45k Worth of Guild Rep and Weaponsmiths Shopping List
I just did some quick calculations and you can get 45k worth of guild rep on the nose in 7 days. If you were to do it in straight days, this would comprise of:
6 Small Expert
3 Medium Expert
7 Small Artisan
3 Medium Artisan
6 Small Master
3 Medium Master
1 Large Master
7 Small Supreme
3 Medium Supreme
1 Large Supreme
For fellow weaponsmiths, your shopping list is:
138 lumps of coal
60 chunks of rich iron
104 chunks of dwarf iron
114 chunks of ancient iron
40 chunks of Khazad-copper
40 chunks of Khazad-tin
44 chunks of Khazad-iron
To make:
30 High Grade Steel
39 Dwarf Steel
6 Westernesse Steel
50 Elven Steel
13 Ancient Steel
40 Khazad-bronze
20 Khazad-iron
2 Khazad-steel
This does not take into account any crits.
I would still like to double check my calculations but am getting tired of staring at Excel today.
Re: 45k Worth of Guild Rep and Weaponsmiths Shopping List
Oh that doesn't look bad at all. Best part is that you won't have to use any of your Westfold level rep items for anything but crafting. Thanks for putting this together. I hate gathering old school mats, but this makes it easier with a goal in mind.
Re: 45k Worth of Guild Rep and Weaponsmiths Shopping List
Brilliant! I shall get to work straight away, and should be done well before Isengard. I must say, since the NDA was lifted, there is going of be lots content released, I am sure people won't be disappointed.
Re: 45k Worth of Guild Rep and Weaponsmiths Shopping List
One question. I guess there will be new T7 rep items for crafting guild rep items AND you need those items for crafting T7 items too with guild recipies so that current T6 rep items (large supreme and small supreme mainly) are going to be pretty useless?
The reason I am asking is that I noticed I have stacked up some supreme rep items for crafting but never used them, so I could just as well turn them in for rep after RoI is released, right?

Re: 45k Worth of Guild Rep and Weaponsmiths Shopping List
Thanks for working that out. I thought it was 80 k-tin and 80 k-copper ore chunks, but you were right, it's 40. Found out the hard way Everything is 100%.

Re: 45k Worth of Guild Rep and Weaponsmiths Shopping List
Here's an alternate list of emblems if you don't want to make any of the small emblems:
4 Medium Expert (4*1.2k = 4.8k)
3 Medium Artisan (3*1.5k = 4.5k)
4 Medium Master (4*2k = 8k)
2 Large Master (2*4k = 8k)
4 Medium Supreme (4*2.5k = 10k)
2 Large Supreme (2*5k = 10k)
These will get you 45.3 rep points with the guild of your choice in 10 days.

Re: 45k Worth of Guild Rep and Weaponsmiths Shopping List
The thing about Tier 7 crafting is it works a little differently from the past.
For instance, there's no full set of weapons at any given level. Weaponsmiths start off with recipes for a level 66 sword and dagger. They can then find loot recipes for 68 and 72, with levels 70 and 75 being rep-based rewards.
In all:
Level 66 - Calenard Sword, Calenard Dagger (Default)
Level 68 - Westfold Axe, Westfold Mace (Drops)
Level 70 - Dunlending Sword, Dunlending Dagger (Rep)
Level 72 - Decorated Axe, Decorated Mace (Drops)
Level 75 - Axe of the Rider, Sword of the Rider, Dagger of the Rider, Mace of the Rider (Rep, Single-Use / Guild)
Ingots are mined from Skarn nodes, but refine to Low-Quality Calenard Ingots. These in turn refine to Medium-Quality Calenard Ingots. There's a recipe from the Men of Dunland (at the Friend rep level) to make High-Quality Calenard Ingot, which is used in the large guild symbol and most high-end items.
Each node can also drop a 'Chunk of High-Grade Skarn Ore'. These can be refined to a 'Bit of Pure Calenard', the crit item for Weaponsmiths, Metalsmiths, and Prospectors (yes, they have crit items this tier). There's also a recipe from Theodred's Riders (again at Friend level) to directly smelt High-Grade Skarn into High-Quality Calenard.
Oh, and no components. (At least not yet. This is all still in beta, etc.)

Re: 45k Worth of Guild Rep and Weaponsmiths Shopping List
I wrote a guild rep calculator for my kin. I don't have any place to host it so I uploaded it here:
(link removed: going to try to find a better place. this site wants you to download an exe)
Feel free to modify it however you wish, just be sure to post it here if you improve it so I can use it too
It's just html/javascript file so it runs in your browser. I wrote for the pre-Isen guild rep. Just modified it for the additional 45000rep. This is what it comes up with:
8 days
Small Expert: 7
Medium Expert: 3
Small Artisan: 7
Medium Artisan: 3
Small Master: 7
Medium Master: 3
Large Master: 1
Small Supreme: 7
Medium Supreme: 3
Large Supreme: 2

Re: 45k Worth of Guild Rep and Weaponsmiths Shopping List
<Maybe not the best topic to ask in, but as its regarding Weaponsmith...>
Does anybody have/know any further information on the new Tier 7 crafted weapons (+ alternate outputs) at all? It's about the only thing I've been unable to find anything on, other than a screen shot of an Axe in another thread.
My main is Historian (WS Guild/not prospector), luckily i have 25+ Master & Supreme Large emblems to convert for final guild rep, but being unable to farm ore in isen with her will be a pain so i may have to take my warden explorer to 75 first to stand a chance of tiering it up.

... I can't +rep you until I find some other amazing posts.. but thank you for the first NEW information I've actually gotten about t7 crafting in quite some time. Excellent writeup!
Can you show us the prospector/forester crit item item and talk a little bit about how it seems to effect resource availability.?
Any changes to farming? (in terms of planted node last time..auto harvest)..Any new dyes in T7 scholar?
Re: 45k Worth of Guild Rep and Weaponsmiths Shopping List
Well to be fair, my Weaponsmith is about the only one I'd call complete - she was the main one I was doing my landscape testing on, so she had the rep for recipes, etc. But I can put up what I have, and anyone who knows better can correct me.
As far as general availability - as it stands, the unrefined item (High-Grade Skarn, etc.) drop from landscape mobs as loot, much as crit items of the past have. Landscape troves (corpses, chests, backpacks) also have a chance of dropping them (and hides) in stacks of five.
From what I've seen, nodes are fairly common. The Bone-vales in particular are a Scholar's paradise, stuffed to the gills with coffers. The new 'flake' is the Cracked Sigil of Rhi Helvarch, and it has a chance of dropping from all nodes.
Prospectors, Weaponsmiths, Metalsmiths and Jewellers all use the Bit of Pure Calenard for their crit item.
Foresters, Tailors, and Woodworkers use a Drop of Birch Tar (from Birch Sapwood Branches).
Scholars use an Inspired Note (from a Page of Gondorian Parchment).
Cooks use a Pinch of Westfold Herbs (a loot drop).
Farmers use Clump of Peat (from Piles of Rich Soil - which are, yes, a loot drop).
Incidentally, all production professions have at least one single-use recipe from the Draigoch raid. Tailors have two - one for a teal chestpiece, and one for a gold cloak.
The biggest change for Farming is that Tier 7 crops (at least currently) operate on crop-to-product ratio of 1:1, instead of the past 1:4. However, farmers have an option of refining one at a time, or five at a time. Their new crops are Black Barley and Leeks.
Their Men of Dunland rep recipe is a Wildflower field that produces random batches of dye ingredients (Amaranth Petals, Woad Plants, etc.). Their Theodred's Riders recipe is a Wild Pipeweed field, which likely does a similar thing for Pipeweed. However, the rep recipes require the 'Pile of Rich Soil' that 'Clump of Peat' is refined from, and uses a Pile of Lorien Soil as the crit item.
Scholars are the exception to the current 'no components' trend - which is ironic, since they never had components before. They gather 'Scraps of Weathered Dunlending Text', which they turn into Scrolls of Insight, Books of Knowledge, and Tomes of Wisdom. These scrolls, books, and tomes are then the ingredients for their lore-based recipes.
There are no new dyes, and I believe their Scholar's Manuals are rep recipes from the Riders. Their crafting lore is now gathered by vocation - one scroll to up the crit chance for all three branches of the vocation. They can also make pocket items in the form of Atlases and Tomes, and now can make Minstrel Sheet Music (which has the same function as Runekeeper Inlays - the next induction cannot be interrupted and costs 60% less power).

Re: 45k Worth of Guild Rep and Weaponsmiths Shopping List
Armourers, much as Armsmen, don't have a series of complete sets at each level. Instead, they can make certain pieces at 66, 68, and 72, with the chestpiece available from the Men of Dunland at 70. Then a second set is available at 75, from Guild recipes or single-use recipes from Theodred's Riders.
There are no Tier 7 tools, as yet. Again - Beta, not final, etc.

Re: 45k Worth of Guild Rep and Weaponsmiths Shopping List
Thanks for all the screenies Jadzi!!!
The info so far has me excited about crafting
Although it /appears/ that they still have 2h recipes and I just have to wonder if any one uses them vs an LI. I suppose one could forgo the LI system if they chose to tho...

what is that bracket symbol with 2 besides the armor list?

That's the number that can be produced with ingredient packs. I had four in my inventory at the time, it takes two to make most of that armor, so only two of each could be made.

Actually all the non-Legendary Tier 7 weapons are bows and one-handed weapons. I haven't seen any non-LI crafted 2H sword, axe, hammer, club, or halberd or staff recipes. But Beta, grain of salt, etc.

Re: 45k Worth of Guild Rep and Weaponsmiths Shopping List
Wow nice, thank you very much!
It looks like the weaponsmith recipes are very much unfinished really, the Draigoch recipes have the same DPS as the R8 ettens class-specific off-handers yet far less appealing bonuses compared.
There seems to be no 'must have' crafted L75 off-hander for certain classes at least, except maybe the Sharp Swords of Théodred for LM/Champs? However, they are both common damage...also maces with outgoing heal? hum.
Edit: Singed sword of force? A little strange for what i guess willl be the 'top tier' weapon, needing an item from Draigoch and all.
Re: 45k Worth of Guild Rep and Weaponsmiths Shopping List
The Draigoch recipes (as they stand now, anyway) actually don't require an item from Draigoch, but are likely themselves a reward. Much in the same way that the Turtle-shell bracelet was a reward from the Turtle raid. The only recipe that requires Draigoch's scales is the one for the Epic-grade cloaks.

Yes. If you're currently Kindred, then you'll start RoI as 'Artisan of the Guild'. You'll need to level through an additional 45k of rep to reach 'Master of the Guild'.
Rep isn't being removed, mind, just another level of advancement added.

Crit item for the level 75 recipes is the Master Westfold Weaponsmith's Manual. The rest use the Bit of Pure Calenard.
thx for the info,
i think with 24 or 12 people rolling for 1 recipe..its hard chance the true crafters will get it
greedy people will roll for it to AH....

Was VIP when I hit kindred with guild, but now I'm a premium player. Would I need to buy guild access to hit Master of the Guild? I hope not!

While it would go against the whole OP of this thread, it wasn't asked(so...) are we sure that you can advance in the next tier of rep with previous rep items(IE: what we can get now) and it's not only advanced by the next tier of rep items?

That would be a very strange new precedent. When unlocking new tiers and ranking up your rep previously, you were able to use lower tier rep items for any tier.

One thing I've learned by playing MMO's for 15~ years is nothing is every not changeable. Which is why I asked
