The new Evanescence album is very good. Here's the first single. I saw them in Oakland the day before the new album hit, and bought it at the show. http://youtu.be/wVWazHTunSI
Has anyone mentioned the greatest band ever, Tool? The hard part is narrowing a selection down to just one... Watch the vid, tho, their vids are always epic, and this one is no exception. http://youtu.be/YTBpBZ281c8
Well finally caught a 30 year ban on this account. I would just reroll, but fly out for Lagos on the 15th to fufill a work contract in the Niger Delta anyways. So later days all, it's been cool kicking it online with you this past year. Some goodbye jams:

Ah yes. It is still makes me laugh that the game encourages you to kill people, but swearing is considered off-limits.
Farewell.
I always wanted to participate on this thread, but I don't know how to link. Yall are just gonna have to suffer...

I love your opinionated ways.It makes you,you.
And as heated as the moors can get people you've never taken out any frustration on me personally or our friendship which is more than I can say for most the server so I'd say you aren't that hot-headed
You're a fantastic player on any toon you play. You stand up for things that are important to you and what you think is right.Which I admire a lot.
You've always been my friend and such a sweetheart.I don't remember one time I healed or rezzed you that I didn't get a thank you.Where as most people I can't remember one time I got one.
I love you Krime I hope you reroll when life doesn't have you so busy.
Please take care and stay safe. And if ya need an e-pen pal.I'm here.

This is the saddest news in LOTRO in awhile. The server is going to be dull without you. You are a great player and person and it's a great loss to have another one of the Ridder vets gone, the Moors will suffer for it.
The petty immaturity and vindictive behavior of people is so ridiculously out of hand. You may not like someone, you may want to do something to exact revenge on someone, but you're better off growing up and taking it out on them in the Moors. Don't like what someone says? Be an adult and just put them on ignore, I don't care what "the rules" are, it's pretty obvious that the main reason most people report is out of immaturity and and pettiness toward an individual. In the end, getting people banned hurts the server as a whole as we lose valuable players and friends. Unless of course you like easymoding and farming your points, then report away I guess.

Beautiful Music, Couillon. Is it just me or does that beautiful young thing doing the singing look a lot like Natalie Wood? I can see why you have a hard time taking your eyes off of her...

Haha!! My bad man! I am a stranger to the arts of creole. I cant help but think of that scene in Harlem Nights when Redd Fox and Richard Pryor were talking about how a creole chick can put a hex on you by burying your underwear in your front yard and you cant leave your house lol.
Creole chick? Ha! It matters not as she bears 10 of my sons and cooks us gator gumbo every day!
+rep Flesh..technically she's cajun ;D no matter, all the more reason to shutdown the puter and head to the dancehall!
in south Louisiana creole refers to people of mixed race, predominately African though in other parts of the globe, it carries different meanings.
here's the lyrics to that tune...it's an old cajun song with a Feufollet twist.
Au fond du lac (Anna Laura Edmiston--yeah that's her)
English translation
There’s a rock at the bottom of the lake where my love is sleeping
There is a lake below the bridge where he cried
But if one day he decides to come back to the surface of the water
I might just be able to console him Refrain
The sky was so beautiful before you brought the rain
But one gets used to being flooded
The flowers and the sun, I miss all day long
Give me back all that you took from me There are misfortunes scattered throughout the house where he loved me
From where you can still hear screams
One can hear the echoes of all the years that we spent
Overturning each others’ souls Refrain
What can I do in order to forget?

Wow that chick needs to get laid lmao! Nah for real very sad lyrics. Cajun blues? Either way awesome tune. You guys wanna see the musical chick that makes my blood boil? Go to you tube and check out Ana Vidovic. She is a classical guitarist. I would burn the world for just one night with that chick. The ultimate in chick badassery. She can put all dudes who think they can shred to shame and make them toss their guitars into the sea. And shes super fine to boot. Go to youtube and enter these 3 artists and check them out. Flamenco guitarist rule the world!
-Ana Vidovic- La Catedral should be the first one you check out to see her melt your screen
-Pepe Romero
-Carlos Montoya
Check them out! I am a self taught guitarist and try to emulate these sounds. I started out with Slayer and Metallica in high school. Once I heard the spanish guitar played by Andres Segovia I was hooked. I like Flamenco the best when I am not in the hiphop/metal mood. I am not a fan of the stomping/clapping/singing flamenco. I like it best when its just one guitarist owning it. Enjoy!
WTH! Can I get a witness from anyone who sees how that hot chick and 2 old dudes would destroy you? Is music really dead? Maybe I walk alone on these forums. All good! Carry on, maggots!
Yo! Just wanna test my link skills and drop some true slaying tunes on ya.
Slayer-War Ensemble http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7OkYHiSFenM&ob=av2e
Slayer-Seasons in the Abyss http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JPUe1nv4gIk&ob=av2e
These are videos from the same album from back in the day (my childhood) and have been the soundtrack to many freep deaths. The album is called Seasons in the Abyss by Slayer circa 1990. It's a shame how today's metal has no balls. This metal is timeless and delivers a punch with technical prowess. Try to follow the lyrics for an extra punch.

This is a bonus track Angel of Death from a Slayer fan. This is a public announcement for safety letting everyone know a mosh pit can occur at any time.
On a lighter note, I would like to convey to you some of my favorite chill-mode tunes.
Ana Vidovic playing some dead guy's song. Check her out. Like her on facebook. We need more young people to see this. We need the youth to see what the Kardashian's can't do. Send to a friend and spread the word about real people making real music. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G4YngQ49dSw
An awesome interview with the lovely Ana Vidovic. Any guitarist can learn a little from this short video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rHEccPivH9U
My favorite piece from Ms. Vidovic by Astor Piazolla(part2 not sure of the name of the piece but it takes place around 4:10 check it out) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BEJ8ZGTaxgw
Old master flamenco guitarist Carlos Montoya. His corpse has more talent than the musicians that make music today. Before you call me an old guy I am only 35. Take a gander at raw emotion in it's purest form. This is Tarantas. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EEPLNaUR8lw
This is Farruca from the same guy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cv2Fyjk0GGM
I hope you enjoy this now that I have linked them. Please feel free to talk about this here. We need to keep real music alive and not let the synthesizer kill everything we have accomplished for the past couple hundred years.
Very nice picks, aza. #1 was ok to me. It did not make my blood boil. I do not carry that gene. It was a cool rendition of what is probably a historical piece for that people. #2 was very cool. I welcome change and that song was a definite candidate. I love how the folksy vocals of that song was, should I say, watered down for conventional western approval. I would love to hear what that song really sounded like two centuries ago. #3 was better. It was a good tune spiced up with hot foreign chicks. I don't know what it is about them foreign chicks, but their hotness seems amplified whenever I see them. I appreciate the new music you have revealed to me. I will look into them in depth. Bring on more tunes, maggots!

Wow, some very distinct selections and that's a good thing...just the variety and diversity i like to see.
I've got one link this week and that is NPR's music blog. Hey, remember this is the same station that brought you Car Talk, morning edition, wait wait don't tell me, this american life...ok, you get the picture..i'm a fan boy. Enjoy
SRV is a beast. Thanks for the posts, guys. I welcome new tunes. I'm in a chill mood tonite and I would like to link 3 of my favorite tunes for the night. I was born up north, but grew up in the Dirty South. Here is my attempt on droppin some southern comfort on all yall. Enjoy!
These are some oldschool hiphop tunes I grew up with. I hope you can get these guys by what they really sound like. All those radio hits did not do them justice, but they did make them rich haha. Later, maggots!

Keep that SRV coming, Gun! I can never get enough of that guy's blues mastery.
Awesome contribution, Scuppers. I don't believe I've had the pleasure of slaying you in the moors, though. Maybe I just didn't see the only hobbit guardian on RM that pvp's. Those shrubs can get tall in the moors. Keep on posting new tunes!
I am in the mood for a story tonite! And when I get this feeling there's only one band for me that comes to mind that can deliver...Iron Maiden!!!!!! Here's three of my favorites from way back in the day and I was just a kid stealing my brother's cassettes for a few hours to jam out. These long songs are like watching the whole lotr series in one 10 minute session! I have made sure to include the versions with lyrics and the best sound.
To Tame a Land-Iron Maiden...I didn't realise this song followed the Dune series of books and was clueless of what they were talking about until I read them. Good thing this song kicked A$$ enough for me to care until I got old enough to read Dune. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_y3o4okKXMU
Alexander the Great-Iron Maiden...This song helped me pass the 8th grade! Well, maybe not to the extent that my final exams quized me on, but one day my History teacher asked the class if we have ever heard of Alexander the Great. After a few awkward moments of frozen students, I finally raised my hand. I didn't tell Mr. Surles I had been sneaking my big brother's tapes of Iron Maiden and listened to a song called Alexander the Great over and over again. I just spouted some of the dates and facts in the lyrics of the song to the class and he was impressed that a kid knew the subject. He gave me mad extra credit! I have always had a passion for ancient history and warfare, and I would like to thank Iron Maiden for allowing their work to reward me in this miniscule way. Oh yeah, this song totally rocks, too! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1oTEQf1d9Iw
My 3rd pick was going to be more oldschool, but I decided to go with the album that proceeded Alexander the Great. This is 7th Son of a 7th Son. It has no historical value, but does tell a cool story that can only be revealed by listening to the whole album which shares this song's name. Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSPO8rvxUGM
