Greetings, maggots! I would like to thank all of those who have the courage to display their playlists. Let it be known that I watch and listen to each and every contribution with an open mind. I thank you all for expanding my horizons. I would now like to reach out to all the dudes who's ladies' love that stupid Twilight series. I hate how my girl can hold me hostage with a word when she wants to view these lame movies. Thankfully, she does not frequent these forums, and I am free to voice my opinion without fear of retribution!
I hate Twilight. I think it is super lame. Whenever I watch this dramafest with my girl I can not help but think of ways to make this garbage bearable for me. I look on with horror as the soundtrack to these flicks does nothing to mitigate the lifelong damage I am defending against. I would like to bring some songs that relate to Vampirism from way back to light in the midst of these dark days. These are NOT SUITED FOR CHILDREN or the faint of heart as the lyrics have been included(just click on the "show more" icon to reveal the whole page of lyrics in the first song...) Enjoy!
ok maggots, I haven't been around much the last couple of weeks, sort of taking a break from the game and sniffing out all the other great stuff out there (wife, swtor, skyrim). Be that as it may, here's 4 songs to kick off your Friday and the link to more.
Wilco - born again
the Black Keys - Lonely Boy - aren't we all, especially Cletus!
Foster the People - Don't stop (color on the walls)...with special guest Precious! and some man love at the end, funny @ss video
Adele - Rolling In the Deep ....the B*tch is back! she's awesome

Howdy, maggots! I love the new tunes posted by our regulars. We need MORE peeps to post their tunes asap! Heres a few of my favorite tunes I like to listen to LOUDLY while manning the grill. Yeah, eat it! I'm in NC and today was a balmy 73 degrees. My neighbors from Trinidad always hook me up with awesome tunes to grill by, but these tunes I found all by myself. I did not bother trying to find lyrics with translations. I feel these tunes are perfect by themselves and mystery is always welcome. I know African music that is widely distributed is hopelesly watered down. I feel that the soul of these tunes will live forever even though they are played on western instruments. Enjoy! I would love anyone to link some authentic African music!
I would now like to call out a few people to contribute their favorite tunes to this thread. I would like to really know who these folks are by their music:
Akara
Aza
Meleo
Adino
Rikz
Alsander
Drkavorkian
Tebow
Screamo
Rubi
Fry
Evenia
I don't expect my whole list to contribute. I know those that have balls will participate. Carry on, maggots!

Akara
Aza

Adino
Rikz
Alsander Drkavorkian - pfft, wth is this butchering of my name!?
Tebow
Screamo
Rubi
Fry
Evenia
I don't expect my whole list to contribute. I know those that have balls will participate. Carry on, maggots!
First of all, learn to spell my name when you address me, maggot. I deserve respect!
Second, I've been called a lot of things for a lot of reasons, but never been called a coward for not sharing tunes before.
I've been following the thread and there's been a lot of music that I already listen to and some that was a great new discovery. I just haven't posted because I'm pretty random and indecisive with my music. I'm all over there place and there is so much that I wouldn't know where to begin and could never narrow it down to such a small list.
Maybe I'll try to just randomly select something to post, but as I said, I'm too indecisive to narrow it down. lol.
<3 Bonnie
In the meantime, for your auditory suffering, I bring you...
Haha, Dr. K.! Aint no way I'm gonna spend an eternity to actually type out your long name! I feel ya, though, on being musically scatterbrained. Just take my lead and stick to 3 songs of the same genre per post. From what I gathered from your link, I would advise you to put your helmet back on. Haha link some real tunes girl!
Aza! Cool links bro! I love foreign chicks! That chick singing in the 2nd link is smokin. I like the other tunes, but I can't help but get distracted by hot foreign chicks. Keep em coming as I know you like diversity in music. Don't link hot chicks if you want someone to pay attention to a particular link.
Thanks again to those that would like to contribute to this thread.
It's been a while since I've run my WL thru the moors, but my connection sucks and my gaming rig has been unstable for the last couple months. Anyway, here's more stuff I like.
Here's a chick I went to high school with. She's pretty rad.
Speaking of High School, this album, specifically this song, got me through it (at least the 2.5 years I put up with High School before finding an easy way out).
And then there's this. Because it should be required listening for anyone in the moors. Or for anyone who has dealt with needy noobs. http://youtu.be/AkFqg5wAuFk
Haha, Moe! I remember them tunes like yesterday! Killer ads, man.
We need more ppl to add, please.
I was walking to my car tonight when I happened upon a strange sight. It's kinda cold at night where I am at right now. You would expect others to dress accordingly. I have to cut across an alley, sometimes, when I park my car for work in the morning. I did so, and I almost ran into a guy about to tap the vein at about 7:45 in the morning. It was freezing out and all this old, white guy had on was some brown draws and some kinda flannel jacket. Our eyes met only briefly as he suddenly went back to digging for gold on his arm. I kept going forward and our eyes met again. I just stepped over this guy without even wanting to know his name. What the hell?! I just walked on by as I bore witness to Human Suffering in it's most basic form. Am I that jaded? This pang of remorse did not even cross my mind until now...more like an afterthought while going through the motions of going to bed. What is this world we live in?
Here is just ONE song that immidiatley came to mind...
I don't care if it isn't cool to you. Just follow the lyrics, and you will get where I am coming from... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0qtFL4JB2QQ
Normally I hate Christmas music. But some is far better than others.I hope some other people have good contributions for me to listen to.Oh and Happy Holidays <3
For HoH and deafies like me this its more what our Christmas songs look like then sound like I think this song is so silly.
Cool ads, guys! Tonite was a glorious night. My buddies wanted me to come out and shoot some pool. Little did they know I had a secret weapon lined up for them. I am not a pro at shootin' pool, but I know my way around the table. Somehow, I transform into the most awesome shot in billiards whenever I hear these 3 songs play at the bar. These tunes speak the same language my soul does and I can't help but excell at anything when they are playing. I make sure to line these up on the Jukebox whenever there is some action at the bar. Enjoy!
My computer lately hasn't been able to run lotro for 15 mins without shutting down abruptly, so i haven't been on as much.
But, when I do freep, these are three songs I listen to frequently (: hope you all enjoy.

Amazing songs for sure.CCR is my all time favorite band.<3 these choices.
Greetings, maggots! Cool ads, Ost! Thanks for enjoying my ads, real Boom. CCR is like bread and butter. Feel free to post your favorite tunes!
I was driving home the other day while it was raining, and there was a song playing on the radio we have all heard a million times. It was "We Are The Champions" by Queen. I was about to reflexively turn the station, but something stayed my hand. There was something about this tune we have all grown tired of that caught me by surprise. The beat of this song did not match the beat of the windshield wipers. I'll be darned, but this song is a waltz! This new discovery prompted me to re-evaluate my entire library of music. I did a brain-scan of some of my favorite tunes, and came up with a few surprises...
These 3 songs of different genres are waltzes that have been sneaking around like burgs for years. I feel like an idiot in the fact that I am just now realizing what they are. These are just the first tunes that come to mind as I am sure there are many other hidden waltzes out there. Feel free to add to the hidden waltz list for my own sanity. (for the record I have already added a waltz with Jimmy Hendix's "Red House")
Happy New Year, maggots! I hope everyone had a great holiday. I know I have. It seems I have left out a certain genre of music in just about all of my posts on this thread. That would be country music. Tbh, I really don't like much of this style of music as it is rife with lameness. 99.9% of country music makes my ears bleed. There are a few exceptions, though. I am a fan of the oldschool gangsters of country music. Here are the only 3 country songs you will ever catch me listening to. I hope this satisfies those who harass me about excluding the genre.
*SPOILER* Yall CAN man-up and post your own country tunes!!!!lmao
Greetings, maggots! Polishing off a great day and posting some long awaited country tunes while downing some brew has spurred me on to post 3 more of my forgotten country favorites. Like I said...I am a fan of the old country gangsters, and these next 3 tunes will definitely reflect that. Hold on to something, and leave your guns at home.
I feel a rush of adrenaline at the thought of slaughtering my old enemies again. It's been far too long your flesh has not known the tender caress of my blades. No other beast can ease your passing quite like I can. Look upon the skies with despair as the darkness takes hold. It seems the sky is turning red. I am the duality of reality.
This is for all the dirty freeps who feel they need that extra oomph to kill me. Use your cd's all you want. You will still die. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qllxmE8F8is
Too many good songs goin' on in my head all day, so thought i'd post a couple funny ones from the local morning radio show. I guess if you're not from the Steel City you might not get it, but oh well :P All songs are spoofs of real songs except the last one, who is a local rapper who's blowin' up lately
Greetings, maggots! I am saddened by the rumors of the fraid leader's departure. I really wanted to test his skills upon my arrival. Adino, this song is for you and you alone. From one warrior to another, I bid thee farewell...(this is another waltz btw)
Greetings, maggots! After showing my respects for the dead, I have begun listening to some soft and slow tunes. Here are 3 more "oldie but goodie" tunes I have kickin' 'round in my head atm. I hope you enjoy them, maggots!
"What's with all the Slayer?"(a question a lot are asking) Hip Hop would not be the same if it were not for Slayer.
Ha! Yall just don't know. Reality and Slayer go hand-in-hand. Hip Hop, a vocal rendition of reality, wouldn't be as popular today with white people(who make up a large portion of sales to Hip Hop artists) if it were not for the legendary producer, Rick Rubin. He had a vision for reality back then. Slayer was and is a conduit into reality for the time. It just so happens that The Beasty Boys had the same producer as Slayer did back when Rap music was at the mercy of white people's interests in order to survive(by survive I mean to make sales and grow). I know he is out of his element in the video, but Kerry King of Slayer truely thrashed at these moments.(all lead guitar solos are played by Kerry King of Slayer in the next 2 songs) The last song is Rick Rubin's latest hit in the Hip Hop category in my opinion.(Rick Rubin also produced a country and metal band in the 2000's. I will talk about these later.)
Greetings, maggots! I know I sorta hijacked this thread. I use this thread as others would a blog. I want to thank all who have contributed to this thread. You made my job a little easier. Thanks again to those who have contacted me with requests and intellectual debates on music. It is my goal to eventually have just about every type of music known to man to be readily accessable throughout the course of this thread. I do, however, put my personal spin on things, and run all songs through the filter that is my soul. I do tend to play more of my music than anything else, but I am only human. Sue me.
I was going to post some songs my girl was playing earlier, but decided to go ahead with what is next on the menu...Gypsy music! I don't know a lot about the people that live from England to Russia, and all the way down to Spain, but one thing I can say is...these guys know how to jam! Forgive me if these additions do not speak for the entire nation of gypsies. No lyrics or translations have been attempted by me. Just music. I hope you enjoy them!
HAHA, maggots! Time for a double-play! I've been slackin' in my duties of bringing you global music. Here is my next contribution to the thread. This is Greek music. I have no clue what they are saying, but this is my girl's favorites of the genre. She always plays these when she cooks for me. She says this is what her dad liked. I hope this speaks for most greeks. I really do like your type of food. Enjoy, maggots!
Who here remembers the "triple thrash threat"?. +rep to any who can indulge me. This is my 3rd instalment of tunes for the night. Yes, there is Slayer involved. Do you have diplomatic immunity? I think not. These are some spins from some old classic rock tunes I think you will enjoy. I know I do! Slayer, Maggots!
This next Slayer song is a bit extreme. It talks about The Holocaust. It talks, in depth, about the practices of a certain doctor named Josef Mengele. This guy was pure scum. Chances are your government paid this guy for his data and turned a blind eye upon his "escape" from Nazi Germany in the 1940's. There are some idiotic white supremists who think this song is their anthem. Slayer meant for this song to be a documentary of a sort. If you follow the lyrics closely, you can tell they do not condone these practices. They are merely the messengers of reality. Enjoy this true shredding tune from 1984, maggots! No other song in the history of metal has even come close to topping it in nearly three decades. I wish the Jewish people get their final revenge.
Greetings, maggots! Now it is time for the next installment of global music! What's on the menu tonite? Just some curry goat with 2 sides of red beans and rice, and some cabbage. That's right, maggots! Reggae is what the doctor ordered. Allow me to introduce myself...
What? You were expecting some Bob Marley? Fk BM! Haha nah for real BM is ok he's just so accepted by whitey that it makes me sick to hear white folk play him. I'm sorry, but BM has only one song that transcends the acceptance of whitey.(I am white btw so it's not racist) There are a ton more better reggae songs than this. White folk just aint got around to posting it yet. Enjoy, maggots!
Greetings, maggots! Get your "silk ties" and "little black dresses" ready, because we're going to the theatre! Here are some of my picks if we were in a high brow setting. If only I could have the cash to hire a group of musicians like this to follow me around...Enjoy, maggots!
After searching for more Vivaldi played by that same hot chick from the post above, I just had to crack up. I was totally diggin' on how hot she was and how awesome she is when I happened to notice the dude behind her staring at her a$$ and making some funny faces. At first I thought she must not be wearing any underwear, but that guy made those faces throughout the whole performance lmao. I hope you get a few chuckles like me, and hear some good music at the same time. Carry on, maggots!
Tonite was omelet night! I made the 1st one perfect. I was making my own when I totally jacked it up. I thought I was a pro and messed up flipping the omelet with a pan-flick rather than using my spachela. The runny-side-down landed on the burner with a "splat", and I was laughed at. I rescued the mess from the stove-top and still managed to salvage the mangled wreck from the burner. I had a sorta crunchy omelet with bits of whatever dropped on the stove-top from a few nights ago. It was lame. I had a pile of pepper-jack cheese waiting on the side to be added to my omelet. I was enduring torrents of laughter from my girl while she was chowing down when a pang of genius suddenly struck me. Lame...cheese...lame and cheesy. It suddenly occured to me what my next installment of tunes will be. The 80's, maggots! Only those who were a kid in the 80's would appreciate this. The first video is from one of my all-time favorite movies. The rest are just the most cheesy songs I can think of. Enjoy, maggots!
In defense of the 80's, not all music that came from it was a huge, steaming pile. These are the quickest songs that came to mind to redeem the era. These are solely from my point of view. I hope you enjoy them, maggots!
Speaking of the 80's, this is the time my love affair with video games began. I have always had a soft spot in my heart for the old music from these games. Here are a few of the tunes that forever imprinted themselves on my soul. I hope this brings back some fond memories for you, maggots! The first one is the first game tune I ever learned how to play on the guitar.
Balance is needed on this thread, again. In order to counter the cheesyness of the 80's I am forced to bring you more Slayer. This goes well with my upcoming arrival along with the new update. I fear the souls that have been trapped in that mass grave at upper norbogs plan to revolt. Here is their anthem.
Here is a song from the latest good album that I liked. Unfortunately, you will have to pay attention as there are no lyrics available atm. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFq4qtSkSys
I really love old-school hiphop. I love metal even more. My hackles rise at the sound of old hiphop played in a band setting. Here are a few tunes that were originally hiphop, but then redone by a band. This is from the album "Take a bite outta Rhyme" I hope you enjoy them, maggots!
"The Dungeon Family". What gamer in the age of MMO's wouldn't like any crew who called themselves this? Outkast has been doing this for years, maggots! Take a few steps with me along the shady streets of ATL. These are the most beautiful, fkd up streets in the world. So sit down, hold your wallets, and let the MARTA take you to College Park/East Point. Aint no thang...
As I sit here DL'ing the game, I have come to the realization that I have excluded one of my favorite bands from this thread. Metallica is like Slayer in the fact that there is a LOT of content to sift through. Allow me to start off with my favorites upon having first heard of this band by my own means. These are not your radio station's picks. This is from the first cassette I ever had enough $ to buy on my own. My brothers ended up borrowing (ganking) this tape from me. (To never see again) They got their payback from me always ninja'ing their tapes. I had a good run, too, considering they never suspected a little kid like me to jack all their good tapes lmao! I can still smell the scent of the ink and paper they used to make this album when I cracked the seal. I walked to the mall as a 12 year old kid to buy this tape at the local Camelot Music store lol. You will enjoy them, maggots!
Ha! Metallica is one of the guiding forces that got me through my youth. I will never forget how I got goosebumps from my first time hearing them. Yes, I ganked this album from one of my brothers. Did I get a beatdown from him? Hell yes, and it was worth it. Here's my 3 picks from the album titled "Kill em' All". Not many folks know that Dave Mustaine from Megadeth was the lead guitarist on this album. He had to be one crazy bastage for Metallica to kick him out of the band. Enjoy, maggots!
Greetings, maggots! I am a creature of habit, and bound by the laws of chronology. Here's my 3 picks from Metallica's album "Ride The Lightning". God, I feel like a kid again by listening to these. Enjoy, maggots!
