows 7 bullied me by restarting due to updates while i was playing fullscreen, now i want to log back in and snowbourn is offline as only server?

Based on negative experiences for over a year now I actually hope they will never get the server back up until it is completely replaced by new hardware.

Server is up again, yes, but hopefully this adds to the long list of problems this server has had and finally gets some attention... for whatever reason, performance on Snowy is much worse than on other servers, and as one of the higher population servers it really ruins gameplay.
