This happen to anyone else? When running the combat anaylsis with combat logging active i get silly amounts of lag in a raid situation. Even when im not connected to a server, just analysing my own combat log.
My PC is ok, runs the game perfectly in Ultra High all situations, even ettens raids with no to minimal lag. Both the game and the plugin run from an SSD so load times shouldnt be an issue.
If i close the actual application but keep the combat logging it continues but as soon as i "stop" the combat logging the lag stops. Its bizare.

Anyone had this? any suggestions?
Are you just using it locally or pulling/pushing to a server? I don't think I've seen lag locally (will keep an eye on it) but I know many have run into issues with the server implementation of it.
Just a tip:
Some Antivirus programs will scan files continously on your computer, and this might not always be a good combination with the combat log parsing and CAs parsing of said log.
Personally, I have to turn off automated scanning of files in Norman Security Suite to avoid lag when running CA. If not, I get frequent lag spikes of HUGE durations. Something in the region of a 20 second lag spike every 1 or 2 minutes and they may come back-to-back as well...
Yup, took me a while to work out what was killing my performance (not much effect when I started the client, but it got worse and worse until it was unplayable) and it turned out it was CombatAnalysis. I'm also using an SSD (OCZ Agility 3).
Looking forward to it being updated to eliminate this problem, great plugin otherwise.
Ahh cheers for the replies guys, glad its not just me. I am running it locally, not over a sever so i thought it was strange that it caused such lag. Eagerly awaits the update
