    Greetings from across the pond

    Hi Gilrain, this yank has started playing on your server, and I have been enjoying it so far. I work overnights on the east coast of US, so it makes sense for me to play either an oceanic server or a euro server. Figured I would give Gilrain a go and see what happens, I decided to start fresh here instead of bringing over any characters from the US servers I have. At the moment, I am just working on a warden, Karmakaze. Look forward to seeing you guys in game

    So this is officially a British server? I was wondering why it was sandwiched on the list between various European ones.

    Also is there some reason why Gilrain is not on this list:

    It's a dutch server where english is the main language

    It's an English-speaking European server with people from all over Europe speaking English. Me, I'm Norwegian.

    Also, that thread is ancient and outdated. Only american servers are listed.

    Hi, I am from accross the pond as well. I found myself playing mostly late night and on us servers and was playing alone most of the time. I had been on a few servers looking for one that suited me which I had found in Gilrain. The most friendly and helpfull bunch of people I have met on any server and now I'm proud to call it my home.

    I like to scatter around random acts of kindness where I can - drive by buffing on cappie, a rez or a badly-needed heal on mini (and waiting around to see if someone will need the heal). Sure, not all the time, cos we all get absorbed in what we're doing. But, see, here's the thing: I'm nothing special. Because on this wonderful server I've been on the receiving end of more random acts of kindness than I can count.

    Sure, we have a tiny number of prats. But many more good acts have come from other players than destructive, selfish or unhelpful ones.

    So welcome to what is, overall, a very special server with very many special people on it!
